A Wet & Cold Day... plus an election. Ho -hum !!

Well "Hello" Worlds !!

How is your World treating you today ?  Mine has gone down hill rapidly... well... slightly.... but more of that later.

It's a very cold & wet evening... B has just gone out to weight-watches & as I stood at the door, it wasn't very nice at all !!  Never mind - she is going to text ME (who is sat here, watching 'Pointless') when she gets there.... mainly to set my mind at ease.... there are too many idiot drivers on the roads !!

So - that's the 2 ladies of the house.... J, our Son, is behind me, doing the supper dishes..... they make 'em dirty, so they can clean them up when they've finished !!  Sounds fair to me !!

Anyhoo - as soon as the TV finishes, the music of the moment will be 'Live Gothic' by Therion...... I wanted to play it earlier, but I didn't really get time..... mainly as I had to go to the blooming hospital again !!

Hence my day has gone down hill..... just a little as the afternoon went on !!

No really, it wasn't sooooo bad..... I had to go & have another set of X-rays taken.  Which was kind of fun, in it's self.... B came into the room & helped, by putting on the gowns - that protect people - and held my shoulders back, so the lady could get a decent picture of my spine.  It was "fun" in as much, the lady asked if I could hold my head/chin up higher...... if I could do that, I wouldn't need the X-rays in the first place !!

Oh well.... it's all over now - for the time being, at least !!  When the pictures get to the Dr's... well, I'm sure something will come of it - probably more pills & potions !!  Luckily, the pills I have been on, for a while, help... so.... that's good !!

The music is now blasting away..... Therion, very loud & very interesting !!  I have 2 'new' recordings in the post, by the band - so, I'm hoping they will be here later this week !! It will be good to hear other things by them......  more live recordings, to add to the collection !!

This is a brilliant recording of the band in full flight.... it's as close to a full length concert, from this part of the tour & is well good !!  I think it's quite a few years, since I first picked up this copy..... one of my earliest boot Cd's.  As always, don't buy bootlegs... buy all of the official stuff instead !!  More tomorrow..

The news is on the TV.. quietly in the corner... it seems like there is some kind of election in America today ?! No - I'm only joking... I know it's the Presidential election !!  Even tho' I'm not anywhere near the US of A.. it's all the news has been about, for the last 3 years or so !!  Well - it seems like that.... !!

The guy talking at the moment, seems to think Mr O is winning... how do they know this ?!  Oh well.... at least you have an election between a black man & a guy from a religious minority... who would of thought that 100 years ago ?!

For me, the best President America never had was Martin Sheen !!  Now, that was a man..... ho hum !!

Tomorrow, I have a man coming to see me, to see if they can help with anything, concerning my health & stuff I need around the house.  I've never met him before... so, we'll see how that goes, I guess.  there isn't very much I need at the moment - but, we'll see what he has to offer !!

I usually go to the new clinic, on Wednesdays... but, the lady I see is on a weeks break, so... I'm having a break as well !!  It's been a very "hard" couple of weeks... seeing her & everything that goes with it.  I know I'm sick & I have problems - but, these last couple of weeks.... well, as I said on Sunday, at Church... these past 2 weeks have been some of the hardest I've..... well, we've had to deal with !!

Never mind... life, for what it has to offer, goes on & on...... so, I won't moan too much !!

Something else.... I'm expecting a 'phone call, from a lady in London.  If all goes to plan, she will call tomorrow, about 12.30 ish... that's going to be fun !! I can't go into all the details, but.... I think it will, for me, be a little bit of "pay back" to someone who upset me.... well, that's the wrong word.  More like completely screwed me a while back !!  That's a better word.... I won't go into it... but, it's going to be an interesting 'phone call !!

I mentioned my friend, who had been visiting from South America..... well, he left here a while back & I had a great e-mail from him.  It's good news, as he has 'moved in' with his girlfriend & is starting to build a great life for himself !!  he really is a great guy - it's his 'contact' in the village that upsets me !!

Sometimes, my friend will send some stuff for me & the guy in the village "sits" on the stuff - or, as he says - forgets to pass the things on to me !!  That's such a bummer - the guy sends it a few thousand miles & it's the last few yards that messes the whole thing up !!  Never mind..... life goes on !!

Right.... my plans for tonight.... I'll more than likely have another early one.  B will be home in about an hour, so I'll wait for her & see what plans she has.  with everything that has gone on today & what is going to happen tomorrow... well, I need my beauty sleep !!

So with disc 2 of the Therion live set blasting away, I will be get myself sorted & be on my ways.... I thank you all for reading, if ever you feel like leaving any comments, I will be only too glad to hear from any of you ... so......... until next time...
