Well, It's a beautiful day outside - blue skies, white fluffy clouds & in the distance the sea is looking quite good, tho' I ain't going anywhere near it to see how warm it is !! I think I'll be the house all day to day.... not sure yet !!
When I wrote on Sunday, I was a little down in the dumps - mainly because I hadn't been well enough to go to Church. Well..... there is this thing called 'synchronicity' (I think that's the right spelling)...anyhoooo, as I understand it, it means that things happen for a reason, one thing leads from another. I'm probably wrong, but I think that's it.
Anyways, I couldn't go to Church & in the way of things, I'm glad we didn't go. My friend showed up & I'm so glad we were home. His Sister had just died & he needed to come out & see us - to get out of his home & what was happening..... he needed to see us & in a ways, I can't explain. It seems like we were 'meant' to be here for him - not at Church. I'm not sure if that make sense - but, I'm pleased we were here for him. I only met his Sister 2 or 3 times.... she seemed a nice person. I'm glad we were here for him.....
As for my family, I'm home alone today !! ME is out at Uni placement, J is out a meeting (hopefully leading to some kind of work) and B has just gone out to meet her cousin. She thought it was tomorrow, but her cousin phoned & is waiting for her in town - hence B has gone out to meet her & then go onto the gym afterwards. So, apart from the cats - I have the place to myself !!
I've nooooooo idea what I;m going to do with myself.... play some music, have a sleep, read a book, have another sleep & play some more music !! At the moment, I'm (still) playing the 'Woodstock' Cd's I did a few days ago. I'm really enjoying it & I'm sure it'll be played over & over in the coming weeks.
I did make one little mistake, when I recorded it & put in the chapters.... I missed one, between 'The Star Spangled Banner' & 'Purple Haze' by Jimi Hendrix..... it's no biggy - the songs are a sort of medley, with others. I just missed doing it at the time & as it's only for my own listening, I'm not selling it or giving it away to anybody - well, it's not a problem.
At the moment, Richie Havens's is playing...... it's great fun to listen to !!
Yesterday was a good & bad day for music. I had a copy of the new Peter Gabriel Cd 'New Blood' - which I've played a little of & I'm pleased with it. The instrumental Cd is great, good to listen to..... J has really enjoyed it so far. That was the good part of yesterday - the bad part, was not getting my copy of the new Zeppelin bootleg. I saw the guy who has my copy it, in town, yesterday.... but - well, he came up with a bundle of excuses as to why it's not reached me & so on........... never mind, I knew he would 'forget' - it's what he always does !! Life will go on...... and so must I for now.... I want to watch a thing on TV, but I'll be back later in the day....... until then...
