Greetings World's !!
After what seems like forever - I'm back & typing away at the old & battered keyboard !! I really must get a new one - half the letters are playing up now.... so, I really need to check out some new ones !! Oh well.....
It's a Saturday - here in England & it's as close to 11am & my Daughter (ME) has just come over, to collect some more of her stuff !!
As long time readers will know - M (her partner) & ME moved into their own house, a couple of weeks back now.... and we have boxes here, still waiting to be collected - some of those will be on their travels this morning !!
Just took a break - those boxes !! They're not heavy - just bulky..... awkward to lift.... thankfully, my built in chair lift thingy will take most of the pain, of carrying them, away !! Nevermind.
My Daughter seems full of it !! She is obviously very happy.... really happy, bless her !! I'm really pleased the M & M's have finally got their own house - it took a while, for the sellers to move out - I'm glad for the two of them !!
Ok - it's a Saturday. I think it's quite warm - outside - mainly as it's pretty hot, inside the homestead. As I type - B is talking to ME - and... I'm pleased to say, it - the house smells of fresh baked cakes !! B makes the best cake....ever !! I just love the way the smell goes all around the place - not just here, in our living room - but, all the ways upstairs & everywhere !! Fantastic..... nothing beats the smell of fresh baking.....
So.... where have I been, these past 5 days, since I last posted anything ?! Nowhere - just sitting here, feeling pretty pissed off - not just with myself, but more so.... well, to explain...
On May 12th - I had another surgery... as long time readers will know. Anyways - I went into the theater, expecting the guy to have a really good go, at covering the back wound - by moving one of my muscles, over the wound & then a skin graft, over the top..... I know, it sounds gory - but, after having this wound, for 12 months now - I would go thru' nearly anything, just to get it closed over !!
I'm ready to be knocked out - then the Consultant tells me, he's only to do the skin graft..... he doesn't want to do the surgery (above) mainly as it's a big operation & he felt it wasn't needed. That really pissed me off - mainly as I had had a graft, back in December & that didn't work - hence the second surgery.....
When I come around - from the surgery - I was very upset, that the guy had only done the graft..... but, I was assured it would be Ok & everything would be fine.... Yeah right !!
Anyhoo - on Wednesday, this week.... I had to go back to Exeter, to have the dressings changed again. I can't tell you how I feel - mainly as, it appears, the graft hasn't taken again !! I am really upset by all of this..... Yesterday - I had to go down, to my local surgery, so the nurse there could take the dressings off..... She can not see any kind of graft, over the wound, at all..... which means, once again, I've had a needless surgery !!
I'm really pissed off about all of this - I went into hospital, to have a final surgery.... yet, on May 28th - I'm told that it might mean another operation !! May 28th is a special day - it's exactly one year, to the day, that I had my first surgery..... I don't need all of this crap in my life..... I want it over & done with !! That's why I had the surgery, on May 12th - to end it all, by doing the bigger surgery, it would of finished everything !!
I know - I shouldn't moan... I agree !! There are sooooo many people, in the World, who are worse off than your's truly - yet, it kind of sucks.... for all of the above reasons !! But - if you have read my posts, before - you will know how much this last surgery meant to
me !! To have it all go wrong, well - it has knocked me sideways & that's a a fact !!
I just feel very upset & deflated by the whole thing..... that's the main reason I've not written for 5 days, I've just felt like shit, about it !! Oh well...
Thankfully, I have a fantastic Wife + all of my music collection to listen to !! At the moment, I'm playing the fantastic Gov't Mule - live from May 3rd 2003.

The concert - well.... it's part of a concert, recorded in New Orleans. I'm not really sure, just how long the whole show was, but the DVD comes with a 2 Cd set - some of which is not on the DVD !! I only paid £5 or there about, for this, at a record fair..... and, as I've written before, it was one of those Cd/DVD's that were a turning point for me. After listening & watching this set, I started buying other Mule Cd's.... and, they are really good !! I can honestly recommend all of their stuff - so, if you find anything on a music store shelf - go on & treat yourself to some fine music !!
I did mean to write more, about Cd's & stuff, that have been a special "moment" or whatever, in my life...... but, I keep forgetting !! But... one album, that did mean a lot to me was Jethro Tull's 'Stand Up' !!
It came out, on Island Records, in 1969 - and, I think it was bought for me, by a girl I knew...... not a "girlfriend" but, certainly a "girl friend". I've a feeling it was birthday pressy, or something.... I can't remember !! Anyhoo - the tracks are:

Anyways - after having 'Stand Up'... and buying all those Lp's - when Cd's came out, I just loaded myself with them !! I don't really know how many I have now - but, it's more than a few !!
I am interested in going to a concert, but.... it means another overnight, in Birmingham & - being as I am "officially" broke.... I don't think that's going to happen !! But - it's a one man show, by Mike Nesmith - the ex-Monkee !! Honestly - I've seen the concert advertised & I really was tempted to go along.... however, for all of the above reasons & more - it's not going to happen, nevermind !!
B has offered to take me to see a Led Zeppelin tribute band.... who are playing locally . I've never been one, for all of the "tribute" band thingy.... but, as it's going to be on or near my birthday, I might go along !! I must be getting old - if I'm tempted to see a tribute
band.... !!
Ok - I best close down, for today. B is upstairs, moving furniture around, so I best go & offer some help - not that I'm going to be able to do much !!

Eric Clapton.... 'Crossroads' Ho-hum
Well Greeting's World's !!
It's a Bank Holiday Monday - here in England... not one that the 3 major political parties will be too happy to remember !! More of that later !!
As I type - I'm sat here, on my ownsome... B is home - but, at the moment, she is outside. After putting it off, for more than a couple days... My Wife & Dearest Friend - well, she is outside, cleaning the car thru' !! To explain...
When the M & M's moved into their house - some long bolts (for their TV stand) went AWOL.... so, B is looking into the back of the car..... mainly as it's been folded down & they might have got lost, when she helped them move. I know that they were here, in the house - waiting to be moved.... but, B has just said - they are not in our car !! Bummer.... I guess that they are over at the new house, possibly put someplace, completely out of the way !! I hope they find them......
B has just now, gone across the road - to have a drink, with one of our better neighbours !! Plus - she (the neighbour) wanted a picture, of my back wound - when it was at it's worse. "Why !?!"....
The main reason - has been connected with the neighbour from hell !! Who - even now, 1 year into all of the crap I've put up with, still makes it her business, to slag me off - saying there was nothing wrong with me !! The picture... well, it's going to be shown to the NFH - and, as best as I can make out - to basically shut her up a bit !!
I was not too fond of the idea..... I'm very paranoid about my back.... and I really wanted to let the NFH just shoot her mouth off & leave it like that. But... it seems that she is still putting a knife into me, slagging me off & stuff - so, I hope the picture will shut her up !!
It's not like I've had a small cut, to put up with... as this picture will clearly show her !! I just wish she would keep out it all, but - her & her bloody big mouth is going to get her into trouble, one day..... I hope this picture will shut her up & stop her moaning about me !! Time will tell....

As I type, I'm listening to the early 'live' version of 'Crossroads' that Cream did - I think on the 'Wheels Of Fire' album...... which was sooooo well copied by Skynyrd on their 'One More From The Road' live set !!
I don't think that I mentioned.... I'm playing all the discs on "shuffle"..... so, as all 4 of the Cd's are in the machine, it's been a bit of a mish-mash of stuff !! It's gone onto 'All Your Love' now - by John Mayall's Blues Breakers.... so, I'm having a good run of tracks. I can't say that I'm enjoying all of them - as with every box collection, that I have..... there are always some that I prefer.
B has just come back in... another neighbour has seen the picture, for the very first time !! Her reaction was pretty good, or so B tells me !! Some thing like "Oh my God !!".... well, I know The Lord had a big hand, in getting me thru' all of this - but, I don't think he's in the picture !!
Back to music.... Delaney & Bonnie's 'Coming Home' is playing. Short but true story....
When I bought my first copy of 'Woodstock'... the 3 Lp version.... there was a little slip of paper inside. As I had been one of the first 2000 people, to actually buy 'Woodstock' in the UK - I qualified for a free single.... I chose 'Comin' Home' !! All those years ago - it was one of my favourite tracks !! Ho-hum..
I had a question, in my e-mail.... remember - you are all always welcome to mail me !! Anyhoo - I was asked if I had a favourite
single ?! In a nutshell, I have had 2 - from way way back. Probably, if I had to choose one above the other, it would 'Tin Soldier' by The Small Faces - very, very closely followed by Lorraine Ellison's
'Stay With Me' !!
Ok - I know I like rock music.... but, those 2 tracks have always had a big hook in me, ever since I first heard them.... way way back !! I've enjoyed hearing thousands of tracks, in my lifetime - but, those are my 2 favourites.
Picking an album track... well, that would be harder. Two that I've picked for my funeral, are Dream Theater's 'The Spirit Carries On' plus the short form version of Skynyrd's 'Free Bird' !! Ok - they might sound dumb.... but.... those are the 2 I've picked....... I won't be around to listen, but......
B has been in, the bit's for M & M's TV table, are not in our car.... so, they must be at their house someplace !! I know they were all here, ready to go - side by side - so, I know they went, where they landed up - that I don't know !!
Going back, to what I've written before, about the 'Game Of Thrones' books..... I've only got 24 pages to go, then I will be onto my last one. Hopefully, the next one will be out, in the not too distant future.... the story is a real page turner !! The books have been a really good distraction, while I've been laid up - either here, at home, or in the hospitals !! I would never have thought to buy them, myself - so, my hats go off to the guys, for getting me the various books !!
Murphy is running around, outside - helping B wash the car !! He really is a bear of a dog !! I still give him the odd biscuit, now & again.... it seems to enjoy the odd treats. He really is a funny dog..... but, I prefer my cats !!
Right, my plans for today - well, I'm going to do a bit of reading & maybe start on sorting out the (latest) mess, on my computer table !! It is forever growing !! Which leads me on to a question.... does anybody "out there" want a miniature Elvis Presley acoustic guitar ? It came a day or two ago..... and, to be honest - I don't really want it !! It's white, with an Elvis face on the butt end..... oh well.
I must be away - I'm getting a little bit of finger "ache"...... banging these keys is wearing them down to stumps !! Nevermind..... thanks for logging in - until next time..

