Page & Plant 1994.. Ho-hum

Hi again everybody !!

I hope you are all well & happy, with your bit of the Universe ?! It's a bit wet & horrid here - but, that's just our part of England.... let me know how it is with you guys - I'm always glad to hear from you !!

As I type - B & ME are here, in our living room, watching the Jeremy Kyle show..... the way they are enjoying it, it must be a fun thing.... me ? Well - I'm past caring !! As long as everyone is happy - what the
heck !!

I've had a fantastic day - I don't think I've ever been this stoned !! Well - I probably have... but only when I've been stuck in the hospitals... I will try & explain. "Try" being the word !!

After feeling like crap, for a few too many days than I should, I went down & saw my GP (my local doctor) - who, I hoped, would alter my various pills & potions, in order to make me feel a little better. That meant getting up, bright & early - to get down to the surgery, at 9am For once, he wasn't running too far behind & I got in, more or less, on time....

Now, my hope was, that I would have my pills reduced - unfortunately.... well, I'm not sure if that's the right word - but, he actually  doubled up on my morphine pills !! So, instead of getting off some of them, I've landed up with even more than I went in with !!

Ok - I know, I could of refused.... to actually go along with taking them, but - having had a hole in my back, for the last year & a bit... all I really want, is for the pain to go away !! I'm guessing you can go along with my thoughts on that ?!

However - the other side of the coin - I've been completely stoned, for the whole of the day, since taking the extra pill this morning !! I hope, if I have to stay on the blooming things, my body will get used to them & I won't be flying as "high as a kite" for the next few weeks ?! Time will tell, on that.....

Apart from that little trip - I've been here, in the house, for the rest of the day.... !! See, I live a very exciting life !! Oh well......

As for the music of the moment... well, with the TV on, I've let the ladies have their couple hours of fun & left the stereo have a bit of a rest - but, I'm sure things will get warmed up... if not today, certainly tomorrow !! I really want to get my new recorder up & running - so far....

Well, to explain...

Yesterday, I actually switched the thing on & tried to do a bit of recording - it's not so easy, as I had hoped !! Well - it's easy.... I guess - but, as yet, I've not found out how to do it !! Thankfully, I have no urgent need, to record anything - sooooo...... I'll have to give it another go & try a bit harder !!

I don't know what I'm doing wrong.... but, I'm sure, I will try & get it working... well, working to the way I want it to. I have sooooo many tapes, that I want to transfer over to Cd - I have to get it to work !! Maybe - if I'm this stoned - tomorrow - I'll get it working straight away...... I doubt it, but... you never know !!

ME has just left - so... the music is blasting away !!

As I type, I'm listening to a page & Plant concert, from late 1994... just before they did the whole 'Unleaded' thingy.... the few tracks are:

I had hoped, that this tape would be, one of the, first to go thru' my new deck - boy, did I get that wrong !! Oh well - it's all music... either on tape - or on Cd... it all works, for me at least !!

Which reminds me - last night, there was a Status Quo acoustic concert, on the radio !! I've not heard it all, yet - but.. the little bits I heard were really good, surprisingly good !! If you get chance to hear it, give your ears a treat !!

Right - my plans for the rest of the night... none at all, really !! I'm just going to kick back & have a bit of a rest - no different than most of my days !! So - I will away...
