It's a Sunday here in good o' England & the music of the moment is Queensryche's latest 'Dedicated To Chaos' That really does sound like they have been in our kid's rooms !! No matter how old they get, the mess seems to still be there - never mind.... one day they might move out & we'll wonder what to do with the space !!
Talking of the kids... J is upstairs, & ME is out at work today - B (my Wife & Dearest Friend) is at this very moment cleaning up her room....... "why ?" I ask - there has to be some logic there I've missed... never mind.
It's a quiet day to day - we went out to Church this morning, we had to leave earlier than I would of liked, but I was 'fading' fast - still it was nice to go again..... we've missed a few weeks, so........ !!
Here is something for you all to think about !! There are about 20 or so 'children' at the Church & I like to take a packet of 'sweets' for them..... especially the little ones, bless them. So, today, I took a packet of 25 lollipops - enough for one each - or so I thought !! One family spoilt it for the others by taking so many, that the other kids went with-out !! One 12 year old had 4 in his hand + one in his mouth !! How tight is that ?
It all comes back to greed & - I feel - the way they're brought up at home !! We're meant to be an example to our children - so........... !! Next time, I'm going to keep the 'sweets' with me & make sure they get one each - why should some go with-out simply because others are spoilt brats !! Never mind - life goes on.....
Enough moaning - for now - it's going to be a very quiet, lazy afternoon for me. I'm finding it very hard to sleep at night at the moment, so I'm going to rest up for the rest of the day. As I say, a lazy sort of day !!
