An ASDA Update... + Music !!

Greetings Worlds !!

Just a quick update on the ASDA complaint thingy !!

I sent an e-mail in & just a short while ago, I had another phone call from the ladies at the centre - the ones who deal with "idiots" like
me !!

The nice lady has read my e-mail & "surprise surprise" she has told me again, that I am in the right & the whole situation should not have been investigated by the Manager, who I complained about !!   It is not policy for this to happen... but, some how it has & she is forwarding the e-mail to her boss (in another building) and has suggested I write a letter to the team that deal with problems like me... oops, I mean, problems like this !!

I told her, that a letter was already in the post - to which she said - "that's good".... so, we will see what happens now !!  Nothing much I guess.... but, it's nice to know that, someone at ASDA understands our situation & is dealing with it all !!

I pointed out the thing about the "blue badge" and the Manager comments about needing just a "disabled tax disc" and she immediately said "No - that's wrong" as it turns out she has a family member, who has a Blue Badge' but, not the tax disc !!

So - it seems, much to my joy - the Manager has been wrong on several counts !!  I'm looking forward - with fresh optimism now.... I will let you know how things proceed - tho'... I still don't think much will come of it !!

B is here with me... she is adamant we'll no longer go shopping in ASDA.  Well - at least, not the one in town !!  He has upset her enough as it is - bu**er adding salt into the wound !!

Right - as mentioned... B is here, at home.  She has decided not to go into the gym today & have a bit of a break. She has been doing some of the never ending house-work.  ME is here as well, tho' - it seems - she has to go into work this afternoon, for a bit of training.  I had hoped she would get the day off - but, at least, she got the morning off !!

To complete the package - J is upstairs, working out stuff on his computer.... so, it's a full house at the moment !!

Talking of computers.... Try & watch the film 'Iron Sky'.  There is a bit in it, where the mad scientist looks at the mobile phone & asked "What is this ?" !!  To which one of the good guys says.. "It's my 'phone & computer".  The bad guy then turns around & opens some kind of "curtain" thing & reveals a computer, so huge & clapped out - it's like the ones that were about in the 1950's.  To this he then says.. "That's not a computer, this is a computer !!

What am I going on about - think Crocodile Dundee & the knife scene, in the first film !!  Oh well - I know what I mean !!

The music of the moment is 'Joyful Noise' by The Derek Trucks Band... it's well good & worth a listen, if you get chance !!  It has the brilliant Rahat Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan on it.... give it a listen !!

I still don't have any Zeppelin shows for now - but... there are some good ones towards this part of the year, so more later.....
