Greetings Worlds !!
I've just logged in & found that - thanks to you guys... my readers - I have once again beaten my all time page reads this month !! I thank you all for taking the time... not just to read my words, but... well, the fact you keep coming back, to read more !!
Ok - it's a bright & windy Saturday, here in England.... B is - as I type - is out by the front of the house, cleaning the window. I keep making "rude" faces at her.... trying to put her off, so far it hasn't worked !! She was going up the extension ladder, to do our bedroom window..... but, as it's windy, I talked her out of that !! She hates going too high on the ladder, as it is, with-out all the wind that's blowing around out there !!
J has been out there, already - cutting the big hedge a bit... giving it a little trim across the top. I know our neighbour hates the hedge... but, it's part of our property & I like it the way it is.... it gives us a bit of privacy !! Oh well... it's no big thing....
Earlier, B & I went into town to do some shopping..... I didn't plan on going, but.... my friend from S. America couldn't make it over today - so, instead of staying home, I went along for the ride !! As it was... I really messed up..... to explain....
We had been around the super market & were at the till.....but, when it came time to pay the bill, the card that I gave B was refused !! Mad, embarrassed panic ensued.... and B found another card to pay for the groceries !! It turned out - when we got back to the car - I had given her the wrong card !! I had given her a savings a/c card - instead of a regular a/c card... hence it was refused !! My bad..... but, I'm glad we worked out what was wrong !! For a little while we were really worried about why the card had been refused !!
So - that was a bit of a mess up, on my part.... and luckily, we sorted it all out in the end !! As I say - my bad !!
So - apart from ME... who is working today... that's the family. The music of the moment is by Neil Young. It's one of the concerts I was given yesterday, by my friend....... it's really good !! An audience recorded concert, from August 9 that happened at Lake Tahoe, Nevada.... I think ?! Not really sure - but, it's very good.
I also have another 1971 concert by Zeppelin. This one is called 'Smoke Gets In Your Eyes' & is again, from Osaka. So, from September 29th 1971, the tracks are:

It was the last night of the 1971 tour of Japan & I love this show - one of my all time favourites from the tour.... It's all a bit mad... but, a great concert all the same. As always - don't buy bootlegs !! I've seen this particular boot for sale at record fairs, for upwards of £65 !! It's crazy - buy the official stuff instead !!
I see on the news, that they have found the 15 year old girl & her 30 year old teacher.... some place to the South of France. I think she'll be brought back to England, at some time, today..... it's all a bit
weird !! The guy should of known, not to run off with a 15 year old girl - but, from the pictures they showed on TV - it didn't look like she went too much against her will !!
I guess he'll get into all kinds of trouble over this - which, I agree, he should.... but, I'm also guessing - the girl - will sell her story to the national newspapers.... Time will tell - but, the guy should not of done it !!
Right - my plans for today.... Well, I'm going to watch the MotoGP qualifying, that is on TV.... I want to see how well the British riders do, ahead of tomorrows race !! We have some great riders in the mix at the moment & I enjoy watching the racing !!
Staying with motor sport - I see MR Hamilton is joining another F1 team next year !! I guess he didn't get what he wanted, with his current team, so he's on the move !! Never mind - as long as JB stays, we don't mind too much..... I think I will be opting out of my Mercedes Newsletter - which I get..... I don't really like Mr H at all, so.... I don't really want to read about the guy !!
Talking about News type things... I've just had my Time mag come in the post.... I won't behaving that one next year !! I find it too bias in it's views on the rest of the World.... never mind..... I won't miss it !!

Bermuda Backlash & Gov't Mule !!
Greetings Worlds !!
A big "Hello" to my readers in Russia & China... I thank you for logging in today !! Plus all of the rest of you - from all around the World.... It's great to know you're there & taking the time to read my words !!
Ok - it's Friday, here in England... and as I type, I'm more or less on my own. J - our Son - is upstairs, but B.... my Wife & Dearest Friend has just gone across the road, to help a neighbour. So - that just leaves ME - our Daughter - who is having a day off from work & has just gone into town, to meet up with M (her boyfriend0 on his lunch break.
So - that's all of the family...... oh, I forgot... we have a new
member !! As I wrote, yesterday, the guys all went into town, to have a look at the fair. Well, they came home with a goldfish - so, the fish.... now known as Colin... is the latest member of the family !! I'm not 100% sure what the 3 cats make of this newcomer.... but......
Anyhoo - it's not the first fish we've had from the fair... and usually, they don't live too long, but... he/she/it has it's bowl to swim around in & seems to be settling in quite well..... oh well !!
I was going to have my mate over this morning.... but, after a really bad night, I asked him to cancel..... which he did. That was nice of him.... what was even nicer... well, altho' I wasn't well enough for a visit - he still looked in & dropped off a bunch of Cd's for me to listen to !! More music... "Yippeee !!".
So - I now have some new concerts by Springsteen & Neil Young, in the collection.... all from their most recent tours !! Great stuff... tho' - as yet - I've not given them a listen !!
I've been on a bit of a Gov't Mule blitz this morning.... playing stuff from their 'Deepest End' & 'The Deep End' Cd's.... I don't play the studio stuff enough - it's really good.... tho' it took 'The Deepest End' collection, for me to really understand the band !! That took too many years - but, I'm now hooked on them !!
The music of the moment is Blackmore's Knight 'Live In Paris' set from a few years or more back.... We were watching a Deep purple video & the band were really moaning about Ritchie Blackmore... but, I've always enjoyed his music - no matter how he is personally !! He actually comes from not too far from here... so, maybe I'm a little bias !!
As mentioned - I had a not so good night... I got really fed up with it all & by 2.30 this morning, I had had enough !! Luckily the Dr's have given me some stuff, to help me sleep & that really is a blessing on nights like that !!
Never mind.... there are always other people worse off....
Going back a few hours.... last evening, 2 of the Missionaries came around for a visit. Including one we had never met before..... He is from New Zealand & seemed a great guy, very down to Earth & not too far up in the clouds !! I'm not sure if we'll see him again - this isn't really his area - but, they are always welcome to drop in !!
Nothing was really said, about going to The Temple.... so, in a way, that was a bit of a relief !! But, I'm sure it will come up again at some point !! Ho-hum.......
As I type - I'm making a DVD copy of 'Almost An Angel'... a great Paul Hogan film, from quite a few years ago & one of my favourites by
him !! Hopefully, at some point, I will find it on DVD - but, for now - I will make do with this copy.... It is very funny tho' & always makes me smile !!

