It's Wednesday - so what ?

Hi Worlds - how you doing out there ?  Is the sky the right shade of blue ?  Hope so !!

Ok it's a Wednesday & I'm sat here on the o' computer..... it's a great night outside, blue sky & really white clouds - quite warm, so I have the back door wide open.  It's a really 'nice' early summer night here in England (well, our part of it anyways) - not too bad for just after 8pm !!

The music of the moment is Blackmore's Night & a good French version of 'Streets Of London'.  It's tagged onto the end of a 'Live In Paris' DVD, which I've put over to Cd - plays really well !!  Great fun to listen to.... But, having said that, Nightwish have just come on - the 'live' EP they brought out a while back - all good stuff !!

I'm sort of alone here tonight.... for a change, it's B who is really poorly & has gone to bed early.  She has a bad headache, so has gone to sleep it off.  She has had it off & on all day - I don't think the smell of paint thru' out the house is helping !!  Anyhoooooo - I've got the music a little quieter tonight, got to look after my wife..... she looks after me after all, so it's my turn tonight !!

ME is out for supper with her boyfriend & J is upstairs in his 'hobbot hole' in his computer.  Did I mention, he has a new bed ?  It's really big... no, that's a lie - it's only a 3 footer, but the headboard & base make it look much bigger.  It has storage underneath - so he'll gain a bit of the space back there.  Oh well......

I know I mentioned the Greg Allman concert !!  Now we have 2 more tickets - this time to see the amazingly mad Otway & Barrett at our local arts centre... it'll be great fun !!  We saw them at the same place a couple of years back & it was a good fun night out - can't wait to see them again !!  It's their '40 Odd Years' tour !!

We skip concerts for year after year & then 2 come along at once !!  There are so few people I want to go see anymore - but it's mainly the cost that puts me off + the travelling.  I wanted to see Lynyrd Skynyrd, but their tickets were £75 each & there was no way we could afford that !!  Add to that, most of the groups, I like, rarely tour anymore in the UK....... hence the chance to see Mr Allman is a big chance  - too big to miss !!

I would like to see Within Temptation again, but........ got to weigh up the cost & distances involved.  good and to see tho', I just wish they would play somewhere more accessible !!  Never mind........ Music, more music & even more music - life is good !!

Tonight, in about 25 minutes, there is a programme about the Hasidic Jewish community in London - I really want to watch that, it looks very interesting.... have to turn the music off tho', what a choice !!!!  For now.....