Lynyrd Skynyrd 'Cardiff 1975'
Greetings World's !!
A "Hello" to my reader in Austria.... good to know you logged in !! Plus - all the rest of you guys - right across the World - from America, over to Hong Kong !! "Wow" !!
Anyhoo - it's a wet Saturday, here in England..... well, in this part of Somerset, where we live. Looking over - towards the sea.... well, it's all misty & cloudy... so, there is no hope of seeing the water - nevermind, it's warm enough !!
As I type, B - My Wife & Dearest Friend - is behind me, sorting out the kitchen & talking to one of our cats. We have 4 - as long time readers will know..... and, as it's about 3pm - the little girl has taken time, out of sleeping, to find some food. Bless her - she puts up, with sooooo much - being as the other 3 are boys !!
The youngest - Archie - well, he is about 1 year old now.... so, he likes to play - something Pip is not too keen on !! She is always putting him, in "his place" & making sure he knows, that - no matter what - she is the boss !! Oh well.....
B & I are having a quiet kind of day.... we didn't wake up till almost 12 noon !! With all of the guys living away now.... well, it's just the two of us & we are "enjoying" our little bit of freedom, away from the "kids" !!
For those, who don't know....our eldest - our Son J - is over in Aberystwyth, in Wales, studying at the Uni there... and our youngest - our Daughter ME - well, she is a nurse & has just - last week, has moved into her own home, with long term partner M.... from now on, they are referred to as the "M & M's" !! So - if I talk about any of them.... well..... you can get what I mean !!
By the by... if you are reading these words, J.... we would really like to know how you are spending the Summer vacation ?! It's up to you - I know you still hate my guts.... but, your bedroom is all ready for you, if you feel like staying over.
It's up to you !! I think your Mum would just like some idea, as to your plans - and if you need her to meet yo & stuff like that !! Let her know...... it's your choice !!
I was going to post some stuff, yesterday.... but time beat me, on that one. It was a very hectic - for me at least - day !! To try & fill in some of the blanks.....
If any of you heard screaming, in the morning - that was me. I had to go down to the local surgery, to have my dressings changed again !! To be honest - even tho' it continues to hurt, each & everytime people rip off the old stuff & replace it, with new dressings.... I am as used to it, as far as I can, at least !!
It only takes 15 minutes or there about - so..... compared to the original dressing changes - which, at times, lasted up to 2 hours.... well, 15 minutes is nothing really !!
The lady, who did it yesterday... well, she didn't fill me with confidence, over whether the last surgery was any kind of success !! It's been messing me around - so very, very much.... I'm really fed up with it all now !!
I was sat here - the day before yesterday & I found the wound had bleed thru' the dressings... right onto my T shirt !! That really sucks.... it's meant to be getting better - yet, some how... I don't feel too good, about it all !! Oh well & nevermind... and various stuff..... I'll find out, next week (on Wednesday) if it's been worth it all !!
Back to yesterday... we landed up in town.... and did a few odds & ends. There was a big - for our little area - funeral going on, with people along the pavements, showing their respects. I'm not really sure who it was, who's funeral it was, but.....
So - time we got home & sorted our self's out, it was heading into the early evening - and, to help the M & M's along - we went upstairs, to ME's room & put a bundle of stuff, into various boxes for them !! I know, that they will come over & collect stuff - as & when they get chance... but, it's kind of helping, as much as we can !!
The bed is also going over, to their house - at some point, with the remaining furniture....... it wasn't a cheap bed, but - it's a kind of gift, for them...... I guess they will put it in their spare room, at some point In the meantime - I've found the instructions.... and I'm going to take it all apart for them. It will make it easier, for them to put into their cars !!
Anyhoo - that was yesterday.... finishing up, with B & myself, in bed reading & watching 'NCIS' - one of the better American imports, on TV !! I've bought all of the box sets, up to date, for B - so... this new season will be here, at some point - but, that will be - as & when - we can sort ourselves out a bit !! Being declared "broke" earlier in the month has hurt - but.... life will go on !!
As for today....
Well, I'm sorry to see that the British guys, still appear to be missing, out in the Atlantic - I hope they will find them - but, having found the up-turned boat.... it's looking less likely they will be found alive..... sorry guys....
Also - on the news... there has been another shooting incident, over in America. I don't know what exactly has happened. It's all very, very upsetting & my prayers go out to all the families involved...
As for the music of the moment - I'm playing the soundtrack Cd's to the 'Woodstock' movie...... one of my better transfers !! I not only enjoyed doing it, for myself - but, even now... listening to Jefferson Airplane play 'Won't You Try'.... well, it's really good, even after - nearly 45 years !! 45 years - that puts it back into focus !!
I won't try & list all the tracks.... far too many, for today at least.... but...

A great concert..... and...... well..... there isn't much more I can say about it really !!
Remember - don't buy bootlegs. This concert is available, as an "official bootleg" so, check it out. Add to that - there are lots of Skynyrd 'live' albums, on the shelves, or thru' the Internet shopping places. Go for it - they are pretty good....
As I've been typing these words - B had been baking some fruit cakes !! The house smells of all the fresh cakes she has done - one of which, I have just munched on - I've got to give them a taste test !! It passed - I might have to check out another one - just incase.... !! Ho-hum....
Right - my plans for today.
I'm going to kick back & read some more of the 'Game Of Thrones' book, that I'm on.... I don't know what I'm going to do..... I only have one more, here, to read !! I guess, I'll have to wait until the latest ones are released/published !! I have enjoyed what I've read so far tho' !!
Plus - I have a bed to strip apart..... I'm going to have to make sure, that I keep all of the bits & pieces !! It would be a real bummer - if the guys took it over to their place & found I had lost a screw or a bolt !! I'll get onto that, almost as soon as I shut this down...

Anyhoo - it's a wet Saturday, here in England..... well, in this part of Somerset, where we live. Looking over - towards the sea.... well, it's all misty & cloudy... so, there is no hope of seeing the water - nevermind, it's warm enough !!
As I type, B - My Wife & Dearest Friend - is behind me, sorting out the kitchen & talking to one of our cats. We have 4 - as long time readers will know..... and, as it's about 3pm - the little girl has taken time, out of sleeping, to find some food. Bless her - she puts up, with sooooo much - being as the other 3 are boys !!
The youngest - Archie - well, he is about 1 year old now.... so, he likes to play - something Pip is not too keen on !! She is always putting him, in "his place" & making sure he knows, that - no matter what - she is the boss !! Oh well.....
B & I are having a quiet kind of day.... we didn't wake up till almost 12 noon !! With all of the guys living away now.... well, it's just the two of us & we are "enjoying" our little bit of freedom, away from the "kids" !!
For those, who don't know....our eldest - our Son J - is over in Aberystwyth, in Wales, studying at the Uni there... and our youngest - our Daughter ME - well, she is a nurse & has just - last week, has moved into her own home, with long term partner M.... from now on, they are referred to as the "M & M's" !! So - if I talk about any of them.... well..... you can get what I mean !!
By the by... if you are reading these words, J.... we would really like to know how you are spending the Summer vacation ?! It's up to you - I know you still hate my guts.... but, your bedroom is all ready for you, if you feel like staying over.
It's up to you !! I think your Mum would just like some idea, as to your plans - and if you need her to meet yo & stuff like that !! Let her know...... it's your choice !!
I was going to post some stuff, yesterday.... but time beat me, on that one. It was a very hectic - for me at least - day !! To try & fill in some of the blanks.....
If any of you heard screaming, in the morning - that was me. I had to go down to the local surgery, to have my dressings changed again !! To be honest - even tho' it continues to hurt, each & everytime people rip off the old stuff & replace it, with new dressings.... I am as used to it, as far as I can, at least !!
It only takes 15 minutes or there about - so..... compared to the original dressing changes - which, at times, lasted up to 2 hours.... well, 15 minutes is nothing really !!
The lady, who did it yesterday... well, she didn't fill me with confidence, over whether the last surgery was any kind of success !! It's been messing me around - so very, very much.... I'm really fed up with it all now !!
I was sat here - the day before yesterday & I found the wound had bleed thru' the dressings... right onto my T shirt !! That really sucks.... it's meant to be getting better - yet, some how... I don't feel too good, about it all !! Oh well & nevermind... and various stuff..... I'll find out, next week (on Wednesday) if it's been worth it all !!

