Uzbekistan - How Cool Is That ?!!

Greetings & "Hello's" To You All !!

It's been a warm & sunny day in our part of England today.  Better than the rain & wind we've been getting.  B, J & my good self, went into town earlier & it really was warm....... or at least, I thought it was !!  B was cold & J had his leather jacket on - while I was happy in a T-shirt !!  Oh well.....

B has gone out to her Wednesday gym class.... she left a short while ago.  That leaves J & myself home.  ME is out, with her boyfriend (M) for supper.... I'm not sure what time she will be home - sometime later I guess.

It's been a funny kind of day really.  As it was dry - I finally put up a 'No Parking' sign, at the start of our little path/driveway.  If nothing else, it just might (very unlikely) stop people blocking our way.  Also, as I cannot dictate where our friends park - it might just help, in keeping the NFH's drive clear !!  I've put up a sign - if people still feel like parking there, well - I've done my best & showed willing !!  Onwards.......

The music of the moment is Jethro Tull's Carnegie Hall concert from November 4th 1970.  It came out a while back as a bonus disc (DVD) in one of their re-releases.  I've just checked - it was the re-release of 'Stand Up'.  I had it as a Lp - now, I have it as a Cd !!  It's not that good a concert - but, it's worth playing anyhoo !!

While we were in town, I picked up some more white paper & a black ink cartridge, for our printer.  When I printed up ME's last work, for Uni.... well, we used up all but 6 pages of paper & nearly all of the black ink !!  So - we had to get some more.......

Plus - I needed to get some, to start doing my Zeppelin list.... that will take a lot of paper & The Lord knows how much ink !!  Much to my surprise - I have already done quite a lot of the work already.   At some point, I had scanned a load of the artwork - from the Cd covers.... all I need to do now is add some notes to each Cd & I'm done !!  It was a nice surprise to find it all tucked away on the computer's hard drive.... I'm not sure when i did it, but I'm guessing it was some years ago !!

Of course - that will take some doing.... at the last count, I had over 500 different albums, so... by the time I get around to doing them - well, best not worry about that, for now !!  Just to say tho' - it will take me a very long time to do them all !!  If nothing else - it will give me something to do !!  I think I'm going to need more ink !!  Onwards - ever onwards !!

I don't have any Led Zeppelin concerts from April 2nd..... but, I do have one for tomorrow - so, if all goes well, I will write about that one in (about) 24 hours !!  I'll see how things go, as I'm a little mixed up this week.

I really thought I had to see one of my Consultants tomorrow...... it turns out, that's next week !!  Tomorrow, we have a visit to the dentist !!  "Yippeeee" !!  B will be so happy about that !!  If you have read my words before - you will know how much My Wife & Dearest Friend loves going to see the dentist !!

Mind you - if she hadn't told me - I wouldn't of known about it.... I had completely forgotten we were going !!  At least it's not until 11.30am.... so, I get to have a little extra time in bed !!  For me, there is nothing worse than having to get up early & going to an appointment !!  It's bad enough, getting up early - let alone going anywhere !!

The only thing I do not like about going to the dentist... it's not the needles & drills... it's his blooming couch thing - the one you have to lie on !!  My body is just not shaped that way.... it's a pain, just getting onto the thing, let alone when he puts the thing back flat !!  Never mind.... all being well, B wont worry too much about it !!

She has been a "Busy Bee" today.... she did a load of baking, really early this morning.  All in all, she cooked about 40 little cakes for the lady across the road...... well, her Daughter-in-Law.... They collected them this afternoon & seemed well pleased with the results !!  They did look good tho' !!  When she gets going, there is no stopping B... especially when it comes to cakes & the such like........ the smells that come out of kitchen are pretty good, they really are !!

I was a little 'upset' earlier today... When we went out, we stopped in the village & met a lady from Church (who just happened to be in the post office)..... What got me going, was the fact, she didn't ask once if we were Ok !!  That might seem like a small thing to get "ticked off" about - but, considering what B has gone thru' over the last couple of months.... well, I thought she could of asked, if nothing else !!  Oh well - it's the little things in life that mean sooooo much !!

Me - I'm easily pleased......for example.  Today, I had someone from Uzbekistan log in & read some of my words !!  How cool is that ?!!  If you're reading these words... I thank you for your time.... as I do for all of you who take the time to read what I'm listening to & what my family is doing !!  As I've said before - it amazes me how many of you log in, over & over again !!  It really is brilliant to know you are all reading what I write !!  I think it's brilliant !!  I thank you again !!

Right, my plans for tonight are pretty non-existent !!  There are a few things on TV of interest, but - that's about it really !!  I finished the last book, I was reading.... so, it's going to be a music & TV night.  Plus, I intend to head for bed early-ish....  I need to get a few extra hours sleep, if I can.  I'm sleeping pretty well - I'm just getting too much 'pain' in-between !!  So, if I can - I will try & make up for it, by getting an extra hour or so tonight........ we will see how things go !!
