Beacon Theatre March 19th 2014 ...Ho-hum

Greetings World's !!

After what feels like a very long time, I'm back !! I'm sorry about the gap - since I last put finger to keyboard - I think it was last Friday, that I actually posted anything..... sooooo !!

To explain where I've been - that's simple... nowhere !! I've just been a little under the weather & needed some time, to myself & to get over feeling like crap !!

Going back, to last Friday.

In the evening, feeling under the weather, I took the opportunity of having some extra med's.... B knew I wasn't feeling very well - so, she gave me some extra stuff, to help me. That was Friday..... I - kind of - came to, on the Sunday !! Honestly - I completely skipped Saturday, all together !!

When I actually came to my senses - no, that's wrong... when I worked out, what day it was... well, as I say... it was Sunday & I had slept right thru' the previous 24 hours !! All very weird !!

Anyhoo - the last couple of days, have been a bit of a pain.... feeling like crap & just wanting to stay in bed & sleep. On a few afternoons - I have gone back to bed & slept for a couple of hours... but, it's taken, until last night, before I've started to feel any better !!

I'm just glad - what ever it is, that has laid me this low, hit this week & not next week !! I don't think, that going to the hospital, feeling the way I did, would have helped my chances of having the surgery !!

Hopefully, over the next few days, I can pick myself up - just a bit.... I want to arrive at the hospital, in fighting form.... I don't want to give the surgeon, any reason, to cancel my operation !! I've waited long enough, to have this next stage done & dusted with.... it has to go ahead, it really has to !!

For those new readers - "Hi - where have you been ?".... On Monday, of next week, I'm going into hospital, for - what will be - my 10th surgery, in the last year & so many months. I've lost count - but, the first surgery was on May 28th 2013.... so, it's been a very long haul, to get to this stage !!

I think - it's just 5 days, to go.... before I head South-West of here & land up, at the hospital, in Exeter. "Wow" !! Looking back - it's been a very long ride... but, looking ahead, it's only 5 days !! I'm sure, that I can live just a few days longer & get this over & done with !! Of course I can..... I ain't dying just yet !!

As I've said, before - I have the easy part... B... has the hardest part of it all !!

Talking of  My Wife & Dearest Friend....... she is out, today.... some kind of craft thingy, which is being held in Glastonbury....... the spiritual home of King Arthur & all stuff related to that !!

You could argue - that King Arthur & Glastonbury, are all the idea of an old monk, who needed the cash, to keep the old Abby going...... but, where would the fun be, in that ?! Henry VIII may have sorted the monks out - but, the whole King Arthur thing carries on !!

You could also argue - that Glastonbury, is the home to the largest music festival, in Europe.... but, those of us, who live  here - well, we know it as the Pilton festival... which is where it's held, most years. It's a few miles, outside of Glastonbury.... so, if you're heading to the music, this coming year - check your maps !!

Right - with B out of the house, I'm home alone !! Sooooo - the music is blasting away & I'm having a great time, listening to it all !! At the moment, I'm listening to one of the Allman Brothers shows, from 2014.... the tracks are:

Ok - I might have listed all of these tracks before.... but.... !! This concert was recorded, at New York's Beacon Theatre on March 19th..... go buy yourself a copy, you will not be too disappointed in your purchase !!

Since starting these few words - the kitten, come monster cat.... better known, as Archie, has decided to come down - from some where, upstairs.... and is now, asleep, on my lap !! Very unusual !!

He's probably deciding, which part of my legs, to eat first !! Oh well... as long as he's happy - and I continue, to have no feelings in my legs, life will remain good !! Moving on...

I finally finished recording my "mix tape" Cd's !! In the end - I landed up, with 14 Cd's - less than my last try, but slightly more than I expected !! I tried putting them, onto the iPod thingy, last night... but, that all went wrong - so, I'll have another go.... once I finish these last few words.

My plans, for today... well, that will depend on when B gets home, I guess. I've not thought too hard, about what I'm going to - but, staying here, in the warm, sounds like a great plan, to me !!

I do have a form, to fill out - from the bankruptcy people.... they want my income... again !! It's not going to take, very long... I'm still broke & I'm still living off my disability living allowance - so, I'll just fill out, as before - if that's not good enough for them... well, they can catch me, in hospital, next week... or some time after that !!

So, for now - I will be on my ways... I thank you all, for taking the time, to log in & read my words.... until next time...
