Led Zeppelin + Wilfred & Marillion Again.

Greetings Worlds !!

It's another Tuesday here in old England - what ever that's meant to mean !!  If this is "old" England - where is the new one ?!  Never mind... life goes on & on......

As I type - B has gone into town.... to take in a gym class & do a little bit of shopping.  Being a Tuesday, I get a little treat !!  Every Tuesday, B buys the TV paper & a small bar of chocolate for yours truly.... it's something she started doing a while back & it's become a little bit of a tradition now.  Plus - it means, if I get chocolate, it must be Tuesday !!  It kind of helps me get a grip on which day of the week is really is !!

Oh well...... B is in town, J is here looking after me & ME has gone to work, after having a day off yesterday.  I think she is working for 2 days now & then gets Thursday off - tho' I'm probably wrong !!

I mentioned yesterday, about a little boy who drowned.... well, up until a few minutes ago, they were still looking for the kids body !!  The place where he fell into the sea, has a very strong under current & he was 'washed' out to sea, before anybody could get to him........ I really hope they find him soon.  He was only 4 years old & on holiday in the area.  Our prayers are with his family......

It kind of makes my day seem a little stupid really.  Me sat here, typing these words to you & a family losing a Son.....

But - I will continue....

The music of the moment is by Marillion.  They brought out some box sets a few years back - with all of their singles on them.  So - rather than dig out all the Cd's... I think there are about 10 per box... I put them all together on a few Cd's.  The reasoning being, that I've bought the box sets & it's easier for me to play 3 Cd's rather than 10... so, that's what I did.  It's only for my own use really - so...... at the moment, I'm up to the various tracks that came out around the time of the 'Misplaced Childhood' album !!

I also found a Zeppelin concert, from August 21st...... I actually have 2 !!  After not having any, for a while, I find 2 from the same date - just different years.  So, what I'm going to do, is list both & then you - my readers - can see how they changes the set list, from one year to the next.

So, from August 21st 1970, I have a concert recorded in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  The tracks are:

They're both great concerts - I guess the big difference between them, is the fact in 1970 they were playing tracks from their 3rd album & in 1971, they were using things from the 4th album.... it's all good & I'm glad to have them in my collection.  I repeat what I say, every time, don't buy bootlegs... buy the official stuff instead !!  More another time......

I was hoping the weather was going to brighten a bit this week.... it's still overcast, at the moment.... Tomorrow or Thursday, B & I might had off into Taunton.  But, if it's raining - well, I don't want to get too wet, so we might leave it for a couple of days !!  I actually don't want anything special - but, it would be "nice" to go & have a look around 2 of my favourite record stores !!  I can always waste a bit of my time - especially if it's not too crowded - looking at Cd's & stuff !!

I know B needs a few things... so, we'll head out, if we can..... as I say, it depends on the weather & how I'm feeling on the day !!  I was wondering why I was sooooo tired yesterday... then, I remembered, I had gone to Church on Sunday & that took a bit out of me !!  Never mind - I'm glad we went.... it was a very "satisfying" trip !!  Oh well.......

Onwards.... my plans for today...... well, as usual, none at all !!  I might have a little sleep later, tho' - having thought about it, I'll probably find something to watch on TV & sit here, quietly watching that.  That reminds me....

..... I'm not sure if I wrote about this, before... but, I've had season one of the brilliant 'Wilfred' reach me in the post !!  If you have never seen this show - try & find a clip or something, on the net !!  It really is one of the funniest shows I've seen in a long long time & to have the first season on DVD - well, that has to be a bonus !!  Season 2 is being shown, on the BBC, at the moment... so, I can catch up with it.... but, I really love this show.... well good !!  Tho' - with my memory, I've probably told you all this before....

So - with that little bit of excitement... I better be on my way, for today.  I will be back another time, so I thank you for reading.... until next time..
