Imaginaerum.... Ho-hum..

"Hello" everybody - how are you all doing ?!

It's another Thursday - here in "Ye Old Country"....... depending, of course, on what you call home !! Me - being born & bred in England - this is my home & ever more so, will it remain !! I have no plans on emigrating..... tho' if some of the more vocal scare mongers out there, would have us believe - this fair country of ours is about to be over run with migrants, from Eastern Europe !! So - maybe, just maybe, a trip to the East would be a thing to put on the "to do" list !!

Oh well.... it's another Thursday & I'm home alone (again)..... tho' - when ME went out, a short while ago, she did ask me, if I wanted to go along - to her work - for the ride. That was a nice thought !! She is only going up there, to collect something - or do something.... so, she won't be too long.

As for B - she has just gone out, for another Christmas get together - this time, I think, with the people from the carers group, that she attends. I think that's what it's about.... again, I'm not really sure !! But - with J up in Wales - that just leaves me here, with the music & the cats..... great stuff !!

I had actually hoped I could of gone along with B.... she could of dropped me off, in town, then picked me up on her ways back !! It would of given me a chance to look around the shops, on my ownsome..... nevermind - the offer wasn't made & I didn't want to ask...... moving on, to the music of the moment !!

I'm going thru' a kind of "instrumental" kick, at the moment...... yesterday it was Dream Theater's 'Black Clouds & Silver Linings' album (the instrumental Cd) and today, well.... it's Nightwish's 'Imaginaerum' album...... it's a great album, recorded when Anette Olzon was in the band & released in 2011 - it doesn't seem that long ago !!

It took a very long time, for me to get really into this Cd - especially given how good it's predecessor was 'Dark Passion Play' - but, it has grown on me, more so, since the latest live Cd has come out !! Oh well.....

I'm expecting some more Cd's in the post, today - hopefully - but, given how slow the post is, at the moment, I'm not going to hold my breath !! If they come - they come.... but time will tell on that one !!

For now tho' - I will away...... this is going to be part one of today's posts.... I'll come back later & do part two.... until next time..