As some of you will know, I have had connections with Bermuda... many, many Moons ago. Well - I've been catching up on what has been happening over there, from The Royal Gazette newspaper - it's amazing how things have gone !!
When I used to visit, it always seemed a great place, for a holiday - not so much to live..... I always got a little "rock happy" after a few weeks.... it is a small place !! Anyhoo - now, from what I'm reading, there is a really nasty side to the place..... it's hard to comprehend really !!
I've been gob-smacked to read about, how they are holding food collections... not for any "Third World Country"... but, for the people who live on the islands & can't afford enough food !! That's just crazy !! But.... and I don't mean this to sound too "nasty"... but, many of the people I know in Bermuda, seemed to think they were immune to what happened in the rest of the World..... in many ways, I'm quite pleased that - either the World has caught up with the place.... or, that Bermuda has realised it's own limitations !!
Ok - my plans for the rest of the day.... none at all !! I'm going to rest up & give it a bit of down time !! I'm just going to kick back & rest up a wee bit !! B should be home in a little while - so, I guess she might have some plans - but, as yet, I don't really know what they are !!
Anyhoo - I will away & wait for "The Bermuda Backlash" to hit me.... I'm sure it will.... but, for now - as always, I thank you for logging in & taking the time to read my words.... until next time...

A Fun Fair & The Unknown !!
Greetings Worlds !!
Once again - it's Thursday !! I had to double check.... I wasn't sure if I got the day wrong.... Yep, definitely a Thursday !! It's been a very hectic day, so far....
I had to go unto town this morning, to meet the guy at the clinic thingy. It seems to have gone well - it must be doing some good - he wants to see me again, next Thursday - so, hopefully, I'm not wasting his time !! My time doesn't really count - I'd go anyways... but - with me there, he might be missing some one more important !!
Anyhoo - that was 11.30 this morning....... it's now 2 hours later & I'm "home alone" !! More or less, as soon as we got in, B & the guys, went right back into town....leaving me here to listen to music & write these to you, my readers around the World.
It's "Fair Week" in town.... & I think ME wanted to go in & have a look around the various stalls & stuff. J just went along for the ride - which is good.... he needs to get out more !!
The Fair comes once a year.... I don't actually like the thing - too many people & too much junk on sale. But, the guys like going - so, poor old B gets dragged along !! Never mind - as long as she isn't expected to go the rides (it's a funfair as well as a market thingy).... well - they will be back in an hour or so !!
Leaving me - to sort myself out... as we're having another set of Church visitors this afternoon. They will be her, sometime around 4.30pm..... usually they're late... but, it's no big deal !!
Last nights visit went pretty well, tho'... there are still some questions I would like answers to !! I have no problem in the fact that we're being given the chance to go to Temple.... my problem is, no one will tell us what to expect when we get there !!
I'm very set in my ways - I want to know more about what to expect, before I agree to go.... rather than seems to be the way !! That way being -"You're find out when you get there" - which is a bit dumb, as far as I'm concerned !!
What happens, if - when I get to the Temple - I don't want to do what is expected of me ?! 4 years ago - I wouldn't of minded so much - but, now... after waiting for sooooo long... well, I think I'm entitled to some answers !! We might be members of The Church... but, first & foremost, I'm me & I don't like unknowns !!
Oh well... maybe I'll get some answers tonight.... we'll have to wait & see...... onwards !!
The music of the moment is a 4 Cd set by Page & Plant.... taken from their 1996 concerts in Japan. I haven't played it in a long while - I forgot how good (and bad) it is in places !! It's all worth having in the collection tho'....

A Wet Day & Talking Heads.... + Kermit !!
Hi again Worlds !!
We've just spend 5 minutes watching Kermit The Frog singing Talking heads 'Once In A Lifetime'... it was brilliant !!
As I type, B is here, behind me baking a bunch of cakes, J is upstairs doing whatever he does.... and ME is at work...... it's pouring down with rain & I'm glad I'm in the house !!
It's been a quiet, busy day here in the homestead.... B went into town earlier, to meet up with her moaning Cousin, so - I took the chance to give the living room a bit of a clean over. J had to help me move stuff around.... but, as we're having visitors later, I thought I would save B a bit of time !!
As mentioned yesterday - some guys from Church are paying us a visit tonight.... that should be fun !! Plus, we're having more visitors tomorrow afternoon - so, by attacking the living room... it's given B a chance to skip it !! We're see how long it stays clean..... !!
Also - tomorrow.... I have to go & meet up with the guy again.... see last weeks post & the week before.... so, it's given the both of us a little bit of space !! Not the right word... but.... I know what I mean !!
The music of the moment are the Talking Heads 'live' Cd's.... which I did years ago, from their video... as yet, I've not picked up the DVD of the show... so, I make do with the Cd's !! They came out pretty well....
It's all good.....
So little has happened today, so I've not much to write about !! I don't even have a Zeppelin concert to list !! Bummer !!

