RIP Robin Williams......

Greetings World's !!

I hope your day is going better than mine !! It's a Tuesday afternoon, here in England - about 3pm.... and I've done a very stupid thing - I will come back to that, in little while... first, the family !!

B is here, with me... doing a bit of housework.... I think she is heading this way, with a vacuum cleaner in hand, after doing the bedrooms. As it's just the 2 of us living here, at the moment, the house is nowhere as untidy, as it used to be !!

Long time readers will know - ME - our Daughter... has moved into her own place, with partner M (the M & M's place !!)... and our Son - J - is over in Wales, doing his Uni. course. Well - he's over in Wales.... I have no idea when his course starts !!

B had a couple of "nasty" texts from him, over the last couple of days..... and he seems to want to be left alone. That's fine, by me - but, I don't quite understand why he is sooooo angry, with his Mum !! To be honest - I don't give a shit about his hatred of me..... but, there is no need to take it out on his Mum !!

I had the idea, to send him over some cash.... I thought he could use it.... but, the texts that he has send B - well, there is no need of that !! I do intend, to send him some more - incase he needs anything, but.... I don't send him things, to make him angry.... I send him cash, because he is my Son !! I'm not sure if that makes any sense at all... ?! Oh well.... life goes on...

Unfortunately - that leads me onto the news, today, that Robin Williams has died, possibly by his own hand. He will be really missed - especially, possibly more so, by those of us, who grew up with 'Mork & Mindy' !! Add to that - his many films.... our favourite, probably, being 'The Fisher King'  - the brilliant Terry Gilliam film !!

I believe he was 63..... RIP "Mr Funny Man" !!

B was here, a short while ago... she has now headed down to the village, to post some mail off to J. Hopefully, when he gets it - he won't be so pissed at B !! It is my idea to send it... so, be pissed with me, if you have to be pissed at anyone !!

I came to hear Gov't Mule.... well - I couldn't get my head around what the band were about !! Then, after buying the live 'Deepest End' set - after that, the lights went on & it all made a lot of sense to me !! Ok - it took me a while - but, now that I understand the various "ups & downs" with the band.... they have become firm favourites, to both of us, I think !!

As I type - the fantastic Effigy' is playing.... brilliant !! Give them a listen... you will not be disappointed !!

Ok - going back, to the top of the page.... I've been stupid !! To explain.... or try to...

My friend, from South America, was here - in the village - and he came around to see me. We talked about music & as I trusted him, he took some of my Cd's away with him.... on the promise, he would bring them back, on Sunday - before leaving to fly home.

Well - it's now Tuesday afternoon & - guess what - no Cd's !!

I've not loaned anybody, anything, for sooooo many years - mainly as I was always let down, with stuff either coming back late, damaged, or in some cases - completely disappearing !! So - despite a promise, that they would be returned on Sunday.... them an e-mail, promising his Mum, would bring them around yesterday + B, going to his Mum's house, this afternoon, to collect the discs..... I'm still sat here.... waiting !!

This is why, I haven't loaned anything out for years.... and, now, I've been shit on..... again !! Some people will take you for a ride - others will just let you down. I don't know what to think, at the moment - I'm just very pissed off, about the whole bloody thing !! Why make a promise - if you don't intend keeping it ?!

Oh well... enough moaning !!

I must be on my ways - things to do & all night to do them in.... well, sort of !!
