Hello & many, many greetings to all you Worlds & what ever you're living on........ where ever you're living !!
Ok - I think it's a Wednesday - might have to check on that later.... I do lose track of the days - well, mostly the nights really !! I go to bed one day & wake up a day or 2 later - I think it's God's way of making me rest..... either that, or B has given me extra medication to keep me quiet !!
She doesn't do that toooooo often, but sometimes when the times are bad, the Dr has given her (sort of) permission to do whatever she thinks best - I love my Dearest Friend & Wife, more than words will ever say - she is my St Peter, my rock on which my life is built !!
Talking of my B - she has gone out to visit her Aunt & to put some flowers on her Mum's grave...... I couldn't go today - 'long' car journey's are too much for me at the moment. As for the rest of the family - J is upstairs someplace & ME is out on Uni placement - I think she is spending the days in meetings, so she wasn't really looking forward to that !! But, it's all experience for when she qualifies - which will hopefully be next year.
In 2 weeks (I think) it's our Stake Conference in Bristol..... I won't be able to make this one. It's about an 80 mile round trip & I think that will be too much for me on the day. Plus, the following weekend - if I'm well enough, there is a 'big' record fair, in Bristol....... that might sound bad !! Putting a record fair above a Stake Conference - it really does sound bad - BUT, if we go to Conference, we won't be able to afford the trip to the fair - so we have to make a choice between to the 2...... & as the record fair is a one off (for me) - well, that is the target at the moment.
I spoke to Bishop yesterday & explained the situation... about not being able to make the 2 trips.... & I think he understands our situation. We might do both, but we'll see how things go.
If we go to the fair, I'll be able to meet people I've not seen in many years & I really would like to do that.... it will probably mean we have to sleep over in Bristol - again, it's too far far a round trip, but - money will probably be the deciding factor in whatever we do !!
I spoke with Bishop yesterday - a great guy - & we talked about what is happening at Church... in particular, the comments that are being aimed at us & how we feel about that etc etc. I've asked him to keep things to himself - I don't want things going 'over the top' - but it IS very upsetting, to B & myself !! I've said we might go on Sunday - we didn't go this past Sunday - but B is slightly against it....... as she has said, she has to pick up the pieces, when I'm upset - so I'm guessing we'll see how things go on Sunday !!
I love The Church - but........ I have to think about my family & other things !!
Onto music & boy have I been spoilt this past week !! Even the postman has wondered how many more Cds I 'need' !! So, in th post this past week....... 'Glory Road' by Gillan, 'Magic' by Gillan, 'Triple Trouble' by Gillan (again)... 'Teaser' by Tommy Bolin, 'Classic Airwaves' by Focus, 'Intermission' by Dio, 'Come Taste The Band' by Deep Purple & 'Wasting Light' by Foo Fighters + 'Simply Eva' by Eva Cassidy & 'Pearl' by Janis Joplin !! I think that's all of them.... I've lost count !!
I've maybe missed one or two, but..... so much music & soooooo to few brain cells !! They are all here on the computer table, ready to be added to the list - the ever growing list, I must point out........ but, I do love my music !!
The music of the moment - well, it isn't really 'music'.... it's a 5 Cd set I have of out takes from the old TV show, 'Northern Exposure'. So, it's spoken word & music lifted from all 6 seasons !! If you know the show, you might understand what it's like - for the rest of you.... well, you won't find the Cd's in any shop I know of, but you can pick up the DVD's from most online stores.
It's good fun to listen to - especially as I'm still tyring to do some painting........ I have to put some videos on to a book shelf, to make room for the next bit. The sun went walk-a-bout yesterday, so I lost the light - which meant this morning it was "touch up time". Never mind, I'll get back to it in a minute..... first I have to say.......
Bye Bye
