Another completely mixed up day !!

Hi Everybody In Internet Space !!

I hope your day have gone better than mine....... I am completely mixed up this week !!

To start with, I thought I had to see one of my Consultants today - which it turned out was wrong.... we actually went to the dentist, today !!  I had completely forgotten about that, until B told me yesterday !!  Also, on the way home from that visit to town, B explained that I am seeing a Consultant this week.... just not the one I thought it was !!  It turns out, I have to go into hospital tomorrow - this time, to have another visit with the eye Consultant... !!  I am completely out of it, this week !!

Anyhoo - the dentist was a little surprising.  The guy we usually see - Vinny.... I kid you not, that is his name - well, he has changed to more of a different job & so, his surgery has been taken over by a 'new' guy... well, new to us, at least !!

For me, I was Ok... I don't need any work done this time around.  But, poor B - who hates the dentist & was just getting used to going (mainly as Vinny was so good at his job)... well, she has to go back in & have some kind of work done !!  She is not looking forward to that - at all !!  I will go & hold her hand.... or at least, lend support !!  It will all work out - just not the way B hoped it would !!

As for my Wife - she has gone out with ME.... she (ME) is having her hair cut & so, they have gone together & B will have a trim while she is there !!  So - that's the ladies of the house. I'm here typing these words alone & J, is upstairs doing some work on his current project.  I'm not 100% sure what it is he's doing, but....... who am I to
intrude ?!

Anyhoo - the ladies will be home in just over an hour...... so, while they are out, the music has been cranked down to deafening & is blasting away quite nicely thank you !!  The music of the moment is the Led Zeppelin concert I mentioned yesterday.

It's a 2 Cd set from Copenhagen & was recorded on May 3rd 1971... the tracks are:

For any Zeppelin fan, this concert is a "must have" in the collection !!  The recording quality, for an audience tape is pretty good, plus... just look at the track listing !!  It's been called an experimental set list by some, to me tho' - it's just really good !!

Some of the tracks, are set to become regulars in future concerts - while others will only get the occasional play, from time to time.... just once in a while !!  It's well good.... even if the version I have is 'wrong'.  The artwork has it as being from June 3rd 1971 & 'Going To California' is not even listed !!  If someone is going to put a bootleg 'out' you would expect them to get it right - or at least I would think so !!  Oh well - despite being a great show... remember, don't buy bootlegs, get the official stuff !!

So, anyhoo - that's the music taken care of, for tonight...... if we go down to the record fair, on Saturday, there might be some new stuff to listen to.... but, at the moment, I'm not sure I'll be able to make it.  Apart from being mixed up this week, I'm felling poorly on top of it - so, I'm probably not going to make the trip.

I can't see any point in going, especially if it I'm too sick to enjoy ourselves !!  I'm thinking we could go down & stay overnight in the hotel - like we did last year... but, I really don't even feel that well.  As I say, it's no point in going all that way, if I don't enjoy it, once I get there !!  We will have to see how things go....

That's Saturday - I've still got to have the hospital visit tomorrow first !!  I'm guessing the guy will not have great news for me.... I'm still finding it very hard to see out of my right eye - so, unless he has a Harry Potter moment, I will continue the way I am & have to live with it !!  Anyhoo - who needs 2 eyes to see with !!  Onwards - but, I will let you know how things go........

I was just looking at our (towns) local paper, via the net.... it seems there has been an accident, just down the road here, in our village !!  Very, very little happens here, so... that's kind of big news !!  hopefully nobody has been hurt !!  I'll see if the girls saw anything as they went into town....... You can tell nothing happens here, by the fact that I'm writing about it !!  Ho-hum........

This Saturday - it's the village 'May Fair' - I really hope it stops raining by then, or else it will be a wash out !!  I kid you not - the roads around here, even tho' it was hot yesterday, are still running with water !!  The fields are so wet, the rain is just running off the top & into the drains.  Best get the life raft out, I suppose !!

No really - it's not funny for some of the people in our area - there has been a lot of flooding around & about.  Mind you - if we get flooded - the village will be underwater !!  We live right on the top (very near at least) of the hill.... so, the village will be completely flooded before it gets to us !!  Onwards......

The plans for tonight are very small.... in fact, I have nothing sorted out at all !!  It will be a very quiet night here in the homestead. Maybe a little TV & then off to bed... such excitement !!  So - with nothing else to write about - I will away for now & bid you a good night !! Thank you all for reading... until next time..
