It's a cold & bright day here in England..... can't quite make out the sea in the distance, but - it's there someplace !! Anyhoooo - welcome to a Thursday posting !!
I'm here, more or less on my own again.... J is upstairs & B has just gone back out to have her hair cut. She has been out for most of the morning, at a meeting in the village - so, after a quick, flying visit, she has headed out again.
As for our Daughter, ME.... she is at Uni today. I believe today, she has been asked to teach a group of first year students. She is in her last year now & it seems that she has impressed her way to a teaching place of some sort, for the day...... good on her I say !! It hardly seems like a while ago, that she started her course....... oh well........
As for me - I'm not feeling tooooooo good today, so, this will be a short posting. I can't get myself 'sorted' for some reason, making me feel well below 100%. I'll probably head back to bed in short while..... that's my "safe" zone !!
Anyhooooo - I'm well happy, at the moment !! I've been playing Peter Gabriel's last DVD over & over.... this morning I found his last Cd !! Yippeeeee !! It might sound dumb - but, I do lose track of Cd's in this little house of ours !! So, I'm happy - I couldn't remember where it had gone & today it's back in the fold, with it's brothers in plastic !!
It's playing as I type.... & as this is the last track, it will be followed by an Allman Brother's concert - which I also found (again) this morning !! Honestly - it's no wonder I lose things...... I just can't keep track of stuff.... me & my brain - "wot brain ?" !!!
I had an e-mail from a friend this morning........ I'm not sure if I've read it right, but...... Well, it seems he wants me to loan him a load of my older tapes, to transfer & then sell on as Cd's at record fairs !! I'm probably wrong - but...... it ain't going to happen !! It's a crazy thought & one I'm not going for.......
I've been recording stuff, since before I left my first school... on my Brother's old spool tape machine. I've just never wiped anything - hence I have tapes here going back to the 1960's !! It's those tapes he wants (I think) - but, he can jog on......... they are my little babies & there is no way I'm letting them out into the World !! I just wonder where his brain was, when he thought up this little plan of his ?!! Never mind......
The plan today, well - as usual, I don't have one !! Just going to finish this sentence & go back to bed.... that's a plan.... until next time...
