I'm really being mean today.... not !!

Greetings World's !!

IT's another Monday, here in England...... looking out of the window, it's not really too brilliant outside !! We went into town, earlier & it was quite warm - just a little damp !! Nevermind..... it's unusual for me, to go to town so early, but.... !!

I had to go down to the surgery, about 10 - so, we went straight in from there........ after upsetting the surgeries 'Practice Manager' !! To explain....

A while back, I complained about a receptionist, talking about people, while in a village shop. When I did that, the 'PM' asked, if I could tell her first, about anything I had to complain about. Sooooo - today, I wrote her letter - saying how pissed off I was, about the receptionist, who last week, gave away my personal details to a nurse in the hospital, without my permission.

I asked that all staff be told the correct procedure, when answering 'phone calls from an unknown person. Plus, I has asked for a written apology from the receptionist. Plus - as for compensation, I've asked for £10 to be paid to the local Air Ambulance !! Nothing out of the way - but, I feel the receptionist was wrong & I deserve all of the above !! She was not a happy person..... !! Oh well - I'll see what happens !!

Anyhoo - after my dressing was done, we went into town.... to put some cash in the bank, plus to pick up some odds & ends in the supermarket. Nothing too exciting.... until we were heading towards my main "target" of the trip.

This is where I become "really being mean today" !! To explain again.......

As our Son J cannot bring himself, to visiting here - even tho' he's meeting B, in Taunton..... about 10 miles away..... I've decided enough is enough & I've sent him the prices of 2 self storage companies, here in town. I'm pissed off of having all of his stuff here - especially as he will not give me a clue, as to when he's likely to come & collect it all !!

Sooooo - given as he hates my guts, given that he can not bring himself to visit here or want to meet up with me, well f**k it all !! I've taken care of his bits & bobs, since he went to Uni, about 2 years ago - now.... it's his turn to look out for himself. He wants to be independent - well.... he can pay the £1000 per year, to look after his stuff & I can have his room back to being usable !! I really am mean...... !!

When he gets the letter I've just written, I'm guessing some fit will go thru' the sham....... but, that's life & after all the crap I've gone thru' - this past 2+ years.... I've had enough of being "Mr Nice Guy" !!

As for the rest of the family...

B is upstairs, doing some craft things, in her craft cave...... I'm not sure what exactly, but - I guess I'll find out, at some point !! That just leaves the M & M's - who I've not seen for a while.

We were going to pop over, the other night - but as we didn't know who was home & we couldn't get any answers to our messages, we gave up on that idea. We had a couple of things for them.... but that can wait - it was nothing special, it'll keep.

So - that just leaves the music of the moment !!

Thinking about it - today is the first day, since the Friday - 2 weeks ago - that I've played the big system !! I've got very used to listening to the mini Egg, that it has seemed very strange, playing stuff thru' the Bose & Wharfedale's !! Really, really loud...... Life is good !!

Right - my plans for today......

Well, I want to double check some measurements, up in J's old room. I'm going to put a bundle of shelves up - on at least one wall & I need to make sure the rails, that I'm thinking about buying, will actually fit. They should - but, at 198 cm, well.... I want to double check things. It wouldn't be a lot of good, trying to put stuff on the wall, only to find things are a way bit too long !! Time will tell on that one, I guess...

Also - I have a few e-mails to catch up on..... with being stuck in hospital for the past couple of weeks, I've got all behind.... nevermind. I must go - hopefully, tomorrow, I'll have the first of the latest bunch of albums, that I've ordered....... I can't wait for some of them.... the rest ? Well.... I'll see what they are like !!