You can never have too many... & Mr Puck-tin !!
Hi again World's !!
It's a Thursday - here in the wild South-West of England !! About an hour or so ago, we had a fantastic thunder storm.... a real window shaker !! It seems to have passed now, so.. once more, the Sun is out & we're being lulled into a fake "oh it's getting better out there" type of thing !!
Anyways - I'm home alone !! B has decided she would be of better use, if she went over to the M & M's place - stripping wallpaper off some walls !! I did tell her "I'll be fine" - but..... by then.... well, moving on !!
I didn't write anything, yesterday - mainly as I felt like crap !! I kid you not..... I'm not sure what the plastic surgeon has done to my back.... but, I'm wondering if he should take up butchery, as a
new profession !! The wound is giving me all kinds of grief & - well.... I'm really pissed off with it all now !!
The last surgery - for new readers - was on Monday, of last week..... May 12th. Well - on Monday, of this week - we made the trek, down to Exeter (again) to have the wound dressed.... locals, to that area, might have heard the screams !! Nevermind.. that was Monday.
The plan was - to go to my local surgery, tomorrow, to have it re-dressed.... followed by another trip to Exeter, next Wednesday - Yep - like that was going to work !!
It got to the point, yesterday afternoon.... well - I won't go into too much gore - but, it involved blood & bandages !! So... B took me to the local hospital, where a really great Dr. took the old soaked bandages off & redressed the whole area..... tomorrow, I'll have to have it done again, mainly as it's gone the way of yesterday.... blood & bandages.... if you follow my meaning !!
How they expected - in Exeter - for the dressings, not to be needing any changes... well, that's beyond my thinking.... all I know is, I feel like I've gone thru' a needless surgery.... and..... well - I'm really passed caring now !! Well, I would be - if it didn't bloody hurt sooooo much !!
Nevermind... I'll see what the surgeon says, next week...... I just wish he had listened to me & done the whole skin flap thing - rather than his "easier method" !! At least - my way - if I was in this much pain, I could blame myself !! Oh well.....
As for the music of the moment... well, it's one of the versions of Deep Purple's "Made In Japan" album. This one - well - it's a 3 Cd thingy - taken from the 3 recordings - from which, the original album was culled.....
I'm not sure how many versions of the album there are - but.... you can never have too many !! The basic tracks - across the 3 Cd's are:

Ok - I must mention how happy I am, to read that our future King.... Charles the plonker..... has stood up & said, exactly what I have already said, in these pages, over the last month or so... that
Mr Puck-tin is acting like Mr Hitler, by invading parts of Ukraine !! Well done Mr Plonker - my hat goes off to you !!
Today, Mr Alexander Kramarenko - I hope I've spelt your name right, so you know who I'm talking about - is going over to our Foreign Office, because the Russian Embassy has stated that Mr Plonker's (that's Prince Charles) comment was "outrageous" !!
Yeah right...... get a grip you dumb jerks, not everybody is afraid to say what they feel, about the so called leader of the new USSR (I quote from his own words - check it out... he has said he "wants to build a new & stronger USSR.....") and his invasion of his
neighbours !! First Georgia, now Ukraine... maybe Scotland will be next.... well, Mr. Whatever you are called..... you want independence, maybe Mr Puck-tin & his troops will help you out ?!

Into The Blue & Other thoughts..I kid you not.....
Greetings World's !!
It's a cool Tuesday, here in the wilds of England..... and I'm relieved to be back !! To explain..
Last night, there was this almighty bright light - followed by a massive thunderclap....... all the power went out (briefly) and, for a second or two, I thought the house had suffered another lightning strike. Luckily - I got to the computer & electrical stuff & pulled the plug. So - when the power did come back on, nothing was broken !!
I'm relieved, mainly as - a goodly few years ago - we had a similar strike & it took out part of the TV system & my old computer !! That was a bummer - sooooo I'm glad to say, it hasn't happened again !! Apart from a bit of a fright, that is..... the flash was bright & the thunder extremely loud !! Oh well....
I repeat - it's a Tuesday.... and I'm home alone !! The music is loud & - for some reason - 'Star Wars - Episode IV' is on the TV ?! I'm not quite sure why.... but..... !!
I was thinking... really & truly, "the family" only consists of B & myself now. ME has moved out - to live.......
Scupper all of that !! I was about to write "ME has moved out" and thru' the door, my Daughter came back - to collect some more of her stuff !! There is a lot of stuff still here - which can go over, to their new house - so, she has come back - to do another car load !!
But - back to what I was going to say....
Now that B & myself are the only ones living here - it seems pointless writing too much about the M & M's and J....... the guys live 10 miles away & J is over in Wales - when we'll see him again, well - that's anybody's guess !! So... I'm going to stick to the 2 of us !!
My Wife & Dearest Friend, B is out for most of the day..... she has a meeting, here in the village..... and then, she is off, into town !! I think she will be back in the middle of the afternoon - not exactly
sure when !! But - back to yesterday....
I had a visit to the dentist.... that was in the morning & from there, we headed down to Exeter..... for a visit to the hospital dressings clinic - that wasn't a lot of fun !! I can now, honestly say - the back wound is worse is worse than it was, before the surgery !! It looks bloody horrible - it really does !!
My understanding was - the hole in my back would be closed over & then a skin graft was to be put over the top...... looking at the couple of 'photo's I've got - I now have a carter, where once I had a small hole !! I repeat - it looks really bad - even compared to how it was, before the last surgery !! I don't know.... whatever the Consultant was hoping to achieve, in my eyes, he has failed completely !!
I have to go back, to the Exeter hospital, a week tomorrow, to actually see the plastic surgeon.... so, maybe, by then, it will look a bit better.... I'm really disappointed by what I've seen so far !! I'm pretty certain that I won't be having anymore surgeries, now.... Since I started this post - I've been listening to 'Kaleidoscope' by Transatlantic. I think it's their latest release - tho' I'm not really sure about that ?! Anyways, the tracks are:

Oh well.....
I've just changed the music... I'm now playing Asian Dub Foundation's 'Enemy Of My Enemy' !! The tracks are:

The whole Asian Dub Foundation thing - for me... well, it started completely by accident !! I bought a copy of 'The Paris Concert for Amnesty International' from 1998.... and ADF did 3 tracks on that.... from there - well, I was kind of hooked by them !! I tell you - only here, could you go thru' the stuff I play.... from day to day !! Nevermind...
I've taken a break - to help ME move some stuff.... it's amazing how much is left behind, even after taking so much already !! Totally mad..... It will look a bit better when I've dismantled the bed - at the moment, it's taking up quite a bit of the space..... Nevermind !!
I now have the house, back to myself - so, the music has gone back up to "11" & the walls are vibrating away nicely.... that should wake the neighbours up a bit !!
One of the neighbours, bless her, 'phoned last night.... just as we were falling asleep - to make sure everything went alright, for me, at the hospital. I don't mind - but.... we were pretty tired out, from the trip - so..... I could of done with-out the 'phone call, even tho' it was all done for the right reasons !!
Right, my plans for today.....
I'm not really sure ?! I do have some models, to put away..... over the last week, I've had a whole batch of new "star ships" & "planes" arrive.... add in the odd miniature guitar & things have been getting a little out of hand !! I will have to fight my ways in J's room & try to make sense of my odds & ends.....
Apart from that - I intend to kick back - listen to some more music & read one of the various 'Game of Thrones' books - I'm not sure which one I'm on, at the moment..... it's a good yarn tho' !!
I see I've had a bunch of "new" countries logging in, to read my words.... I thank you all, for doing that & taking the time to have a look at what is happening with My family & The Music In My Life.... until next time...

It's a cool Tuesday, here in the wilds of England..... and I'm relieved to be back !! To explain..
Last night, there was this almighty bright light - followed by a massive thunderclap....... all the power went out (briefly) and, for a second or two, I thought the house had suffered another lightning strike. Luckily - I got to the computer & electrical stuff & pulled the plug. So - when the power did come back on, nothing was broken !!
I'm relieved, mainly as - a goodly few years ago - we had a similar strike & it took out part of the TV system & my old computer !! That was a bummer - sooooo I'm glad to say, it hasn't happened again !! Apart from a bit of a fright, that is..... the flash was bright & the thunder extremely loud !! Oh well....
I repeat - it's a Tuesday.... and I'm home alone !! The music is loud & - for some reason - 'Star Wars - Episode IV' is on the TV ?! I'm not quite sure why.... but..... !!
I was thinking... really & truly, "the family" only consists of B & myself now. ME has moved out - to live.......
Scupper all of that !! I was about to write "ME has moved out" and thru' the door, my Daughter came back - to collect some more of her stuff !! There is a lot of stuff still here - which can go over, to their new house - so, she has come back - to do another car load !!
But - back to what I was going to say....
Now that B & myself are the only ones living here - it seems pointless writing too much about the M & M's and J....... the guys live 10 miles away & J is over in Wales - when we'll see him again, well - that's anybody's guess !! So... I'm going to stick to the 2 of us !!
My Wife & Dearest Friend, B is out for most of the day..... she has a meeting, here in the village..... and then, she is off, into town !! I think she will be back in the middle of the afternoon - not exactly
sure when !! But - back to yesterday....
I had a visit to the dentist.... that was in the morning & from there, we headed down to Exeter..... for a visit to the hospital dressings clinic - that wasn't a lot of fun !! I can now, honestly say - the back wound is worse is worse than it was, before the surgery !! It looks bloody horrible - it really does !!
My understanding was - the hole in my back would be closed over & then a skin graft was to be put over the top...... looking at the couple of 'photo's I've got - I now have a carter, where once I had a small hole !! I repeat - it looks really bad - even compared to how it was, before the last surgery !! I don't know.... whatever the Consultant was hoping to achieve, in my eyes, he has failed completely !!
I have to go back, to the Exeter hospital, a week tomorrow, to actually see the plastic surgeon.... so, maybe, by then, it will look a bit better.... I'm really disappointed by what I've seen so far !! I'm pretty certain that I won't be having anymore surgeries, now.... I can't see what has been done.... so, I'm not sure if I want to go thru' it all

