Another day in the madhouse !!

Hi again Worlds !!

I'm told that today is a Saturday - which kind of makes sense to me, mainly as I think yesterday was a Friday !! Nevermind - I'll soon get back into the swing of things.....even if it takes all of the rest of my stay in the hospital !!

Now then - yesterday, I was due to have surgery.......... but it got cancelled, at the last minute, mainly as they ran short on time !! So - I was booked in for today....... Guess what - it was cancelled again !! This time, because an emergency case came in & so I was "bumped" to allow some time.

Then the fun started.......

My wound had been seeping all this gunk not very nice at all - in fact, quite nasty actually !!  Anyways - when B came in, at 6pm, she was not impressed & made a complaint !! This set wheels in motion - mainly the staff running around, going absolutely mad tying to sort things out.... none of which didn't work, so I asked to see the head "Bod".

To this one of the nurses, claimed she didn't know how to contact anyone - so, I picked up the phone, dialed  the hospital switch board & was put right thru' !!

She then came over to the ward & really & truly had the wrong end of the stick.... she thought I was complaining about being bumped, which wasn't the case - I was complaining about the fact my dressing hadn't been changed in 2 days & the same with my bed sheets !!

When she saw everything, she understood exactly what I was moaning about & helped clear things up herself...... even getting to look at the open wound, when it re-done !! For the record - B thinks the whole wound look a bloody mess, so........ it might take a while yet !!

Oh well........

Earlier today, ME & (boyfriend) M came to visit - which was kind of amazing !! M never comes into hospitals - so, I was very good & hid all the goo from him !! Then, later, as mentioned B came in... and everything got sorted !!

As for music - I've been playing all sorts of stuff, off the iPod. Best of all, I've been going thru' the Allman's back albums & they have been great fun to listen to !! Plus all the old live "Playlist" I did - that has been great fun to listen to !! Oh well.......

I must away... it's drugs times, here at the old hospital. There is one guy here who is really pissing me off. It's his first time in & boy is he milking it.... just give me a couple of pills & I'll knock him out for the rest of the day !!
