Lot's of pressy's !!

Well "Hello" World's !!

It's a very wet & wild Friday - here in old England.... I don't know why I say that !! "Old England" - after all, everywhere on this 3rd rock from the Sun, is approximately the same age, so....

Nevermind, it's a Friday & it's wet outside - again !! Oh well... it hasn't been too bad over the last few days. I know some places, around the country, have had a really bad time of it.. with high winds & rain - bad, it seems to have missed us !! Mind you - we did have a rough spell of it, a few days back, so.... it must of moved on by.....

Enough of the weather forecast !!

"The Family !!"

As it's been Christmas - I'm very happy to say - all of the family have been here together, over the last few days. J came home from Uni & with ME not having to work on Christmas Day..... well, it has meant a lot, to have everyone, here, under the same roof..... especially at this special time of the year !!

At this very moment - B is having a rest (on the bed).... after a very hectic few days of cooking & looking after us all, bless her !! To have the whole family together - well, it has meant a heck of a lot, to all of us - B especially so !! So - she is having a well deserved rest !!

Up in his room.... J is getting some stuff together, to take back to Uni - tomorrow.... and ME is working. She did a late yesterday & an early this morning - so, I expect her to be tired when she gets home !! Oh well - the joys of working hard - I remember it well !!

So - apart from the cats... that's the family !! It has been great to be all together again !!

As for me... well, I had to go down to the surgery, this morning - to have another dressings change & that - as always - hurt like hell !! Over the last few days, the pain has increased quite a lot - so much so, that I tried calling my doctor, a few minutes ago, to see if he had any recommendations.... unfortunately, he is away now, until
Monday !! Bummer !! I will have to deal with it - I'm sure I can get by.... even if it means a little bit of OD'ing on the pills !!

I did feel quite guilty, on Christmas day....... as one of the nurses had to come out, to the house here, to change the dressings !! Honestly - it has got to some sort of point, when nurses have to come out, on one of the most important days of the year, just to sort me out !! Oh well.... I can't thank them enough, for all that they have done, for me, over the last few months !! Bless them.....

As for Christmas Day itself - it really was a wonderful day.... well, I thought so !! Apart from all of the family being here - plus M, in the evening - the gifts were flowing well..... for me, lots of Cd's & stuff..... not to mention a couple of big pressy's from everyone !!

J gave me some of my all time favourite "sweets" and various things.... all of which I really do appreciate ...... but, I was also spoilt by being given a "Blue-ray " player from ME & M - to help me watch my 2 Blue-ray discs !! Add to all of the above - B gave me a 100w iPod docking station....... and that will certainly come in handy !! I tell you all - I have been well spoilt !!

The Cd's - well... I sort of bought them, for myself.... as part of my Christmas gifts !! We went up to Weston, to pick J up (from the railway station) and - to kill time - we went around the shops, including one of the better Cd shops, in the area !! I'll write about them, the various Cd's, over the coming weeks - there are too many to write about them, tonight !!

For now... I will away !! I know this is only short - but, I'm a little too tired to write much more..... the words on the screen are merging together & that's not good !!
