It looks really good outside, blue skies & a really nice view out to the sea..... it's a little cold, but !! I'm not going too far at all today - just back to my bed, when I've finished this.....
To explain. Last night was a right disaster here in the household !! B & ME went to a gym class - they go together from time to time - but, this time, ME put her knee 'out' - which she, again, does from time to time. So when they got home, poor little ME could hardly walk on that leg !! Bummer !!
The upshot of all of that is, that - this morning - she couldn't drive her car !! So, B has driven her up to Bristol so that she can go to her Friday Uni classes ....... I've just phoned B - she is sat in ME's car, doing some cross stitching, to pass the time - a little lonely, but safe all the same !! I'm not sure what time they will be heading back this way - but, I'm guessing it will several hours yet !!
So - that was ME....... the other person to have a bad night, was..... drum roll..... yours truly !! For some stupid reason, I couldn't get to sleep - the pain was really dumb !! No matter what I took to ease it, nothing seem to work !! In the end - about 2 am - I was sooooo tired, I just fell asleep.... pain or no pain !! So, that was our disaster night in the homestead !! You have to laugh or else we would cry !!
ME's plans - well, apart from getting home - I'm not sure what she plans on doing... but, B will drive her home & she'll have to decide from there what she does. My plans - well, I need a drink of water, so.. I'll watch a bit of TV & (as I feel like junk) I'll head back to bed !! I really do need my beauty sleep today !!
The music of the moment is a few tracks by Thunder..... it's another of those tapes that I've mentioned over the last day or two. As for Led Zeppelin - well, on January 27th 1973, they were in Scotland, playing a show in Dundee. I have a 2 Cd set of the show & the tracks are:
CD 1
1) Over The Hills & Far Away
2) Black Dog
3) Misty Mountain Hop
4) Since I've Been Loving You
5) Dancing Days
6) Bron-Y-Stomp
7) The Song Remains The Same
8) The Rain Song
9) Dazed & Confused
CD 2
1) Whole Lotta Love
2) Heartbreaker
3) Communication Breakdown
It's a good show - tho' I don't have all of it !! As the year (1973) went on, the set list became more or less the same for each show - but, in these early shows, that year - there was still a little bit of difference each night. Remember - don't pay for bootlegs !! They are 'out there' someplace or another...... just don't pay for them !!
Oh well - I'm guessing that's about it for today !! J has just gone down the village for me... yep, he has got out of bed !! I needed some stuff returned to the library & as it's unlikely B will be home early enough to do it, J has gone "walkabout" to help me out !!
So - with not much to write about & U2 (now) blasting their way thru' the room - I will away, until next time....
Bye Bye