Vinyl only Saturday......
Greetings...
It's a very hectic Saturday, here in the wilds of England.... to
explain !!
Yesterday, late afternoon, the M & M's got their hands on the keys to their house !! My Daughter (ME) and long term boyfriend (M) are now firmly implanted on their 30 year mortgage & life - bless them - is good !! I'm really happy for the pair of them.......
So - as they got the keys, yesterday, ME stayed the night here & since early this morning, she - along with My Wife & Dearest Friend, B.... well.... they've been shifting box after box, over to the house !! I'm not sure exactly, how many they have taken - but, it's been quite a few !! Oh well - they've just gone, with another load.... so, I'm guessing, that the upstairs, of this place, is probably getting emptier & emptier !! I'm heading towards bed, in a short while..... so.... I'll have a look then !!
So, apart from your's truly.... that just leaves our Son, J... who is over in Wales. I'm not sure what he is doing. The last, that I was told, he has finished his first year, at the Uni.... so, he might come back here, at some point, I honestly do not know the answer to that one.
As for me.... well, I'm well & truly pissed off, with the pain I'm in.... so, I've taken my mind off things, by having a "vinyl only" Saturday !! Since I got down here, this morning.... well, I've played one album, after another. So far... well, here goes the ones I've played:

Mick Pointer Band + Roxy Music & other stuff.
Hi ya World's !!
It's the end of another week.... not including Saturday's of course - and it's been an interesting day. First off, the family !!
As I type - B is outside, doing a bit of the garden - the bit I couldn't do, yesterday !! I've just spoken to her - she is going to get a ladder out - being a "short ass" - and I've told her to let me know, if she wants me to stand on the bottom. She might be short - but, she really does put her heart into it !!
As for the other's - ME & J - I guess they are doing alright ?! I've not heard anything from either of them, sooooo - I'm guessing all is going well !!
Today, later this afternoon, the M & M's get the keys to their house !! "Yippeeee !!"...... I hope it goes well for them - I love all of you, all 3 of you... so, keep smiling - life will get better, it can only suck for just so long !!
Anyways... that's the family.... so, that just leaves me & I'm doing Ok.
The skin graft area - the donor site - is starting to ache, but I guess that was only a matter of time !! I honestly can't remember, just how long it took, last December..... the last time I had it done. No brain.... and that's a fact !! Nevermind....
In the post, this morning, I had an appointment card come. My next visit, to the hospital - in Exeter - is next Monday afternoon.... so, that's going to be a tiring day !! To explain... as best as I can...
This morning, B had to go to the dentist !! Long time readers will know, just exactly how much she loves doing that !! It's really bad - to be honest - just how much she hates going...
Anyhoo - I've had to put off, going to the guy.... mainly as I've not been able to lie flat, on the couch thingy. So - while I was there, this morning, I asked the guy, if I could give it a go... and, it works !! I can actually do the whole "laying back" thing.... so, next Monday morning - I've booked myself in & he can have a moan at the
damage !!
Actually - a lot of it - "the damage" - was caused by the guys who do the whole "knock you out stuff"... when I've had surgeries !! Nevermind...

'Game Of Thrones' moment....
For all of you 'GOT' fans, who know the books & TV show...... think back, to Season 1 - when Jon Snow gave Arya Stark a sword ?! Well, she called 'Needle' - because of... well, if you know the story line, you will know why !!
Anyways.... she said that she had to "stick 'em with the pointy end" !! I've just put my hand, into a bowl of stuff, that I was washing up..... and, one of the knives - well, it stuck me with it's "pointy end" !!
Considering how much blood there was, you would of thought I had cut the tip of my finger off !! "Nope" - infact, now I've dried it off, there is hardly a mark..... I guess I hit a soft spot or something !! Oh well.....
Moving on to music... I'm still working my ways thru' the 'Live 8' DVD soundtracks - I'm really pleased on how well the Cd's came out !! Ok - I know.... I shouldn't be playing them at all, but.... they really are for my own use & - probably - if the thing came officially, I would buy it !! I really would.... At the moment, the Scissor Sisters are playing a couple of tunes - thankfully, as much as I enjoyed it.... they didn't do Floyd's 'Comfortably Numb' !!

One "live" set, that is really growing on me... and that's 'Marillion's "Script Revisited' by the Mick Pointer Band. I'm a bit of a Marillion fan & as this is just full of their stuff.... from the time Mr Pointer was a member of the band, it's well good !! The tracks are:

good !! I'm not 100% sure how long this will last..... but, it's down to them.......besides, after what I've put up with, over the last 12 months, I don't really care what they do !! There is no blood left, in this old stone of mine.... so, it ain't worth trying to squeeze me anymore !!
Oh - I forgot.... I still have one Cd to come. It's the latest from Transatlantic.... which was meant to be here at the beginning of the week !! So - if you're reading these words, whoever you are, who is sending the Cd... you really do suck !! How hard can it be, to post off a Cd - which is listed as being "in stock" - once you've been paid ?!
I know, the stuff ME has sold on "e-bay" has been posted, practically overnight.... depending on what day of the week it is !! I know this - mainly as I've done the wrapping for her !! Anyhoo - I hope the stuff will reach me soon.... besides, I wouldn't bother buying from them again !! If I can find the name - I'll let you know.... it's one of those, that sell thru' the old 'Play' site...... oh well....
Just sticking, with "e-bay" or whatever it's called. One of our neighbours uses it one heck of a lot !! It's almost like a little business their running from their house !! They go to car boot sales - swap meets - call them what you will.... there, they buy stuff "cheap" & then put it on "e-bay" until they make a profit on the stuff !! It's mad..... nevermind - each to their own !!
Another neighbour came over, this morning..... mainly to bring a gift for the "M & M's" new place... that was kind of nice !! Tho' - I did feel a little embarrassed - mainly as I thought B was on the 'phone, and I came down in my Pj bottoms !! I walked straight, into our living room, no top on, with all of my dressings "hanging out" - if I had realised, that someone was here, I would of put a top on !!
As it was - she got to see what the surgeons had done to me, last Monday !! She's after some pictures, of my back, to show the NFH.... no way !! If she - the neighbour from hell - doesn't think too much of my aches & pains, she can come over & knock on the bloody door herself !! I don't mind showing her some 'photo's... but, I ain't going to hand them out, to whoever wants a copy !! Bugger all of that......
Right... with Roxy Music (I think) playing 'Do The Strand' on the 'Live 8' Cd's.... I better think about closing down. I've lost track of time, really - doing this + the dishes & going outside, to talk with B !! It's really nice outside... a bit too hot, for me at least !!

Anyways.... she said that she had to "stick 'em with the pointy end" !! I've just put my hand, into a bowl of stuff, that I was washing up..... and, one of the knives - well, it stuck me with it's "pointy end" !!
Considering how much blood there was, you would of thought I had cut the tip of my finger off !! "Nope" - infact, now I've dried it off, there is hardly a mark..... I guess I hit a soft spot or something !! Oh well.....
Moving on to music... I'm still working my ways thru' the 'Live 8' DVD soundtracks - I'm really pleased on how well the Cd's came out !! Ok - I know.... I shouldn't be playing them at all, but.... they really are for my own use & - probably - if the thing came officially, I would buy it !! I really would.... At the moment, the Scissor Sisters are playing a couple of tunes - thankfully, as much as I enjoyed it.... they didn't do Floyd's 'Comfortably Numb' !!

The Wilco album... well, I didn't know who it was by, all I could see was 'Live In Chicago' !! Being as I love "live" stuff - even tho' I didn't know what was on it - I decided to give it a listen. I'll no doubt play it, over the weekend, sometime...
One "live" set, that is really growing on me... and that's 'Marillion's "Script Revisited' by the Mick Pointer Band. I'm a bit of a Marillion fan & as this is just full of their stuff.... from the time Mr Pointer was a member of the band, it's well good !! The tracks are:

Actually... so far - the bank have been really good !! That was a surprise, I thought I would be held up, at gun point & had the shirt ripped off my back !! As I say - "so far" - things have been pretty
good !! I'm not 100% sure how long this will last..... but, it's down to them.......besides, after what I've put up with, over the last 12 months, I don't really care what they do !! There is no blood left, in this old stone of mine.... so, it ain't worth trying to squeeze me anymore !!
Oh - I forgot.... I still have one Cd to come. It's the latest from Transatlantic.... which was meant to be here at the beginning of the week !! So - if you're reading these words, whoever you are, who is sending the Cd... you really do suck !! How hard can it be, to post off a Cd - which is listed as being "in stock" - once you've been paid ?!
I know, the stuff ME has sold on "e-bay" has been posted, practically overnight.... depending on what day of the week it is !! I know this - mainly as I've done the wrapping for her !! Anyhoo - I hope the stuff will reach me soon.... besides, I wouldn't bother buying from them again !! If I can find the name - I'll let you know.... it's one of those, that sell thru' the old 'Play' site...... oh well....
Just sticking, with "e-bay" or whatever it's called. One of our neighbours uses it one heck of a lot !! It's almost like a little business their running from their house !! They go to car boot sales - swap meets - call them what you will.... there, they buy stuff "cheap" & then put it on "e-bay" until they make a profit on the stuff !! It's mad..... nevermind - each to their own !!
Another neighbour came over, this morning..... mainly to bring a gift for the "M & M's" new place... that was kind of nice !! Tho' - I did feel a little embarrassed - mainly as I thought B was on the 'phone, and I came down in my Pj bottoms !! I walked straight, into our living room, no top on, with all of my dressings "hanging out" - if I had realised, that someone was here, I would of put a top on !!
As it was - she got to see what the surgeons had done to me, last Monday !! She's after some pictures, of my back, to show the NFH.... no way !! If she - the neighbour from hell - doesn't think too much of my aches & pains, she can come over & knock on the bloody door herself !! I don't mind showing her some 'photo's... but, I ain't going to hand them out, to whoever wants a copy !! Bugger all of that......
Right... with Roxy Music (I think) playing 'Do The Strand' on the 'Live 8' Cd's.... I better think about closing down. I've lost track of time, really - doing this + the dishes & going outside, to talk with B !! It's really nice outside... a bit too hot, for me at least !!