From Jonathan & Charlotte to Pink Floyd, Joe Bonamassa & other stuff....
Hello Worlds !!
How has the Internet Universe been treating you today ? It's another Tuesday, here in the wilds of England.... a bit on the cold side, with more than a little rain to go with it - but, nothing too exciting !!
Parts of the country have been having floods & really bad weather - so, compared to that, we've been pretty lucky so far, I guess. Anyways - onwards !!
I've done next to nothing today..... I've not been lazy, just haven't been in the mood to do very much, that's all !! I landed up, yesterday, sleeping for quite a bit, in the afternoon... and, the same thing nearly happened today !! But, rather than give in, to my bodies lack of "get up & go"... well, I just stayed here in the living room !! I put some old videos in & transferred them over to disc & basically chilled out for the day !!
As I type - I'm recording the old 'Gum-ball Rally' film... I honestly don't know how old it is.... but, we've had it for years.... so, unless I can find it on DVD some place, this copy will do !! Oh well....
As for the family.... B has just gone out to help at Weight Watchers & will be home in an hour or two... J is here, upstairs, keeping an eye on me... which just leaves ME, who is working today. She has just had 3 days off, now she has to work today & tomorrow !! Hopefully, she will be home around 9pm !!
So - with everybody "doing their own thing"... it just leaves me here typing these words & listening to the Pink Floyd 1975 concert.... which I mentioned over the last few days !! It is a great copy of the concert tho' - it will get lots of plays over the coming weeks !!
I don't have any Zeppelin concerts from today... but, in a day or two, things will be back on track !! So - more later in the week.....
Tomorrow night, we're having some friends over, from Church.... their first visit in more than a little while !! It will be good to see them again tho'....... and I'll get to know more about our chances of going to Temple, at some point !!
Then - on Thursday - we're having more Church visitors... this time, the two Missionaries..... not the new ones, the lads who have been here for quite a while now.
So - after going, what seems like, for ages.... we're having 2 sets of visitors, from The Church, in two days !! I know this is all leading some place - probably, as I've said before... with a trip to Temple, but it all seems a little too much, too soon..... !!
Having not heard anything, about being allowed to go to Temple, in 4 years... well, it does seem a little rushed at the moment !! Life will go on.... no matter what, but... I'm not holding my breath about it
all !!
Just going back, to music & to yesterday..... B's latest birthday pressy reach her safely !! It was a Cd by a couple called Jonathan & Charlotte & the Cd (which came out yesterday) is called 'Together'. It seems like these two were on a talent show, of some sort.... but, the first time I saw anything of them, was on Breakfast TV, last week.
I could see from B's face, she liked what she heard by the two of them... so, the Cd has been added to her list of birthday pressy's !!
Now then - I like music, from rock thru' to whatever.... but, these two can really sing !! I would recommend this Cd to anyone - it's a little on the short side, but it's well good & worth your money !!
Also, yesterday... I had the official Joe Bonamassa 'Live At The Beacon Theatre' come thru' - as yet, I've hardly played it !! From what I've listen to, so far, it's pretty much like the DVD soundtrack, that I did for myself, a few months back !! But, as always - it's worth having the official Cd's of the show.......
Right - my plans for tonight..... well.... I'm going to get an early night, being as we are having visitors tomorrow night !! I don't want to be falling asleep while they're here !! That would not be very good really.... a bit rude... !!

How has the Internet Universe been treating you today ? It's another Tuesday, here in the wilds of England.... a bit on the cold side, with more than a little rain to go with it - but, nothing too exciting !!
Parts of the country have been having floods & really bad weather - so, compared to that, we've been pretty lucky so far, I guess. Anyways - onwards !!
I've done next to nothing today..... I've not been lazy, just haven't been in the mood to do very much, that's all !! I landed up, yesterday, sleeping for quite a bit, in the afternoon... and, the same thing nearly happened today !! But, rather than give in, to my bodies lack of "get up & go"... well, I just stayed here in the living room !! I put some old videos in & transferred them over to disc & basically chilled out for the day !!
As I type - I'm recording the old 'Gum-ball Rally' film... I honestly don't know how old it is.... but, we've had it for years.... so, unless I can find it on DVD some place, this copy will do !! Oh well....
As for the family.... B has just gone out to help at Weight Watchers & will be home in an hour or two... J is here, upstairs, keeping an eye on me... which just leaves ME, who is working today. She has just had 3 days off, now she has to work today & tomorrow !! Hopefully, she will be home around 9pm !!
So - with everybody "doing their own thing"... it just leaves me here typing these words & listening to the Pink Floyd 1975 concert.... which I mentioned over the last few days !! It is a great copy of the concert tho' - it will get lots of plays over the coming weeks !!
I don't have any Zeppelin concerts from today... but, in a day or two, things will be back on track !! So - more later in the week.....
Tomorrow night, we're having some friends over, from Church.... their first visit in more than a little while !! It will be good to see them again tho'....... and I'll get to know more about our chances of going to Temple, at some point !!
Then - on Thursday - we're having more Church visitors... this time, the two Missionaries..... not the new ones, the lads who have been here for quite a while now.

