Led Zeppelin MSG July 28th 1973 Ho-hum !!

Greetings World's !!

It's a very warm & windy day, here in the South-West of England.... sitting here, beside our rear windows, the Sun is blasting it's way thru' the curtains !! I'm kind of glad the curtains are always closed.... it would be way too hot otherwise !!

I was up in J's old room... yesterday (I think) and it was baking hot - it made me realise why he (J) used to keep his curtains closed, for most of the time. Anyways - I closed the curtains & the temperature went down.... really quickly - I was quite amazed by it !! It's something I will have to bear in mind....

..... as J doesn't seem to be coming back again - I will use his room, as my "Man Cave" !! B has her "Craft Cave" - so, as she is happy there & doesn't want the extra space, that goes along with J's room..... I'm going to take it over !!

I had great plans, building a model railway, out in the garage.... but, now there is a spare room - I will, at some point, start work there !! I'll have to decide what to do with all of the stuff, that is in there, at the moment.... but, I'm in no hurry !!

Talking about B... My Wife & Dearest & Friend... is sat, just over to my left, watching a TV show, that I recorded last night. It's all about sweets & how to make them..... part 3 of 4 was on, last night.

It's quite funny - because B didn't want me, to record it... at all !! But - she enjoys watching it, sooooo I'm glad I actually programmed it into the recorder !! My darling Wife, is a fantastic cook - so, maybe, I'll have some new treats to eat.... at some point !! Time will tell, I guess...

Being a Saturday - we went into town, a little earlier - to do some shopping & take in one of B's favourite stores...... where she bought herself a bundle of craft supplies !! She wasn't going to - but, I talked her into it..... to explain !!

As mentioned before - no doubt - on Tuesday, next week - I am heading into the Somerset Court House, where I will officially be declared bankrupt.... bummer !!

So - with that in mind - I told B, she had a choice.... buy herself some craft stuff now.... or wait, until after Tuesday - when, more than likely, I will sooooo broke - she won't be able to buy anything at all !! It kind of makes sense to me - in a warped sort of way !! Oh well....

I have to be, at the Court House, at 9am, on Tuesday..... that's almost the middle of the night !! No - I'm really joking..... but, for me - that's kind of early !! Luckily - it's only in Taunton - so, I won't have to be up too early !!

I have to take all of my paper work with me - and then, if the Judge feels I have a case, he will "rubber stamp" my file & that's about it... well, apart from being broke & stuff !! It has been one hell of a year, really.....

Today - being the 23rd - it is almost one whole year, since I came home, from the hospital - after my 3 month stay !! I hadn't really thought too much about it... but, it's been a really strange 12 months !!

I'm sat here, attached to a "vac pump" - just as I was, when I first came home !! It's been 12 months... yet, apart from a few changes.... I'm not much further along now, as I was all that time ago !! That's not really true - my back wound has got smaller - but, I'm still not 100% fighting fit !! Oh well....

There have been some other changes.... so, if you want to find out more - double back, over my blog & see for yourself, how things have gone..... !!

As for the music of the moment... well, it's a funny one...

It's a 3 Cd Led Zeppelin bootleg - which, according to the label, was recorded in 1975. The trouble with that is - it's a 1973 set list.... making it, from about July 28th 1973 !! Somebody, someplace, has labelled it all wrong.... not to worry, the tracks are:

It's a really good, soundboard recording.... and, as often as I tell you all "don't buy bootlegs" - sometimes, boots like this come along & really take you on a "trip" !! Ok - I know there is an official recording, taken from (probably) part of this show.... but - the bootleg recording really does have a bit more atmosphere going for it !!  Just don't buy bootlegs - buy the official stuff instead !!

Going back, to my post - yesterday - I was really in a low spot.... and, it really did piss me off, to read about my Ex family.... and how they pretend that their Son, almost didn't exist !! He was a great guy - it's a shame that somebody, someplace, can't come to terms with the fact, that they are just afraid to admit things...

Mainly that they are bigots !! They are still living in the 18th C - where mental illness is something to be swept, under a carpet & not to be admitted - not to be admitted, that things can happen to their family !! Jerks !!

I lived with them... I saw how they were - first hand.... bloody jerks.... really, that's all I can say !! Sooooo, I'm sorry, that my post, yesterday, was a bit of a downer - but, I really was in a bad place... !!

Talking of "bad places"... in a while, the district nurse is coming around to see me.... again !! That's twice, in 2 days !! To explain...

Yesterday morning, the nurse came around & changed my dressings... all well & good. But, today - for some reason - things have gone wrong & the dressings need doing again !! Not good.... !!

So - B 'phoned the hospital, about going in there - to see a nurse & getting the dressing changed - that's a "no-no"... so, the nurse is coming here - on her ways home.

It seems that one of them lives a short distance from here & is just going to pop in.... as she passes the door !! That's nice of her - after going into town, this morning - I didn't really want to go back again, this afternoon !!

I'm not really sure, what has happened - but, it will be good to get it changed... it's hurting too much, for my liking, at least !! Besides - it will give me a little bit more pain, to help me thru' the rest of the day !! Only joking folks....... it does hurt - but, it has to be done, so there is very little I can do about that !!

There was just a soft "thud" against the window !! Archie - our youngest kitten.... well, baby cat - has just tried to jump onto the window ledge & banged his head, against the glass.... falling backwards, into the garden !! I opened the door & he looked at me, with dirt, all over his face, where he had nose dived into the soil !! Bless him !!

Right - my plans, for the rest of the day.... I don't really know !! It will depend on what time the nurse gets here, I guess...... I do have some black CD's to record, putting some old tapes, onto disc. I don't really want to start doing them - until the nurse has been..... I don't really like having to stop - part ways thru' !!

So - I will just sit back & read a book, until things get sorted out. Hopefully - that won't take too long !! Time will tell.....