Superman can wait....Ho-hum !!
Greetings World's !!
It's a Thursday afternoon, here in the Sunny South-West of England.... not only is it Sunny, but it's a warm day, to go along with it !! That can't be bad.... Ok, I know it's pushing towards mid-May.... but, it really is warm outside !!
How do I know this - well, I was being a bit of idiot....... I will explain everything, in a while..... first "The Family" !!
As I type, B... My Wife & Dearest Friend... is sat a few feet away, to my left. She was out in the garden, but I made her a drink... so, she has come into the living room, to drink it. Having written that, of course, she has now popped upstairs !! Oh well.... that just leaves me with Smudge, our oldest moggy, to keep me company !! Nevermind.....
As for the rest of "The Clan"........
Long time readers will know, that our Son - J - is over in Wales... at Aberystwyth University. B had a text, from him, earlier.... it seems that he has finished his first year !! That seems to have gone pretty quickly !! Mind you... as I wrote, above, it is mid-May.... so, I'm guessing it's gone by quick, plus - the Uni year has finished earlier than I expected !!
That just leaves ME... our whirlwind of a Daughter !! She has been working this morning (shift)... so, I'm guessing she will be home anytime now. She has had a great bit of news... well, her & her boyfriend - M -.... they will get the keys to their house, on Friday !! "Yippeeee !!"
After months & months, of delays.... on the part of the people, who were selling the house.... it's all going thru' this week &.... as I said above - they get the keys on Friday !! That's great news, they have certainly gone thru' the whole gambit of emotions over this !! Thankfully, it's all coming to an end now !!
If the people selling stall now... in anyway - I think I will go around personally & tell them that they are moving out, as promised !! Kind of knock at the door & politely tell them, "we're the removal men & you're going now" !!
No really.... I shouldn't joke about it..... I really hope they will be happy, in their first house !! Bless them - they've worked hard, to get a foot on the whole 'Home Owner' ladder sort of thing... so, I wish them well !!
So, apart from the cats - that just leaves me !! I'm doing Ok.... it's been a hard few days... but....
As mentioned, last Sunday (I think) and before, on various days.... I went into hospital, on Monday & I had surgery, quite, late on in the afternoon, landing up back on the ward, around 9pm or so. I can't really remember the exact time, mainly as I was completely stoned !!
No, really.... I wasn't that bad - I just can't remember what the time was..... it had been a very long day. I had to be up early, then down to Exeter, for 11am. After that - I had to just wait my turn, in the operating theater.
As usual - people were moaning, about how long they had been waiting & stuff.... you know, all the usual crap !! For me tho' - I didn't mind, as B hung around, for a few hours, before going home..... it was a bit of a long wait, for her.... so, I'm glad she didn't stay for the whole time !!
This was my 8th surgery, since last May - my 2nd, in Exeter.... no offence to the guys in the hospital, but - I much prefer the set up, where I usually go, in Taunton.
I usually like to have a minute, to myself...... before being completely knocked out. Well, on both occasions, in Exeter - despite being promised I would have a little "me time" - before I knew it, I was unconscious !! It's only a small thing...... but, it's something I like & I didn't get !!
The other "big" disappointment....... well, that had to be the Consultant !! To explain.... sort of....
The whole point, of going down to Exeter, was to have a skin graft, over the wound... the bit, which - after nearly 12 months - has refused to heal over. Well - the Consultant spoke to me, before the actual surgery & gave me the choice of several options. By that - he went thru' what he could do & asked for my preference !!
It didn't make any difference !! I told him - considering everything that I've had to go thru' - exactly which type of surgery, I would prefer to have..... only to have him tell me, what he was going to do..... nevermind what I wanted !!
So - when I was sensible enough and could have a "look" at what he had done..... well, I'm not sure exactly what he has done !! I know he hasn't covered wound, that much is obvious...... so, what was the point of going 50 miles, to the hospital...... only to do something weird & wonderful !! I have - at this moment in time - no idea what-so-ever !!
The next morning - well, that was almost funny...... in a warped type of way !!
I was woken up, by the Consultant who operated on me, last December..... and asked what I was doing there !! Honestly - he didn't have a clue that I had been booked in, for a 2nd skin graft - or that another Consultant had taken on my case !!
After going thru' the reasons & everything - why I was there - he said.... well.... sort of - "you have the skin graft, now you can go home" !! So - the nurse took my various drips out of my arm & I got myself dressed - 'phoned B, to tell her to come & get me - and waited in the lobby area, for her to reach me !! Great stuff.....
..... well, not really !!
On B's mobile, there were messages from the hospital, asking why I had left the hospital - before getting the go-ahead, from the Consultant ?! Honestly - I couldn't get over it....
In the end, I called the hospital up & told them, a Consultant had given me the go-ahead to leave & - basically - they could sort it out, between themselves !! I was home.... and, as far as I'm concerned, they can sort out their own little "pecking order" - a Consultant said I could go home & that was good enough for me !!
I have to go back, to Exeter, next Monday.... and - I guess, some of my dressings will be taken off then.... well, some of them have already come off !!
When I woke up, on the Wednesday morning (yesterday) - part of my dressings were already hanging off, so I had to go down, to our local Dr's surgery..... once there, the nurse just covered up the bit, that had come away. It was then - while she dealt with my dressings, that it became clear that nothing had been done, to close the top part !!
B had a quick look... and, from what the 2 of them saw.... the top part is still "open" & I have a bunch of stitches below it !! I have no bloody clue exactly what the Consultant has done.... or why I had to have another surgery, when - looking at it now - the main reason, for having the surgery, hasn't been dealt with !! It's crazy..... it really is !!
Anyhoo - next Monday, I have to go back to the hospital &.... I hope... I will know then, what has been done, the reasons for doing it & what happens next !! No matter really.... I've well & truly had enough now. If I have to have more surgery, all well & good - but, for now.... I have just had enough of it all !!
Oh well - I'll see what happens then, on Monday. I hope the Consultant can fill in the blanks & tell me exactly what has been
done !! I know I've had another skin graft - mainly as I have massive bandage, on my right leg...... time will tell, exactly what is happening under that one !!
Ain't life great..... thankfully, I have some music to keep me sane !! So - after a long winded moan, about the hospital & stuff....

I would love to tell you, that I'm playing some fantastic "new" release.... by this band, or that band.... but, in truth, I've been listening to soundtrack of the 'Live 8' DVD's !!
I know - that's kind of dull, but - it's all I've got.... for now..... so, I just put up with it & enjoy myself !! I'm not sure who is playing at the moment - I think it's Muse, but.... I'm not really sure - it's a track I don't recognize ?! Ok ..... back to the top of this long & dull post....

Well - I thought I would be "good" and go out, to the front garden, to cut the hedge..... using our big hedge cutting thingy's !! All well & good.... except, as soon as I started, I realized - I actually couldn't stand up, let alone cut the hedge !! So - I was being an idiot...
.... I thought I would be sooooo clever..... helping B out !! Not a chance !! I felt like a complete prat... I realized - all too late of course - that I did have stitches in my back + a big hole type thing, in my right leg, where the skin graft had been taken from !!
Ok - I admit, I was too dumb to realize why Dr's tell you to take it eases & stuff like that !! Oh well - I guess, like many many others, around the World - I now know, I do not have "Super Powers" - so, until things do actually heal up.... I will sit back & listen to music !! The whole "Superman" bit will have to wait !!
Nevermind.... I must be on my ways.... I've taken up far too much of your time, today....... I thank you all, for logging in & reading my words.... until next time...

A special kind of Sunday.... thank you guys !!
Greetings World's !!
It's a Sunday - here in England....... and, this Sunday is kind of special.... first the family.... !!
The 2 ladies of the house, B - "My Wife & Dearest Friend" is sat on the couch, watching 'The Crimson Field' - a programme about the 1st World War. It's the last one, of 6..... and has been quite good. As for ME - our Daughter, is sat beside her.... mostly mucking around on her 'phone.
Her boyfriend M has been here for a few hours. His beloved Liverpool, lost the championship, to Manchester City. I'm not a big football fan.... but, I had to feel sorry for him !! Oh well.....
Our Son, J is over in Wales, doing a Uni course. I'm not sure when I'm likely to see him again.... I know he still hates my guts & nothing is going to change that - so, I've accepted it & I've moved on with my life !! I guess he - J - might want to come back here, over the various holidays..... that might be interesting - as not too long ago, he didn't want to be under the same roof as your's truly !! Nevermind...
As for the 4 cats.... they are about it, someplace - I'm not sure
where !! Earlier they were playing chase around the house.... mostly, with Archie doing most of the leg work, bless him !!
Right, it's been a special Sunday...
Tomorrow, I'm due back in hospital for my next surgery....... being home, with the family (J was too far away, to make it back) was really special - as I say.... because of tomorrow !!
I have to be in Exeter, for about 11am. From there, I will have to wait for a while - to go thru' a few checks - then, it's off to sleep & - hopefully - when I wake up.... my back will be back to it was, well..... I won't risk putting a "curse" on the whole thing !!
I hope, I should be home, by the end of this week..... time will tell, but, if all goes to plan.... things will be getting better, from then on
in !! Well - here's hoping, at least !!....
But, this will be my last post - for a while, so........ hang on in there & I'll get back to writing, just as soon as I can.....until next time....