Pink Floyd, Church & Wet Weather !!
Well Greetings Worlds !!
How is your bit of Internet space treating you today ?! It's been a very wet & windy night, here in England !! The reports, from around the County, have trees down, roads flooded & train lines washed underwater !! Not good - so, as I have nothing better to do, I'm staying here in the warm...
Actually - that's not 100% true. I'm expecting a parcel today.... and as they couldn't give me an exact time of arrival, I have to wait for it. No big deal - I knew it was coming, so I didn't plan to do very much.
B has gone into town tho' - mainly to put some cash in the bank & go to the gym...... she couldn't decide on when to go, so went for an early morning trip - rather than later on. By early morning - it's about 10.30am here, so not too early really !!
As I type - ME & M - who spent the night - are sat on the couch, playing with her new 'ipad' thingy. ME treated herself to it yesterday - out of her first months real pay packet !! A sort of gift to herself, for graduating Uni & getting a job, and everything that goes with it. I don't blame her - she has worked hard to get where she is now !!
They have also just cooked their breakfast - so, the house smells of hot food !! Here's hoping they clean up after themselves...... it's not too bad - just a bit of a mess !!
So - that just leaves J & my good self..... he is upstairs & - as you can tell - I'm here typing these words to you..... onwards !!
The music of the moment is Pink Floyd's 'Live At Hollywood Bowl' concert from 1972. I found this tape, on the net, over the weekend & it's sooooo much better than the old Lp version !! Along with the LA show, from 1975 - well, I've upgraded 2 of my concert collection !!
Also, on TV - I'm recording a video of.... well, I'm not sure what it's called. It's something like 'A Celebration At Big Sur' - or something like that !! Anyhoo - it's a concert thingy, that happened back in 1969 or 1970 and I've had it on video for many years...... so, it's about time I put it onto DVD !!
Yesterday, B & I went over to Church.... and I'm glad we did !! Not only did we have a very productive meeting with the Bishop, but... we have 2 new & extra Missionaries !! To explain.....
Our local Church has expanded so much - not so much in numbers, more in area - so, it's been decided that we have been given, or to give us, 2 extra Missionaries, to help. So, yesterday, the 2 girls introduced themselves & generally said "Hello" to everybody.
The upside of this - apart from 2 new faces - is that the guys, who have been here a little while, have been given a car & can now go & visit people, who like us, live way out of town !! Their first visit to us, will happen on Thursday.... so, that should be good !!
As mentioned - we also had a meeting with the Bishop.... as I guessed, about going up to Temple. We put our views over to him, about how things just haven't happened for us.... and if we were going to go, it would of been a year or so back. Well, thinking about it it - it would of been 4 years back !! Quite a while really !!
In the end - he said he is going to get things moving, for us & see what can be done. As for myself - well, if it happens, it happens.... I am not going to worry myself over it, I really am not !! We've been here before - promises about going to Temple, with-out anything coming of it.... so, I won't hold my breath waiting for it to happen !!
I've kind of put them - The Church - on the spot, over this. I've said, to the Bishop, that - if this is going to happen, I want it to happen very soon. Not only because of wanting to go - but, wanting to go, before my health gets any worse than it is !! I don't think that's too much to ask for ?!
So - we'll see what happens now..... I'm not going to hold my breath & that's for sure.... but, I think, if it doesn't happen this time around.... well, it won't happen !! Time will tell....
I've just changed the music, over to Canned Heat's 'Historical Figures & Ancient Heads' album.... one of my favourites !!
Staying with music... I have another Zeppelin concert, from September 24th 1971 - the bands second night in Tokyo. It's on 3 Cd's & the tracks are:

Two things about this concert.... it's really recorded well !! For an audience recording, it's well good. Plus - altho' I don't have recordings of every concert the band did, this is the only one (that I know of) which has a live version of 'Your Time Is Gonna Come'. It's tucked away in the 'Whole Lotta Love' medley.... but, it's worth having this concert, just for that !!
The Japanese tours have always been some of the best, that I have...... and this one concert must rate very high on my all time play list !! As always, don't buy bootlegs - buy all the official stuff.... more another time !!
Right - my plans for now..... I have to wait for the parcel to reach me, plus I'm hoping a Cd will reach me today, as part of B's birthday gifts. It only came out today - so, hopefully it will get here !! The bad part is - with my brain - I can't remember what it's called !! Oh well....
Last week, the brand new Sandi Thom album got here & B really likes that one. I'm glad she did - I was a bit worried it would be too bluesy for her, but it's gone down well !! Anyhoo - hopefully the new one will get here today.... I'll have to wait & see really !!
So - that's my day.... stay here & wait for the postman....... sounds like a plan really !! it's not much - but, hey... it's all I've got.... until next time....

'Reflections From A Dream' & other stuff.....
Greetings Worlds !!
It's about 11.30am & I'm sat here blasting Pink Floyd thru' the
house !! It's the tape I mentioned last night, which I had put onto Cd's for myself - rather than play the tapes......
More about music later !!
ME is still out, probably with her boyfriend, M.... she spent the night over at his place, so I expect we'll see them later on today. J is here, keeping an eye on me..... mainly as B has gone out & - I think - I put the willies up him yesterday !! To explain.....
As mentioned yesterday... well, late last night....... between us, we fitted the 'new' TV. It was the one that, our neighbour P gave us. Anyhoo - J was kind of concerned yesterday, after I had been in the loft space & done the bit of aerial wiring, that I didn't look too well !!
He actually said "you look like sh*t" !! It's true, I probably did - it wasn't hard work - but, it did take it out of me, just a little bit !! But - the good news is - after climbing around a bit, we now have the TV working well, in our room. Altho' at the time it was given to us, I didn't really know what we were going to do with it - well, it's sat nicely on the chest of drawers & really is a big improvement on the old one !!
Last night, we watched a bit of a film - a DVD - and this morning, B was able to watch one of her cooking shows that she likes.......... it was a great gift !! Even if we do have a spare TV now !! I'm sure we'll find a home for it at some point - it's tucked away, in the loft now - so, it's not going anywhere's !!
The thing we will have to get used to - the new TV has a much bigger screen.... which kind of makes the old one look really small !! It's not that much bigger, it just looks it..... oh well, a nice gift, thanks P !!
I've just had a very panicked B on the 'phone. She couldn't find the bank card !! I knew she had it, as I saw her put it in her bag, before she left home !! Never mind - I called back a few minutes later & she had found it.... he was in her bag, so it probably fell out of the
wallet !! Oh well..... a few minutes of madness there !!
A strange car has pulled up & parked outside of our house.... very weird !! It can't be anybody from our little Close - or else they would of parked away from us.... never mind.
In the post this morning, I had 2 DVD's reach me !! "Yippeeeee !" More movie's to watch !! This time, the films are.... 'The Right Stuff'... which is all bout the first American's into space... and the brilliant 'The Fisher King' !!
The latter stars Robin Williams & Jeff Bridges and was directed by the legend that is Terry Gilliam !! I love that guy's films... I could watch them over & over !! Brilliant stuff - I will enjoy watching them later !!
I'm also going to enjoy watching the F1 qualifying, which starts about 1pm. That means there will be a race on TV tomorrow, so I'll have to record that & watch it another time. Being a Sunday, I hope we will make it to Church - especially as we've not been for the last month !!
If we can go - we'll meet up with our Bishop & discuss the "going to Temple" thing... which seems to be a topic on everybody's minds at the moment, even if it's not really on ours !! It would be good to go - but, I can't see it happening - not now anyways !!
It won't hurt to speak, with the Bishop, about it..... but, I honestly don't think it will go much further than that. But, you never know..... maybe one day - we'll see what happens !! On Monday - I think - we're having a visit from 2 of the guys in Church - so, maybe it might come up then. I will let you know......
As coincidence would have it - I've just had a knock on the door & it was my old college lecture friend.... a Jehovah's Witness. He didn't want to come in - it was just a "flying visit".... so, he'll come back another time, I guess. Onwards & back to music....
This Pink Floyd tape, from Los Angeles 1975, is really good !! I'm kicking myself for not making a Cd of it before !! Never mind - I've got one now - so, at least the tape, if it breaks, won't get completely lost !!

