Nils Lofgren - 'Night After Night' !!

Greetings World's !!

I hope your bit of the Universe is treating you well ?! My thank's to my readers, in Russia & America, for logging in today & for reading my words !! As I've said - many times before - one day, I might write something worth reading !! The jury is still out, on that one !!

Anyways - it's another Friday, here in England... it's kind of cold, outside - nothing too bad tho'. B is hoping for some snow, soon - she hates being cold, but loves the snow .... go figure ?!

A little earlier - mainly to cheer me up a bit - we went, into town, to do a bit of grocery shopping. We didn't really need anything, that urgent....... but, I wasn't feeling too special, sooooo B put me into the car & off we went !!

At the moment, as those of you who live locally will know - there is a bit of road working, going on.... it's causing a whole bunch of chaos, it really is !! I'm guessing, that they are trying to repair & alter bits of the road, ahead of the some major building work.

The plan is - at some point - to build another nuclear power station, about 2 miles or so (as the crow flies) from where we live. So - the roads are being prepared, for all of the extra traffic, that will be using them - as & when - in the not too distant future !!

A lot of people, have been protesting, against the new station... as for my views, on the subject - I couldn't really give a crap about it !! I can't really understand, why people are moaning - we have had 2 power stations, at the same place, for one heck of a long time..... so, what is the problem, with building a 3rd one !!

Oh well....

I mentioned B... she is over, to my left - doing some more crafty stuff. Yesterday, she booked a table at a craft fair, near to where her Dad lives. The plan is - if all goes well - to have a whole bunch of stuff done... and then. try & sell them, at the fair !!

It's going to be the very time, that she has tried this.... the selling side of her hobby, sooooo - it's going to an interesting experiment, if nothing else !! I hope it all goes well - she is really hoping, that things will work out.

In the mean time, I can only offer moral support & wish her well !! I'll try & let you know, how things go !! It's not going to happen, until the end of the year..... ho-hum...

I'm playing a 2 Lp set, by Nils Lofgren....... It's called 'Night After Night' & I bought it 2nd hand, oh quite a time ago, from the guy who runs a 2nd hand record store, in town. The tracks are:

I was loaned a copy, of the album - well.... many years ago & when I saw it, for sale - I just had to buy it, to replace my cassette tape of the thing !! I will, at some point, try & find it on Cd... not for a while tho' - I have to get myself, all of the Allman's 2014 box set first !!

That's not too big a deal - Ok... it is, but I'm half way buying it now - sooooo, I just have to get the remaining Cd's & the actual box, to hold them, so - life will be good !!

As mentioned, probably yesterday - plus the days before that - I've sorted out the long tracks, and I've put them, onto the Mini Egg... so, that's good !! I might have some more, reach me - this coming week.... but, I'm getting to the point, where I'm running out of time !!

It's only 8 or 9 days, before I go into the hospital - so........ I'm reaching the point, where I have to sort my bags out & pack myself up, ready for my holiday, in the blooming place !!

That means, unfortunately - if Cd's are not here, in the next few days..... they will have to be left here, un-played !! As sad, as it might sound.... I will have to "man up" & leave things here - ready for when I come home. There is that, to look forward to...... oh well...

Right my plans, for the rest of the day.

I have a few things, to sort out......... but, that won't take too long !! Sooooo - for now, I will be on my ways. As always, I thank you for logging & taking the time, to read my words...... it's good to know, that there is someone - out there - and I'm not typing this junk, for my own use !!
