Well Greetings Worlds !!
How are you all feeling this fine day ? Here - in our part of England - the rain seems to have to stopped for a few hours.... everything is still very wet outside tho'. We went into town a little while back & all the roads have mud on them, from the rain running off the fields.... never mind.......
It is very bright, outside..... but the sky is full of big white clouds - there's no blue sky anywhere. Oh well, I guess it will rain a little later on. We will have to wait & see how it goes, I guess.
Ok - as I type, B has gone back into town for a quick trip to the gym. J is upstairs... getting over a trip to the dentist & ME is a few miles away, having lunch with M (her boyfriend).... all is well with the World !!
I don't have any Zeppelin shows from May 1st.... but, there are a whole bunch of 1973 shows, in May... so - I will write about them as we go along. The music of the moment is Little Steven's 1st 3 albums. I couldn't decide which one to listen too, so.... I put all of them in the Cd deck & I'm playing them on shuffle. It's all good !!
I've decided to sort out all the Zeppelin Cd's over the coming months...... something like I did with the other Cd's last year. Putting them into some kind of order - rather than all mixed up, as they are now. I don't know how long that will take - but, it'll give me something to do....... if nothing else !! At the moment, I can't find what I'm looking for - without going thru' 6 or 7 boxes. That's kind of crazy..... plus, by sorting them out, I can double check what I've actually got here !!
B has said she will take me down to Exeter on Saturday, for the record fair... so, if it's not pouring with rain - I'll be able to meet up with some old friends & have a bit of a chat. I need to get some black Cd cases - so, I'll order them up from R (one of our friends, who sells them) on Friday. That way he'll have them all wrapped up for me, to make it easier to carry them...... there is nothing worse then having loads of separate parcels, either in my lap, or strung out across the back of my wheelchair !!
Have any of you - my readers - ever seen the film 'Tremors' ? I first saw it many, many moons ago... & now I've got the 4 DVD's of the films....... I think there are only 4 (?). Anyhoo - over the last couple of days, I've been watching them thru' & - as I type - the 3rd film is playing silently over in the corner.
I like this film - probably more than the others - mainly as they have followed on, more or less, from the first one.... it's mostly the same people (actors) - just older !! If you know the films - well, you either hate them or love them.... me, I just think they are a bit of fun !! Maybe I should get out more !!
My plans for today are pretty flimsy !! I'm going to try & read some more about Amelia Earhart.... I'm on my third book now, so I'm gradually getting the story behind what happened. The first book, well... that was about a big cover up & how she was captured by the Japanese troops in 1937. The second book was a little harder reading - being mostly about the 'known' facts of her flight. This third book - well, it's a mix of the first & second books....... Everybody seems to have a story to tell about what happened. I'll withhold my thoughts - it happened 75 years ago & until something really turns up, like the plane being found on the seabed - well, I'll go with the flow on what really happened, all those years ago !!
Anyhoo - that's the plans for today.... such an exciting life I have !! Until next time....
Bye Bye