It's really late, but... for what ever reason, I'm in not in the mood to go to sleep !! J was here, just now checking up on me - it's very unlike me, to be done here at 11pm..... but, all is well.
ME is staying tonight at M's house, so with me sat here, that just leaves B...... who is dead to the World tonight, so asleep, that I couldn't wake her, to let her know I was coming back down here !!
Bless her tho' - she has had a very busy day..... dusting & hoovering up, after J & my good self !!
To explain, we fitted up the new TV today - it works really well..... the only draw back, really, was sorting out the aerial !! J offered to do, but as I'm old & uglier than he is, I did it myself.... I didn't even fall thru' the roof into the bedroom !!
No - it wasn't that hard of a job - just, for me, a little awkward, trying to do the wiring into the loft.... we had a little too much insulation up there, which made it a little weird, trying to find the hole, which we made, by sticking a screwdriver up from the bedroom !!
Oh well - it's done now..... &, to be honest, it works really well !!
That took about an hour this morning, so not too long really !! So - this afternoon, I took the chance to look at the Internet for a very short while..... this in turn, reminded me of another tape I have & that then got me going, transferring over to 3 Cd's.
Even if I say it myself... the Cd's came out really well & I wish I had done them before !! I'll give them a better listen tomorrow, but they are the best version of their 1975 Los Angeles show I've ever found !!
Oh well - I best be on my ways...... it is getting late & I do need my beauty sleep, so.. until next time..

A trip to town & other stuff.....
Well "Hello" Again Worlds !!
It's Thursday, here in old England.... it's been a bright sort of day...... I even went out, into town !! "Wow" !!
As I type - J is behind me, washing up the supper dishes.... we tend to eat early here, so I'm not sure if it counts as 'supper' - more like a late 'tea' !! Oh well.... with J here, ME is out at work & B has just gone into town. It's her trip to see her hairdresser........ which is kind of good. I don't mean that in any nasty kind of way !! There was a time B wouldn't get her hair cut, until she really had to (like me)... now, she goes in regular. enough of all of this.... she will be home in about 2 hours I guess, not really sure !!
The music of the moment is some of a Jimi Hendrix 4 Cd box set. B picked it up for me, today & so far, Cd one is pretty good !! I have to be in the right mood, to listen to Mr Jimi.... shame he died sooooo young !! In a week or two, it will be the anniversary of Janis Joplin's death as well !! Two great people, musically speaking, dying so young & so close together.
As mentioned - I went into town today....... a visit to the guy, who I started seeing last Thursday (I think it was Thursday) - anyhoo, today's visit went pretty well, or at least I thought it did !! I've felt pretty poorly for most of the last week, so I wasn't sure how today was going to go, but..... As I said, to the guy, if my appointment had been 2 days ago, I probably wouldn't of made it !!
Never mind - I went, we met & if all goes well, I'll see him again next week.... onwards !!
As mentioned before - I've been taking old videos & putting them onto DVD. well, apart from playing the Hendrix Cd, I've been watching 'Eddie & The Cruisers' !! It's a great little film !!
I first heard about it, when I went to our friend's wedding. It was in Rhode Island & a girl, who was there, had the Lp soundtrack & kindly gave me a copy of it..... when the film came on TV, here in England, I couldn't resist taping it !!
Anyways - I've been making a DVD of it.... then, I found it pretty cheap on Play.com - so, I'll more than likely buy a copy at some point & throw my DVD copy away !! I didn't expect to find it anywhere's.... so, now that I have - why not get a copy !!
I'll check out if they have the soundtrack.... I would love to get a Cd of that !! Not yet tho' - got to pay some bills & the money tree isn't that fruitful at the moment !!
Right what else is happening ?
Well, I found out today, that a lady I'm in contact with (in America) is a big Dr Who fan...... and there was I thinking I was the only one !! It seems like the American TV station, where she lives, has just started showing it again..... great stuff - I'm glad I'm not the only idiot who watches the show !!
B says she is not a fan - but, she'll still sit & watch it with J & I !! Bless her.... each to their own, but Dr Who has been a part of my life, ever since it first started, many (too) many years ago !! it still beats the heck out a lot of other TV Sci-fi !! Well good.......
Oh yes.... I mentioned my friend was over here, from South America. Anyhoo - he was coming over, yesterday morning & I had to cancel, because I wasn't feeling too good. As the day went on, I felt better, so I did his Zeppelin Lp, over to Cd for him.... then, last night, he came over for a short visit & collected the thing.
I was totally blown away, by the quality of the Lp !! I just thought it was going to be a waste of time, putting it onto a Cd, but.... it came out brilliantly !! So - if you get the chance to pick up any of the 200gm Lp's that have been released, go for it !! The sound on them is fantastic..... I don't think my friend expected it to sound as good as it did !!
Mind you - a £400 deck, thru' a £600 amp & then onto £800 Bose speakers... well, it better have sounded good !! I would of wanted to know why otherwise !! Oh well... he's gone up to London now, but he'll be coming around again, next week - then we'll see if he wants anything else transferred over !!
I guess the prices of my stuff doesn't really count - as I haven't bought anything new (except a stylus) for the system in several years.... but, hopefully you get my meaning !!
Right - my plans for tonight.... none at all really... just a quiet one, playing music & watching TV.
If all goes well, tomorrow - we're going to try & sort out the 'new' TV. It's going to go up, into our room. To do all of that, I have to run a wire from the aerial, down thru' the loft, into the room..... no problem !! If I fall thru', it'll make it easier to thread the cable !! Only joking - J said he would do it - but, even as I am - I still trust myself to it, better than J !! I'm sure there would be any trouble, with J - but, I would rather do it myself !!
So - that's tonight & tomorrow's plans...... sounds good to me, so I will be on my ways. Thank you for reading.... until next time....

