It's a beautiful Saturday here in England - can see right across to the sea & it looks pretty good out there... not good enough to go actually in the water, but.......
B & ME are out on their bikes at the moment - yep, I think they're mad as well - but B wants to lose some weight & bike riding is one way she has decided to do it !! Not sure why ME has gone - she had only gone a few yards when she was complaining it was hard work !! Oh well......
Us 'boys' are here keeping the home fires burning - there is no way I'm getting a bike... I might be getting old, but I've not lost all my marbles !! Not yet anyways...... maybe tomorrow or the day after !!
B & I went into Taunton this morning to visit a garden centre place - came home with a mp3 player... not really sure if that was on the list or what, but B's old one has gone loopy & she wanted a new one + it was quite cheep as it was an 'end of line' thing. She did buy a plant as well, so the trip wasn't completely wasted !!
I really wanted to check out the price of a ladder - to reach the high spots I can't reach painting.... boy are they expensive !! Much worse than I thought, so I'll probably have to find another way of doing it. The cat on a pole idea seems favourite at the moment.... only joking !!
Talking of cats - one of ours has taken himself to our bed... very unusual for him... the 'kittens' are normally there first, never mind - he'll move in a minute when I go up for my afternoon sleep. I didn't have a very good night - woke up about 3.30 this morning with a pain that just wouldn't quit, so I'm a little tired from that.
Sometimes I have good nights & sleep thru' - but they are soooo rare... I can't remember the last one !! I hope once the implant thingy has been put in, things will get better - not just for me, but for B as well - it's no fun for her having me 'up' in the night !! We'll see.........
This morning ME 'phoned a bus company, to check out the cost of tickets to Birmingham - I think we might be walking there at this rate !! We will get there somehow - just not sure yet....... I think the price this morning was about £70 - kind of steep. We'll work something out - not sure yet !!
& talking of music (Birmingham/Greg Allman concert) the music of the moment is Pink Floyd's 'Animals' album - I've not played this in quite a while, but it sort of jumped out at me, so I'm giving it a whirl !!
I had an email from a friend this morning - there is another Led Zeppelin s/b bootleg coming out soon..... it's from Seattle 1975 - one of our favourite shows - so that could be good to hear at some point. I'm sure I could get a copy at the Bristol record fair, but.... it's very unlikely we'll go - so I better forget that idea !! It was good to from my friend tho'....
Anyways I must away & get some beauty sleep... thanks for reading !!
