Taunton - It was hell, but somebody had to do it !!

Hi ya, all you Worlds out there - how are things today ?

Well, as mentioned yesterday (I think) - we had to go into Taunton today.... mainly to use the bank, pay some bills & all that sort of stuff - it was hell !!  But, with our bank closed for the week - well... we didn't really have a lot of choice.  telling someone you're behind with a payment - just because the bank is shut - well, I don't think it would work too well !!

We took J into town for a quick meeting at the Job Centre (or what ever it's called now a days) & then all 3 of us headed into Taunton.  I do not like crowds - they really get to me & there were people everywhere... so I was not a "happy camper".  But, we did what we had to do & headed back to town to do some shopping.

That was a journey & a bit - as the motorway was solid due to an accident somewheres.  By luck, more than anything - we saw the traffic was at a stand still, before we got onto the slip road & were able to do a 'u-turn' & come home via the 'old' roads.  Of course, everybody had the same idea - so it was all kind of crazy.

Never mind - we did some quick shopping & headed home - by which time, I was out of it completely... so tired it was unreal !!  I headed towards bed & slept for about 2 hours or so - not waking up until nearly 5pm.  That was my day finished - it really was.... such excitement !!

Oh well..... the family are here about somewhere.  All except B who has gone back out to the gym class again.  ME is here with her boyfriend (M) & J is upstairs someplace.... I didn't remember M was going to be here for the night - oh well, no problem !!  Me & my memory..........

The music of the moment is - yep, you guessed it - the Allman Brothers - the concert from March 22nd this year.  I've played 8 of the concerts so far & they all have their own little quirks to enjoy !!  Different tracks most nights of the season at 'The Beacon' & something different to get my ears around as I play the Cds !!

I can not imagine some of today's bands doing 15 shows over a month & playing different sets like this - mind you, there are not many bands I like who do this sort of thing anymore !!  The Grateful Dead used to - but...... like most of the stuff I like, they are "mostly dead" as the Princess Bride would have you believe !!

Ok - my plan tonight - is to do pretty much nothing !!  I'm going upstairs in a while, get ready for bed & maybe watch Star Trek, before falling off to sleep again... such is my life !!  Oh well...... thanks for reading...

Bye Bye