Jimi Hendrix & other stuff...
Greetings Worlds !!
It's bright & breezy day here in England..... which is kind of good, even tho' I'm not actually going outside !! Well, not if I can help it, at least.... I have enough problems coping with my "indoor" World - with-out going out into another Universe altogether !!
B has just left with J - who has an appointment in town, between 2 & 3pm...... it's a lot quicker for her, or us, to drive him in. It takes us 30 minutes, where as the bus is at least a 2 hour ride !! Crazy - anyways, I've written about all of this before... so, moving on....
With B & J out... and ME being at work, I have the house to myself !! With, of course, one cat up on the bed !! It wouldn't be normal, if at least one cat was... um, "resting" between it's meals !! Oh well..... I'm here on my own & the music is turned down to deafening !!
In the post, this morning, I had a copy of Jefferson Airplane's 'The Worst Of...' - so, that's what is blasting away at the moment. It's just a replacement for an old Lp..... so, that's good. I'll never be able to replace them all, but an odd one, now & again is good enough for
me !!
Also, this morning, my friend from South America looked in.... but, I had tried to e-mail him earlier, as I wasn't feeling too good & it seemed a shame to spoil his visit. But, I wasn't quick enough - he was at the door as I sent the mail !! Never mind - he understood how i was & left after a few minutes. He only lives a few hundred metres up the road, so he didn't have to go far !! We'll meet up again soon.... I just couldn't make it this morning.
In the meantime, he has left a Zeppelin Lp, for me to put onto Cd for him. I'll have a go at that later..... when I can concentrate a bit
more !! It's not going to be any problem, I just need to get my head around it !!
Last night - later than I had hoped, we had a visit from our friends in Church - read yesterday's post for details - and it was good to have a little chat. Nothing came out of it, other than to arrange another visit on Monday of next week. I'm sure the "going to Temple" subject will come up.... but, that's for next week !!
Oh well...... I will let you know what happens......
I, at last, have another Zeppelin concert.... well, 2 actually... from New York's Madison Square Garden. They were both recorded on September 19th 1970 & came about when the group used to do an afternoon & evening show, at the same place, on the same day. As time went on - they just did 2 nights, rather than busting a gut doing 2 shows in the same place a hour or 2 apart !! Anyhoo - the tracks are:

Yes, I know - I forgot to mention it..... yesterday marked the anniversary of Jimi Hendrix's death. Go shoot me, I honestly forgot !! So - by the time of the evening show - given that America is 5 hours behind England - the news had broken & hence, there was a little tribute to the guy.
I actually prefer the 2nd concert of the 2... for me it has a lot more depth & fun to it - the first show (to me) is very much by the numbers. Oh well... more another time - but, don't buy bootlegs !! Buy the official stuff !!
As for my plans, for the rest of the day.... well, I'm going to listen to the rest of this Cd & then give the Zeppelin Lp a play. I've not heard it in a while, so.... it might be fun !! But, for now - I will away... so, I thank you for logging in & taking the time to read my words... until next time..

