Old tapes & another blood test.. such is life.

Well, Here I Am Once More....

It's the end of another week... that is to say, it's a Friday, here in old England !  So - greetings.

I'm here on my own as I type - except for the oldest cat, who thinks if he stares at me long enough, I might cave in & feed him some cat treat - he is going to have to do better than that !!  As I've typed that - he has moved about 5 feet closer.... keep staring  fur for brains !!

B has been here with me today... she was going to the gym, but... well, I said she didn't have to go - and, altho' I didn't say anything to her - I'm glad she stayed at home !!  I'm still feeling a little below the weather line at the moment, so - I'm glad she stayed !!

Anyhoo - I'm home alone now.  B & J have gone down to the Dr's to pick up some more of my med's & take Murphy (the neighbour's dog) for a walk.  B took him out once today - but, as P - the neighbour won't be home until later, she decided to take him out again.  I think they both enjoy the walks - I know Murphy does - he is like a big bear... he really is !!

ME is working at the moment - I'm not 100% sure when she will finish today... but, she is spending the night over at M's.... and she will be home later tomorrow, when M (her boyfriend) goes to work. He (M) had a job interview this morning - so, here's hoping it went when for him !!

I made a plan yesterday... maybe the day before... to try & list the tracks on a load of old "Music Tapes". To try & explain... over the last 30+ years, I've recorded various cassettes.  These I've called "Music Tapes" & I've numbered them as I've gone.  Most of them, I've put together, to play either in the car - or, at the time, on various tape decks where I've been working.

Ok - I've not recorded any of these, for quite a number of years now...... having moved onto Cd's.  So - as they (the tapes) are here, I've set myself the goal of getting the tracks down on the computer.  Mainly to give me something 'extra' to do... to try & focus in on something and to tidy up a few niggling ends !!  By that I mean, "I wonder what's on these tape ?" sort of things..... I have a bout 4000 cassettes & altho' I will never get around to listing all the tracks, on all of them - it will - as I say - give me something to focus on !!

So - the music of the moment is one of those tapes & as I type the Scorpions are playing..... I think ?! I can't really remember who this is... but, the thought is there !!

I don't have any Zeppelin concerts for today.... but, I certainly will have for tomorrow !!

Looking ahead..... I don't really have any big plans for the weekend.  B & ME are heading into the shops tomorrow, but I intend to stay home & basically kick back & rest.  B has pointed out, I have to go out again, at some point - but not tomorrow !!

I actually went out - as far as the Dr's this morning !!  I had to have another load of blood tests... a follow up, to the ones I had done about 2 weeks ago.  The last lot showed some sort of (another) problem & the Dr wanted to make sure it had gone away.  Mind you - after all the pills I've had to take, since the last blood test - well, it better of cleared up !!  I will have to wait & see I guess !!

The down side of this morning... I have a big bruise on my arm, from where the nurse stuck me !!  Boo-hoo !!  Never mind - tho' it is unusual for me to bruise from a blood test....

Anyways... I best be on my ways... until next time, with another Zeppelin concert.....