Led Zeppelin 'Southampton 1973'..
Greetings World's !!
It's a very wet & warm Saturday - here in the wilds of England !! Honestly, looking out the window, it's really pouring down..... and, the ladies of the house have gone out in it - to do some shopping !! What's worse - they asked me, if I wanted to go !! How mad is that..... going out in the rain, when I could walk, happily - well.... that was fun !! Going out in the rain, in as wheelchair.... that's just crazy !!
Nevermind - it's about 12.30pm. I'm sat, really looking at a
big mess !! There have to be around 100 Cd's on this computer table of mine..... and, despite my great plans, on making the heap get smaller.... it's growing, ever growing !!
It's my own fault..... Today, this morning, I went looking for a 1969 bootleg, from Zeppelin's Paris show. Not only didn't I find it - I brought out another 10 or so, which I want to give a listen to !! I really music put some of them away..... I'm not sure what happens, if a computer table, with computer, crashes to the floor.... but, if this goes on, I can see the weight of Cd's and other junk, just folding the legs up..... !! No - it's not that bad.... but, I must do something about it !!
Right.... back to the family. With J over in Wales & the ladies out.... I'm home alone, with the cats !! That does mean, I can play some music really loud !! The cats don't mind......... one is asleep, one is deaf & the others are outside, I think !! I know Archie is out in the porch, the last time I tried to get him in the house... well, he wasn't interested, he really just went back to sleep !! His choice...
As for the music. Well, as I said above, I was looking for one concert & landed up finding several others !! It's one of those, which I'm playing now - possibly for the first ever time... People send me concerts & I put them to one side, meaning to get back to them..... but, never really getting around to it !! The Cd's I'm playing now - well..... it's one of those concerts !!
It was recorded at the University, in Southampton, on January 22nd 1973. It's a great soundboard recording & the tracks are:

I don't think I've heard this copy, of the concert, until now.... I've had various versions - but, this one is far & away the best of the bunch !! As always, don't buy bootlegs - buy the official stuff instead !!
I'm going to have to cut back, on what I buy.... I know, it's a bit of a bummer - but, after living the "high life" over many, many years... the bank of Ishmael & I have come to a parting of the ways !! I'm broke & that's all there is to it really..... !!
I will no doubt have the old album, if I see something I like - but I'm really going to have to cut back on my spending. Yep, a real bummer. But, having spent sooooo much time, last year & so far, this year.... kind of sick, I just have to ease back a bit !! Nevermind....,. it's May 10th & on Monday, I'm going back into hospital, to have another surgery.
I had the paperwork, a few days or so back - but, yesterday B took me down to Exeter, to the hospital, for a final run thru' and it is now official.... Monday is another day to add to the 6 or 8 surgeries I've had over the last 12 months or so !! Fantastic.... !!
Actually, yesterday was really good. I was kind of worried about it.... just incase, for whatever reason, the whole thing got called off. But, my concerns were put to ease, by a lovely nurse called Jo !! I was in the waiting area, on my own.... B & ME (who came for the ride along) had gone out to get a drink..... and, then, I saw Jo & she said "Come on - lets get you sorted, before it gets too busy" or something like that.....
It was good on 2 points really !! I knew Jo, having met her, last December, before the surgery I had then.... and, as the waiting area was really hectic, to say "before it gets busy" was something kind of special !!
I could feel the people looking at me - especially as she called me by my first name !! All these people waiting & I get the "red carpet" treatment - great stuff... it really helped, as I was kind of anxious about the whole thing, incase it got called off !!
Nevermind... it's going to happen & - hopefully - this might be the end of a very long year !! As long time readers will know, it was May 28th - last year - when I had the first surgery...... so, I hope this might be the last one, for now at least !!
Mind you - I've said that, all before..... I'll have to see how this goes !! I will keep you posted. I'm not sure, if I'm going to have the laptop, with me this time around.... it will depend on how long I'm stuck in the place, I guess ?! I'll post as & when I can...

I have been playing Neil Young's 'Live At The Cellar Door'. It came out, in 2013.... but it's new to my ears. It was recorded on December 2nd 1970 & the tracks are:

Well, I should put some of these Cd's away.... I don't really want to come home, next week & find this mess in front of me !! Apart from that - well, I've a couple of e-mails to write, to let some friends know what is happening.... that's about it really.
I'm not sure that I will post anything, tomorrow. I had hoped, to go to one of the Chapels, to take part in the Sacrament service, but - that will depend on if B feels like driving me !! I can't get there, on my own.... so, time will tell on that one, I guess !!

It's a very wet & warm Saturday - here in the wilds of England !! Honestly, looking out the window, it's really pouring down..... and, the ladies of the house have gone out in it - to do some shopping !! What's worse - they asked me, if I wanted to go !! How mad is that..... going out in the rain, when I could walk, happily - well.... that was fun !! Going out in the rain, in as wheelchair.... that's just crazy !!
Nevermind - it's about 12.30pm. I'm sat, really looking at a
big mess !! There have to be around 100 Cd's on this computer table of mine..... and, despite my great plans, on making the heap get smaller.... it's growing, ever growing !!
It's my own fault..... Today, this morning, I went looking for a 1969 bootleg, from Zeppelin's Paris show. Not only didn't I find it - I brought out another 10 or so, which I want to give a listen to !! I really music put some of them away..... I'm not sure what happens, if a computer table, with computer, crashes to the floor.... but, if this goes on, I can see the weight of Cd's and other junk, just folding the legs up..... !! No - it's not that bad.... but, I must do something about it !!
Right.... back to the family. With J over in Wales & the ladies out.... I'm home alone, with the cats !! That does mean, I can play some music really loud !! The cats don't mind......... one is asleep, one is deaf & the others are outside, I think !! I know Archie is out in the porch, the last time I tried to get him in the house... well, he wasn't interested, he really just went back to sleep !! His choice...
As for the music. Well, as I said above, I was looking for one concert & landed up finding several others !! It's one of those, which I'm playing now - possibly for the first ever time... People send me concerts & I put them to one side, meaning to get back to them..... but, never really getting around to it !! The Cd's I'm playing now - well..... it's one of those concerts !!

Asian Dub Foundation.... Ho-hum !!
Well "Hello" again World's !!
It's a Thursday, here in England...... about noon, I think - tho'.... I'm not really sure. Life seems to be hitting me a little too hard, at the moment & I - kind of - wish I could just curl up, in my "safe spot" and have done with it all.
As Marvin would no doubt say... "Life - don't talk to me about life !" Oh well..... I tried to watch a bit of the film version, of 'The Hitch Hiker's Guide To The Galaxy' last night. I didn't really bother too much. I used to love the old Lp version, the thing that came out sooooo many years ago, I have no idea when !! The film just left me a little "numb"...
"I could never get the hang of Thursdays" and, I promise - I will end all of my quotes, for another day !! Well - maybe....
I'm home alone, at the moment. The ladies have gone "walkabout" - first going up to B's Aunt's house, then over to her Dad's (I think) plus a trip to her Mum's grave. ME has done the driving duties.... which I'm pleased about. We have another 100 mile round trip, tomorrow afternoon... going back to the hospital, in Exeter. Oh well..... that won't take too long. It's only a pre-op appointment.
As usual - the last member of the family, our Son - J - is over in Wales. B said something about him coming "home" for the Summer holidays. I'm not sure when that will be....
On Monday - as you might already know - I have another surgery to get thru'. Nothing too major.... The Consultant is going to move a muscle, from part of my back, over to fill in the wound and, if that goes Ok - he is going to put a skin graft, over the top !! It sounds sooooo simple, reading it.... hopefully, it will be just that !! I do not want to spend this Summer, stuck in the hospital !! 3 months, last year, was enough for me !! For details - pick any post, from last May, thru' to.... well, today !!
As for the music of the moment - I'm having a bit of a Pink Floyd hour !! Their July 15th 1989 concert, from Venice is just coming an end.... fireworks everywhere & everything..... and, in a short while, their Wembley 1974 concert should start. If I've put the right disc in, that is !!