The Blue Man Group... and other things !!
Greetings Worlds....
It's very bright, chilly day here in England...... about 1.30pm by my clock, tho' I have no idea what time it is with you, my readers !!
Talking of which.... A big "Hello" to my reader in Australia & also my reader in Saudi Arabia !! It's amazing how far my words are going around the World...... if I had known people would be reading these words, from America, thru' Europe - not forgetting Sweden - out into Russia, Asia - China.... and beyond.... well, I'm gob-smacked so many of you are reading !! My thanks to you all & I thank you for your time !!
Are any of you fans of the Beatles ? I'm not - infact, I'm probably the only person in the Weston World who isn't !! But, having written that - I did play a few tracks from 'The White Album' this morning..... no real reason. I was watching a bit of a video, I was transferring over to DVD, and the main character said about it - so, I thought I would listen to it for a while. it was a very short while - but, what the heck.... it really is not for me !!
As I wrote, to an American 'blogger' this past week - while others were raving about 'Sgt. Pepper' - well, I was playing the first Canned Heat album !! It was 1967... and stuff coming out of the American radio stations was far better than anything the British stations were playing !!
I had a really old radio - it was a thing my Granddad had. When he died, some how, I landed up with it !! It was great - I could pick up stations from all around the World..... especially from America, broadcasting to the troops, stationed in Germany & the rest of Europe.
While my friends were raving about the Beatles, I was listening to the Grateful Dead, canned heat & Buffalo Springfield - to name just a few.... ah, those were the days !! Now of course - I don't actually own a radio - but, I've managed to collect a big bundle of Cd's by various bands.
As I said to the American lady - I'm still playing canned Heat... are my old (probably dead) school friends still playing 'Pepper' ?! I doubt it......
The music of the moment, is by the Blue Man Group... one of their concerts...... not really sure where from, exactly, but it's a bit of fun, none the less..
As for the family. B & ME - who is on a day off - have gone out & will be back later, leaving J upstairs to keep an eye on me here. He's a good lad.... even had a bit of a tidy around the rec room earlier, as - unexpectedly - I'm having some visitor tonight !! To explain....
Due to poor health, I've not been to Church, for a few weeks. Can't be helped - it's just the way things are at the moment !! Anyhoo - a week or 2 back, we had an e-mail, from our Bishop, about going to Temple. Anyways - that was a little while back & I answered that, we didn't expect to be going.... maybe a few years ago, but not now.
So - this morning, the Bishop 'phoned & asked if we could meet up & discuss our going. No problem with talking about it, as far as I'm concerned..... but I still don't think we will be going !!
So - we've arranged to meet, this coming Sunday... if I'm at Church. Then, out of the blue - I get another e-mail, about a Church visit tonight, by some guys we know !! All very strange - and, to my old cynical mind, a little toooooooo much of a coincidence !! Nobody comes to see us for months - then I get a 'phone call & a visit, all in the same day !!
Ho-hum..... I will no doubt, let you know how things go..... it's all a little too much, too obvious at the moment !! Never mind.... that's all for another day I guess !!
Tomorrow, my friend - who is visiting from South America - is dropping by again. It's going to be good to see him & have a chat. He's bringing over an expensive Lp, that he wants me to put on Cd for him.... so, that will be fun !! Why he doesn't just buy the Cd & have done with it - well, each to their own !!
In the post, I've just had a copy of the DVD 'Millennium'. It's a Sci-fi movie, directed by Michael Anderson & has been one of my favourites for a few years now. He also directed 'The Martian Chronicles' & 'Logan's Run'...... so, it's pretty good !! It'll be good to see a clear copy of it - my old tape has basically had it's day !! So - rather than copy an old, worn out tape, B suggested I get the DVD - it was only £3, so nothing too expensive really !!
I shall be sitting down & watching that a little later...... more than likely, when i finish typing these words to you !! It depends on what time B gets back home..... I'll adjust to her plans, when she gets
here !!
At some point, I have to go & wire the aerial, for the new TV.... which I mentioned, either yesterday, or the day before. As for the family. B & ME - who is on a day off - have gone out & will be back later, leaving J upstairs to keep an eye on me here. He's a good lad.... even had a bit of a tidy around the rec room earlier, as - unexpectedly - I'm having some visitor tonight !! To explain....
Due to poor health, I've not been to Church, for a few weeks. Can't be helped - it's just the way things are at the moment !! Anyhoo - a week or 2 back, we had an e-mail, from our Bishop, about going to Temple. Anyways - that was a little while back & I answered that, we didn't expect to be going.... maybe a few years ago, but not now.
So - this morning, the Bishop 'phoned & asked if we could meet up & discuss our going. No problem with talking about it, as far as I'm concerned..... but I still don't think we will be going !!
So - we've arranged to meet, this coming Sunday... if I'm at Church. Then, out of the blue - I get another e-mail, about a Church visit tonight, by some guys we know !! All very strange - and, to my old cynical mind, a little toooooooo much of a coincidence !! Nobody comes to see us for months - then I get a 'phone call & a visit, all in the same day !!
Ho-hum..... I will no doubt, let you know how things go..... it's all a little too much, too obvious at the moment !! Never mind.... that's all for another day I guess !!
Tomorrow, my friend - who is visiting from South America - is dropping by again. It's going to be good to see him & have a chat. He's bringing over an expensive Lp, that he wants me to put on Cd for him.... so, that will be fun !! Why he doesn't just buy the Cd & have done with it - well, each to their own !!
In the post, I've just had a copy of the DVD 'Millennium'. It's a Sci-fi movie, directed by Michael Anderson & has been one of my favourites for a few years now. He also directed 'The Martian Chronicles' & 'Logan's Run'...... so, it's pretty good !! It'll be good to see a clear copy of it - my old tape has basically had it's day !! So - rather than copy an old, worn out tape, B suggested I get the DVD - it was only £3, so nothing too expensive really !!
I shall be sitting down & watching that a little later...... more than likely, when i finish typing these words to you !! It depends on what time B gets back home..... I'll adjust to her plans, when she gets
here !!
At some point, I have to go & wire the aerial, for the new TV.... which I mentioned, either yesterday, or the day before. It's going to replace the one in our bedroom - which is all well & good... but, I have to get the aerial wired in & that's going to be fun !! Not being as good as I used to be, getting up into the loft space & stuff.... never mind, if I fall thru' to the bedroom, it'll save me having to make a hole for the wire !!
That's for another day tho'...... not today !! But, I must be on my ways for now.... until next time...

