There once was a burglary... oh well.... !!

Greetings !!

It's a warm & windy Tuesday, here in England.... actually, I've not been outside today - sooooo, I'm only guessing at the state of the weather !! I went out yesterday & I have to venture out tomorrow - so, what the heck !!

I'm fibbing !! I did go out this morning.... I had to have another blood test, so that meant a trip to the Dr's surgery. I had forgotten all about that !! Mind you - it was about 8.30 this morning, so it seems a long time ago now........ heck, 8.30 in the morning - it's a wonder my blood was even prepared to come out of my system, at that early hour !!

I do smile - everytime the nurses take blood, from my arms..... they will always say "sharp scratch" or whatever - but, my arms are sooooo buggered from years of needles going into me, I honestly do not feel anything, other than a little bit of pressure, when the needle gets pushed in !! I guess it's better than being made to squirm each time a needle comes near me !!

I do get fed up with the things they use, to put things into my arm...... sometimes it takes forever, for the person to get it right !! On my last stay, I told the Dr to stop - he had completely messed up & was just pushing the needle into me, then taking it part ways out, before having another go !! Honestly - it didn't really hurt - it was just a pain, as he kept messing around !! My arm is still full of bruises, even now, 2 weeks later !! Oh well.......

As I type, B is over to my left... we've just had our evening meal & now we're (kind of) watching episode 4 of season 5 of 'Game Of Thrones'. I've managed to watch all of the episodes, from the start of season 1...... a really great way to spend a few hours !!

Anyways - back to the family. Earlier today, ME was here for a few hours, as always, it's brilliant to see her !! I showed her a copy of the letter, that I wrote to J - I'm in not in B's good books,
at the moment !!

According to B - it seems like I've not given him any choice, concerning his stuff !! Oh well..... maybe I'm not - but, on the other hand.... he's had 2 years of "choice" - now it's time to make his mind up !! Does he want to have his cake & eat it.... or, at his age, does he want to start taking some kind of responsibility, for what - after all - will be his life ?! I'm fucked if I know......

B's dad just called...... thankfully, I didn't speak to him - I'm getting too old for his shit !! Oh well.....

I've missed out the various stage banter tracks..... but, one point of interest is Taj Mahal joining the band on 'Statesboro Blues' - it's well good !! Lots of good music to get my ears into !!

I'm not playing the concerts in any order - just as I pick them out of the box..... it's a bit more interesting that ways - as I can't remember whats coming next !! Life is good......

Tomorrow, if all goes well - I might just have some of the new Cd's reach me !! I doubt it.... they always seem to take forever to reach me, once they've been paid for !! Nevermind - I'm out tomorrow anyways, sooooo !!

As I've probably written before, I have to go down to Exeter, to see the plastic surgeons again. That should be a fun trip.... oh well, it's not going to be too bad. I have no intentions of staying, so he can go back 10 yards & punt, if he thinks that's going to happen !! I'll let you know how things go - maybe on Thursday, if all goes well.....

Right, for now, I must be on my ways.... I need to have an early night & get rested up, for the 100 mile round trip tomorrow. It's fairly easy - just a trip down the motorway & then into the outskirts of the city. I would like to drive myself one day - but, until I get some feeling back into my legs - that's not really a good idea !! Maybe soon...... I'll see what the surgeons have to say, in the coming months or years !!

I must go.... I thank you all, for taking the time, to log in & read my words. I'm over the Moon, that despite being away from the keypad, while being stuck in hospital for the 10 days or so..... well, it's brilliant that you hung in there, with me - until I could start writing again !!