With the ladies away... I'm going to have a quick "tidy" around for B. It might not be much - but, if I can help in a small way, well.... I'll give it a try !! I might change the music tho' - I need something a little more "get up & go" to help me along !! I think I'll give these Asian Dub Foundation Cd's a good listen - I've had them a while now & I've hardly looked at them, let alone given them a play !!
If you ever have the mis-fortune, to come into our little home, you might be a little taken aback, by the music we play... after all, Pink Floyd, followed by Asian Dub Foundation ?! Come on.... only in this place, could you ever get close to something like that !! One thing for sure - it's never boring here !!
I was making room, on one of my shelves yesterday & took out one of my 'Lord Of The Rings' books. I mentioned it before - or I think I did - that B bought me the "talking book" version, of 'The Hobbit' & 'The Lord Of The Rings' for Christmas.
In total, there are 56 Cd's...... covering the whole thing(s). I decided, even if I don't get to listen to all of the discs, I'm going to try & listen along, using the book & Cd's together. That sounds really crap.... when I read it back, to myself - but, if nothing else, it will give me something to do, when I get out of the hospital !!
I'm well into 'The Game Of Thrones' books.... and, if all goes well, I will finish them off pretty soon. So, the Cd's sound like a good idea, to pass the time. If we actually have a "Dry Season" this year - I might actually get outside, in the garden for a while.
I remember, last year - coming out of the hospital.... if only for a couple of hours - and sitting in the back garden, listening to the
birds !! After all of the operations, that I had - at that time and knowing I was going to have another one, the following day - well, it was one of those 'Camera Eye' moments !! It was fantastic - it really was....
This might sound dumb - but, the ADF track, that is on, at the moment, sounds like something Hawkwind would of done, only a few years earlier !! Great band..... Hawkwind - I love their early albums !! I've collected a few of their later Cd's.... but, as always - too many Cd's & too few brain cells to listen to them !!
I hope, if The Lord grants me some better health, that I will actually be able to tidy up my tools, in our garage. Well - they are actually J's tools. I gave them to him, many Moons ago..... but, they are all over the place, so they need a bit of sorting out !!
I keep thinking about a new tool chest.... as I've mentioned before. But - I wouldn't use it anymore - it's not like I'm working & in need of my tools, like I used to !! A little story....
Back... way back... when I was just a "jobs worth" - I had this fantastic tool box, full of everything I needed at that time. Anyhoo - one day, one of the "big" bosses came to the farm & took an interest in my box.... being an engineer, he really liked his tools !!
He took such an interest, in my box - which was locked at the time.... that he wanted to look inside. Unfortunately, I lied about leaving the key, to the lock, at home..... so, the next time we met, I would be sure to open it up for him, to take a look inside.
Why did I lie ?! Well - it was a farm... it was very hot.... and, in my box - as was well known to everybody, at the time (well, one of the guys I worked with) - the bottom layer was filled up with small cans of lager !!
I was young.... and cans of lager were completely off the rule book !! So, I was left with no choice, but to lie to him, to keep him from seeing "our" little stash !! I say "ours" - mainly as the guys I worked with, if they got too warm, would help themselves, put a can in the deep freeze for 15 minutes & have themselves a "cold one" !!
Thankfully.... and I mean that... I gave up drinking many many Moons ago !! My last drink, was on my birthday, in 2007. Since that day, I have had none at all !! I honestly feel so much better for it, as well !!
Right, enough about the past - my plans for the rest of the day. I want to finish up the dishes & have a little tidy around. Plus, as the nurse hurt me, just a little more than I would of liked, this morning - when she changed my dressings.... well, I want to read my book & I'll lay back, on the bed & read as much as I can....... !! Sounds like a plan to me - or - I could just stay here & listen to more music ?! Choices, such is life..... thank you Mr Kelly !!

Deep Purple. NEC 1993 Ho-hum...
Greetings World's !!
How is your bit of the Universe treating you this fine day ?! It's a warm Wednesday, here in ol' England...... the rain keeps blowing thru' - but, all in all, it's a great day !!
As I type, I'm the only one at home. The ladies of the house have gone into town. ME is having her hair cut & B has gone along for the ride & to keep her company. With our Son - J - still over in wales.... well, that just leaves me & Archie to "keep the home fires burning" !!
Actually - I didn't know Archie was in.... I went upstairs, to get a book & he was spread out, on our bed.... I said a quick "hello" to him.... to which he was happy to purr along to, for a while at least. Once he realised I wasn't going to smooth him, he just rolled over & went back to sleep !!
I didn't bother to post anything, yesterday.... I didn't really have the time & I wasn't feeling too great, sooooo I gave it a miss. I trust I can be forgiven ?

This one tho' - has 2 great things going for it. (A) it was recorded on my birthday & (B) it has - for me, one of the best recordings of 'Stairway To Heaven' going !!
I can't get my head around the fact, that after all these years - I can sit here & listen to concerts & still really enjoy what I'm hearing !! At the time, I only had a few bootlegs, by Zeppelin..... so, to be able to play all of these concerts, now... for me is brilliant !!
As always - don't buy bootlegs - by the official stuff !!

How is your bit of the Universe treating you this fine day ?! It's a warm Wednesday, here in ol' England...... the rain keeps blowing thru' - but, all in all, it's a great day !!
As I type, I'm the only one at home. The ladies of the house have gone into town. ME is having her hair cut & B has gone along for the ride & to keep her company. With our Son - J - still over in wales.... well, that just leaves me & Archie to "keep the home fires burning" !!
Actually - I didn't know Archie was in.... I went upstairs, to get a book & he was spread out, on our bed.... I said a quick "hello" to him.... to which he was happy to purr along to, for a while at least. Once he realised I wasn't going to smooth him, he just rolled over & went back to sleep !!
I didn't bother to post anything, yesterday.... I didn't really have the time & I wasn't feeling too great, sooooo I gave it a miss. I trust I can be forgiven ?
Thinking about it - I might have posted yesterday... I can't honestly remember !! If I had a couple more brain cells, not only would I be a happy man, I might have a better chance of remembering things !! Nevermind - life goes on.

I can't get my head around the fact, that after all these years - I can sit here & listen to concerts & still really enjoy what I'm hearing !! At the time, I only had a few bootlegs, by Zeppelin..... so, to be able to play all of these concerts, now... for me is brilliant !!
As always - don't buy bootlegs - by the official stuff !!

Elena Baltacha RIP
Greetings World's...
It is with sadness, that I start my blog, today.... with the news that the tennis player Elena Baltacha has passed away. her fight against cancer has come to a very sad end. Our prayers & thoughts are with her & her family & friends.
I was here, just a short while ago, with a nurse. She had come out, to change my dressings & - as she hadn't seen me, for some time - she was saying how well, not only how well I looked, but also, how much better things were.
We were talking about how poorly I had been, in the hospital - last year - and how...... well..... I'll try & explain.
When I was very sick, in the hospital....... on 2 separate occasions, I was very near to death. I don't remember much about those times - just bits & pieces of memory. I had some very sad & some very happy thoughts at that time. I also had some very strange thoughts, brought on by the drugs & my poor health.
I don't think I have shared these things with you before - but.....
I was convinced, there was a man, who was in a bed near me, who had broken his leg, in a car crash. He & his family, where touring the Country, in a converted hearse, when they had crashed.
Across, from him.... his Wife was doing some painting, which she was selling, to help pay their way. Add to all of that, their 3 children were doing "live theatre" to also help with the expenses & to entertain people !!
I could also see, well I thought I could also see.... some mist, coming down from the tiles above my head !! I told you it was a very weird kind of time for me !! I can remember trying to tell B, about what I could see - I don't remember her answers, at the time....
There was also a painting, hanging on the wall, next to my bed. It hung there, for my weeks in that bed..... and, when I was really low, I had this image, in my mind... of what the picture was showing me !!
There were these rocks - behind them, there were 2 adult "ape men" holding a baby !! If that wasn't bad enough.... they were being hunted by some guys in American army kit.......... followed by an image of a Vietnamese girl !! She was being followed by a 2nd World War soldier, he was followed by a 1st World war soldier...... followed by 2 skeletons.... followed by an American Civil War soldier.... followed by an American Independence war soldier !!
I'm not making this up - I actually wrote all of what I was seeing, down in writing, on a note pad !! I know now, I was very sick.... very close to dying, but...,. that's what I thought I was seeing at the time !! Either I was "high" on something... or, as it's turned out, I was just "dying".... well - I don't know....
I have the piece of paper, which I wrote on, in front of me....... above all of my notes, it says:
"His Wife & him had a stand up fight, last night !!" Then... in B's hand writing, it says "What in here !!" I have no idea what that was about, who I was writing about, at the time.....
Below that - it has the name.... "Kerry Sorgente". I think she was the lovely 1st year nurse, who took some of my stitches out. I did a kind of note thingy, to put in her work plan - saying how well she had done it & how little pain I felt, while she did it !!
Below that, again.... in someone else's hand writing.... there are the numbers:
2.3 cm deep
32 cm long
5.2 cm wide
Those are the measurements of my wound, after it "exploded" all over Sarah, one of the TVN's in the hospital !! That's the reason I was very close to dying......As the guy in Exeter said, last Wednesday "That's life threatening !!"...... Oh well - it's amazing how thoughts come back to me, just from one visit by a nurse.
Just to close this off - the painting I was talking about..... it was a of some kind of fir tree, with various bits of stuff around it !! Oh well..... Moving on.....
The Family.....
Well, ME is just starting her weeks off of work, on holiday. She is with boyfriend M, I guess.... it's a public holiday, over here today.... so, he is off as well. I'm not sure where they were thinking of going - but, I hope it's some place good. The Sun is out & it's really quite warm !!
J is over in Wales still.... doing his Uni course....... and still hating my guts !! Nevermind....
That just leaves B - who, after rushing around yesterday, doing this, that & the other, is in bed, feeling poorly !! That's a bummer...... I hope she will be better, in a while at least !! I will do my best, to take care of her.
As for the music of the moment.... I'm playing another Led Zeppelin concert. This time, from their last night, at Earl's Court in 1975. The tracks are:

