It's a Monday, the 1st of August - another month is here & July has gone out the window !! It started quite well, but ended with me feeling pretty low - read yesterday's blog for details !! But, that was yesterday - as it's a new month - I've decided to start over.... to try & get back to how I was, rather than the way I was heading !!

I was just playing that track & right at the end, those lyrics came out of the speakers !! I've played the Cd several times - but it's the first time I've really heard those words......... Music is in my life & it's things like this that keep me going !! So, I will try & get myself back together & do as the song says "..don't let them run your life" !!
I went down to the Dr's this morning & he has changed my med's - hopefully to help with the pain I've been feeling...... it's hard work, trying to keep my spirits up, when the pain gets too bad & that is always in the background !! But, he has changed things now, so I'll see how things go from here - we'll see !!
Ok - the family are all out at the moment. B & J have headed into town & ME has just gone out to meet a friend from her old school - I think her boyfriend will be over later, so that'll be good - he really is a great lad !!
J is meeting up with some people he met at college - so as B was going shopping, she took him in. It's about a one hour bus ride from here - going all around the lanes & villages (maybe not quite that long) & it's only a 15 minute car ride, so it made sense to travel in together !! So, that leaves me here typing this words, in the company of the 'Smudge' cat - our oldest at 9 years of age - who is asleep, about 15 feet from me. I've not seen the other two this morning - but they are probably out in the sun !!
As already mentioned, the music of the moment is 'the newz' Cd by Nazareth...... it has grown on me over the last week or so - but, I have to take it back to the library at some point this week - so I'm giving it another play while it's here. Some of the tracks are too 'pop' for me - but, there are some good rock tracks on it !!
As for my plans today - well, I don't really have any !! I'm going to let the painting 'slide' for a day - see if the new med's help, before doing anything to make things worse !! So, I'll probably sit here & watch a DVD or something...... I'm not sure how long B will be out - but..... well, I'll see what happens as the day goes on. It's going to be a quiet one & that is for sure !!
B just phoned, to check up on me - bless her.... she really is my Wife & Dearest Friend !! She has just reached town & is heading to the bank to put some money away. Oh well.................. life goes on.