'Tangerine' is playing, as I type..... oh the memories come flooding back !! This show, the one I'm playing is from May 25th '75.... I actually saw the show, the previous night..... hence the memories !!
I've told the next story, over & over.... so, if you've read it before, I do say "sorry" !! However - the previous night... the 24th, was a Saturday & I was one of, about, 18,000 people in the hall that night. Also, in the same 18,000 or so people, was a guy who, 3 years later, was "Best Man" at my wedding.... to his Sister !! I've mentioned him (P) many times before.... he was a true friend, one of those rare people who you come across, only once or twice in your whole life.
At the time, I didn't know him.... so, to be in a World of 6 Billion, or whatever it is & to be in the same hall, on the same night, is really strange !! Plus - the guy was from Bermuda - so, for those of you, who do the whole math's thing - there has to be some really weird improbability thing going on there !!
Nevermind.... it's a great concert. I do prefer the show, from the previous night.... but, for all of the above reasons, I'm very bias !! Moving on.... again....
No - not really..... I might be wrong, but this could be one of the longest ever, recorded concerts, by Zeppelin. It's got the extra encores on.... so, that pads it out a bit. If anybody out there, reading my words, know of a longer tape, let me know - I'll try & track it down !!
As it's a public holiday, I'm still waiting on some new albums, in the post. I hope they come soon - I want to get them onto the Mini Egg, ready for next Monday's trip down to Exeter.... and my next surgery. If I'm in there, the hospital, for any length of time, it will give me chance to listen to them !!
On the reading front....
I'm trying my best, to finish 'A Feast For Crows' by George RR Martin. I'm not sure which book it is, in the run of 'A Game Of Thrones' set..... but, if I can finish this one, I can take the next one with me & get started on that !!
The next one is called 'A Dance With Dragons 1: Dreams Of Dragons'. I'm looking forward to getting into that one !! It's not often, that a book gets a hook, into me.... but, these 'Thrones' books have done just that !! I still say 'The Dig Tree' is the best book, not so much, that I've ever read - but, it really is one of my all time favourites, if not my favourite..... if you know what I'm trying to say !!
At least, by the time, I get around to watching Season 4 of the TV show.... I will have a better understanding of what it's about !! Oh well..... life is good.
Yesterday, I had a moan about The Church. Well - a few hours, after writing those words, we had a 'phone call, from one of the Missionaries !! I don't know, if it's connected to my post, but - it did seem very strange & coincidental !! He - and his family - are coming to see us, in a month or two. "Why" I don't know.....
I still intend, going to one of The Chapels, next Sunday, for The Sacrament...... so, if you are reading my words people..... Bishop, you have a few days, to get here - to my front door, to say "sorry" for the way you treated me, on May 26th last year !!
It's not like I'm holding a grudge, or anything..... but, according to the "Powers That Be" out in salt lake City, you were way out of line, keeping me from the service, on that day. I will come back, to the Taunton Chapel..... but, not until you get your ass here & say you're sorry !! Yep - like that's going to happen !!
When - if you go back to the start of this post, I needed The Church, the most.... when I was going thru' some the crappiest things I had ever had to deal with, you, The Bishop of our Church, here, in this area, put a closed door in front of me..... you have the handle, on your side, if you want to open it......
Our Lord can only come into our hearts, if the door is opened..... Bishop - you have the handle, it's up to you, if you want to let me back into your World !! I've said this, before - I love The Church - but, when I needed it the most - it was taken away from me...... I didn't give up on you, My Lord..... but, people took it - access to your Chapel - away from me....

Led Zeppelin 'Seattle 1977' Ho-hum...
Greetings World's !!
It's a Sunday, here in England & - really & truly - I shouldn't be at the computer.... I should be getting myself off to Church. However - as - at the moment & possibly, for the see able future - I am not welcome at our Taunton Chapel... well, I'm sat here, at this keyboard - listening to Led Zeppelin & wondering what the next week or so will have in store for me !!
First - The Family......
B is outside, doing some of the lawns, with our mower. J - who is over in Wales - used to do them, for her..... but - as I say, he ain't here !! ME - well.... she is working this morning. I'm not sure if she will be home later, or if she is going straight over boyfriend's M's place.
I do know, that - after today - she is on a weeks holiday. I hope - if all goes well, for the "M & M's" they will have some better news, on the house they have been trying to buy !! It's been a couple of months now, since they saw the place - however, the owner's are dragging their feet over the sale & time is going on !! Hopefully, this week, they will have some better news on the place !!
So - that just leaves me.
This time, next week..... well, I will be heading towards one of the Chapel's. I'm not sure which one, as yet, but...... I want to go !! Mainly as - if nothing else goes wrong, a week tomorrow, I have to be in Exeter, for my next surgery !! Yep - 7 days, from tomorrow & I have another operation in the pipeline !!
So - as I won't be able to attend our own Chapel....... I want to attend one of the others and - hopefully, there, I will be allowed to take part in The Sacrament. I don't know, if my plan will come together, but - at least I will give it a try !!
The last time, that I was given The Sacrament, I was in hospital, last Summer, in Taunton !! "Wow" - that was some months ago now !! At that time, two of the Missionaries came by & helped me. Since then - nothing..... a bit of a bummer really !!
The last time, that I attended The Chapel, in Taunton, was May 26th..... last year. At that time, The Bishop had me taken, into his office & - as I was stuck in my wheelchair - that's where I had to stay, until I was allowed out !! It was a case of Guilty, until proven innocent.... and I will NOT attend that Chapel again, until The Bishop comes to my front door & apologizes !! The guy was way out of line & I will not put up with shit like that........ !!
The powers that be, over in Utah, have told me, that I was not out of line & that I was allowed to enter The Chapel - it was The Bishop who was out of order, by keeping me in his office, against my wishes really. If he comes to the house & says "sorry" - that will be fine, but - I don't think that's likely to happen..... so, no more visits - for me, at least - to the Taunton Chapel !!
Anyhoo - I really want to take part, in The Sacrament, next Sunday...... mainly as I might be "out of it" for a few months - if things go wrong...... again !! As long time readers will know, it was May 27th of last year, that I went into the hospital...... my last visit, well... that was yesterday !! My next one - that will be this afternoon !!
I'm still having my dressings changed, everyday - so..... the trips to the hospital are all part of that really !! No big deal - believe me - after nearly a year of this, going to & fro the hospital's, it's amazing what I get used to !!
Because I'm going back, into hospital, I'm trying to sort out some Cd's for a guy who lives just up the road. I promised to sort out a few spares, that I have, for him..... so, that's why I'm listening to
Zeppelin !! I want to check it out, make sure there are no big glitches on the things...... I hate it, when people give me Cd's that don't play, so.... I try & play things thru' - before I pass them on !!

I'm half ways thru' - at the moment, so I'm hoping to finish it off, before the end of the week. I can then take a "new" one, into the hospital, with me.

It's a Sunday, here in England & - really & truly - I shouldn't be at the computer.... I should be getting myself off to Church. However - as - at the moment & possibly, for the see able future - I am not welcome at our Taunton Chapel... well, I'm sat here, at this keyboard - listening to Led Zeppelin & wondering what the next week or so will have in store for me !!
First - The Family......
B is outside, doing some of the lawns, with our mower. J - who is over in Wales - used to do them, for her..... but - as I say, he ain't here !! ME - well.... she is working this morning. I'm not sure if she will be home later, or if she is going straight over boyfriend's M's place.
I do know, that - after today - she is on a weeks holiday. I hope - if all goes well, for the "M & M's" they will have some better news, on the house they have been trying to buy !! It's been a couple of months now, since they saw the place - however, the owner's are dragging their feet over the sale & time is going on !! Hopefully, this week, they will have some better news on the place !!
So - that just leaves me.
This time, next week..... well, I will be heading towards one of the Chapel's. I'm not sure which one, as yet, but...... I want to go !! Mainly as - if nothing else goes wrong, a week tomorrow, I have to be in Exeter, for my next surgery !! Yep - 7 days, from tomorrow & I have another operation in the pipeline !!
So - as I won't be able to attend our own Chapel....... I want to attend one of the others and - hopefully, there, I will be allowed to take part in The Sacrament. I don't know, if my plan will come together, but - at least I will give it a try !!
The last time, that I was given The Sacrament, I was in hospital, last Summer, in Taunton !! "Wow" - that was some months ago now !! At that time, two of the Missionaries came by & helped me. Since then - nothing..... a bit of a bummer really !!
The last time, that I attended The Chapel, in Taunton, was May 26th..... last year. At that time, The Bishop had me taken, into his office & - as I was stuck in my wheelchair - that's where I had to stay, until I was allowed out !! It was a case of Guilty, until proven innocent.... and I will NOT attend that Chapel again, until The Bishop comes to my front door & apologizes !! The guy was way out of line & I will not put up with shit like that........ !!
The powers that be, over in Utah, have told me, that I was not out of line & that I was allowed to enter The Chapel - it was The Bishop who was out of order, by keeping me in his office, against my wishes really. If he comes to the house & says "sorry" - that will be fine, but - I don't think that's likely to happen..... so, no more visits - for me, at least - to the Taunton Chapel !!
Anyhoo - I really want to take part, in The Sacrament, next Sunday...... mainly as I might be "out of it" for a few months - if things go wrong...... again !! As long time readers will know, it was May 27th of last year, that I went into the hospital...... my last visit, well... that was yesterday !! My next one - that will be this afternoon !!
I'm still having my dressings changed, everyday - so..... the trips to the hospital are all part of that really !! No big deal - believe me - after nearly a year of this, going to & fro the hospital's, it's amazing what I get used to !!
Because I'm going back, into hospital, I'm trying to sort out some Cd's for a guy who lives just up the road. I promised to sort out a few spares, that I have, for him..... so, that's why I'm listening to
Zeppelin !! I want to check it out, make sure there are no big glitches on the things...... I hate it, when people give me Cd's that don't play, so.... I try & play things thru' - before I pass them on !!
The music of the moment is from Zep's Seattle 1977 concert..... I've listed the tracks, somewhere, before - so...... you can find them posted, if you want, on an earlier post of mine. Following this, I'm moving onto a fantastic 2 Cd set, from Pink Floyd's 'In Concert' programmes. One was recorded in 1970 - the other, the following year. The tracks are:

Staying with music...... I picked up 4 albums by Asian Dub Foundation. "Why ?" Well, mainly as I have a DVD, from 1998, featuring the band, live in concert & I wanted to check out their studio stuff. The DVD only has a couple of tracks by them, so.... I wanted to hear some more !!

I'll give them a listen, as & when I get chance..... I'm certainly going to put them on the Mini Egg - I can listen to them, in the car - or the bloody hospital, if I get stuck in there for too long !! Time will tell.....
Right - my plans for the rest of the day. Well - I have the hospital trip, to look forward to.... so, as I've done a bit of housework, for B (already) - I'm going to sit & listen to some more music & read my latest 'Game Of Thrones' book.