A not so good week, plus a good laugh......
Greetings Worlds...
How has your day been so far ?! Mine has brightened up no end.... my friend from South America has just left, after a very quick visit. He mainly popped in to say "Hello" and to leave me some Cd's to listen to !! So - the music of the moment is by Z Z Top, from a concert recorded earlier this year.... in Denmark, I think... not sure about that !!
So - that's the music... as for the family. B has just gone into town & taken J along for the ride. I think she decided that, either I needed to be left on my own for a while - or, J needed to get out of the house to get a bit of air !! Probably the latter !! Oh well......
As for the little whirlwind.... that is to say, our Daughter, ME... well, she is at work again today. This is the 3rd day in a row she has had to work.... so, she was a little out of it this morning - but, the good news is, she has a day off tomorrow !! So - if nothing else, she can have a little rest !!
I best point out - her days at work are about 14 hours long.... so, her 3 days is the same, or more, than some people do all week !! Never mind.... she has tomorrow off !!
Right.... back to me.... who is now home alone & sat here typing these words to you. I have had a not sooooo good week really. As last week - the past 7 days - went along, I was getting lower & lower - which by Sunday, had really caught up on me !!
I try not to let my health get the better of me - but, I'm sorry to say, this past few days.... well.... to quote the old Monkees' song.... 'That Was Then, This Is Now' !! I've decided, this week, to give myself a proverbial kick up the backside & get some sort of order, back into this old life of mine !! My visit from my South American friend has really given me a boost, so.... I'm going to try & keep this "high" going a few days longer !!
To that end - the music will be played long & loud..... with as much variety as I can put into it !! This Z Z Top concert seems like a good way to start.... "it's got a beat & you can dance to it" !! Oh well.....
Here's something, for you all to think about. If you were going to be spending your life, isolated from the rest of the World.... what would you take with you ?! It's like a 'Desert Island Discs' type of thing - but, I'll open it up to - say - 30 items..... not just music..... anything you can think off !!
This idea has been expanded a bit, from another blog that I read...... the lady just listed Cd's.... I'm looking forward & thinking, you can't just listen to music all day - you might want some other things to keep you going !!
So.... if you have any ideas.... I would be interested in your lists. As for me.... well, I spend most of my days listening to music anyhoo..... so, I guess I would want a few books & some other things - tho' I don't know what !! Let me know, I would be interested in your lists !!
Oh - I don't have any Zeppelin concerts from today.... but, there are more to come.... another day !!
Right.... I've mentioned our neighbour, P, and the fact his Wife has walked out on him & everything. B & J take it in turns to walk Murphy & generally try & look out for the guy, during his low point. Ok - we do this - because it's what friends do & - I know - it's at times like this, that you need (and find out) who your friends really are.
Well, on Saturday, he asked if B could pop over to see him.... he had something for us and needed a bit of help with it. So - B went over, with J, and came back with a TV !! He had got it from a friend & gave it to us....... !! I told him he didn't need to - but, as he put it, we helping him & this is one way of "paying" us for that help !!
So - as I type.... a few feet away from me, is another TV + stand thingy !! The problem is & I'm not saying in anyway, that it's not a great gift....... but, we don't actually need another TV and don't really know what we're going to do with it, now that we have it !!
I'm going to get J to give me a hand upstairs with it..... I hope it might fit in our bedroom, and if it does, it will replace the smaller TV we have there at the moment. Honestly, it's a lovely thought and I've thanked P over & over for it - but, now, we have to find a home for
it !!
ME has decided, she is going to have the stand thingy..... just incase she needs one, when she moves out at some point. I think that will be in the new year, when M (her boyfriend) finds a job & they both know where they will be working. Oh well - until then, we'll have to store it some place.... luckily, it folds down to a flat pack type of thing... so, that will help !!
A week or 2 back, P did phone up & ask what size our TV was..... I know now, why he wanted to know !! Bless him, he didn't have to do this.... it is a lovely thought tho' !!
Staying with P..... he has given us the best laugh we've had in a long time. To explain, he works here in the village, at a local creamery place...... they make cheese, butter & cream stuff. Well, he is always giving us stuff and, others in the Close, things that he gets, I guess, as part of his job.
Well - one of the things he gets is - as I said above - butter...... but, it comes in cream pots. They're a sort of tub things..... unfortunately, with the words 'Clotted cream' written on them. I say, unfortunately, as he gave some to another neighbour (who did a bit of ironing for him) and that neighbour...... well.......
..... Her eyes & stomach took over, where her brain should of been !!
To cut a long story short, she said "I don't like P's cream"..... as, she put 2 big spoons of the stuff on some jelly pudding & ate it, thinking it really was cream !! Honestly - it must of tasted really bad - but, she didn't click it was butter, until we & others told her !!
I do feel sorry for her tho' - but, to put so much on a pudding and eat it all.... well, "engage brain mode" should of clicked in at some
point !! Never mind - we all had a great laugh over it..... !! It's no wonder she didn't like P's cream !! Great fun.........
I had to write a quick "sorry" e-mail to our Bishop, as once again, I was unable to go to Church yesterday !! I feel really bad about this - as it's been a few weeks now, sine we last went !! B & my "clinic guy" have told me, I'm not to worry about it - I can only do what I can do..... but, I've made a concious decision, that - no matter how poorly I feel, next week - I am going to go !!
B has my best interests at heart.... and basically tells me "You're not going !" when I'm sick or too out of it.... but, I do wish I could go more often !! Oh well - next Sunday !!
I better think about closing this down soon.... the Z Z Top concert is just coming to an end and I need to think about finishing that off. It's on 2 Cd's - but, it's kind of short, so it might edit down to one disc.... if I get around to it - I'll see what happens !! At least it's something different to listen to !!
So - anyhoo.... I will be on my ways. If any of you fancy dropping a line about what you would take with you... the 30 items thing... well, I would be glad to hear from you all !! But, for now - I thank you for logging in & taking the time to read my words.... until next time.....

And Pancreator kisses the incredible corona
Of his first born Sun
To seal the while galactic core
Beyond the Astral Skies.....
Some searching for the echoes
Emanating from the first foundation of Eternity
Hearkening to those ancient voices
Resounding from beyond the thresholds of Oblivion
Buried deep within the Core......
Drinking the powers that are steaming from the Centre
As the cosmic brine
The Spirit of the Sun - life giving medium
Through which the power acts and flows
As hydrogen transforms to helium
And atoms form the covenant of molecules
This is where life begins and grows
And where the Holy number rules
Beyond the Astral Skies......
The invisible gates of infinity....
Inscrutable - unthinkable remote
And shrouded into everlasting eerie silent thunder....
Not known to man on Earth
The shinning Crystal of Forgiveness
Which comes from outer space
Reflecting of the justice of this Universe
It's radiance way beyond the human race

Lots more music.... and a warm bed !!
Well Hello Worlds !!
It's another Friday, here in ye old homestead.... if I tell you it's a little after 2.30pm & I've just got out of a very nice warm bed - well, that might tell you what kind of day I'm having !! No really... it's not been that bad...
As I type, B is upstairs, so is J & ME is out with her boyfriend..... I think she will be home soon, as M is going to the Silverstone race track, over the weekend & I think he leaves today...... anyhoo - that's the family.
The music of the moment is Jimi Hendrix's 'Axis Bold As Love' album.... not one of my favourites, but it's just a bit of background stuff, while I type !!
Yesterday, I had to go into town & meet up with a new guy.... about how things are at the moment, health wise, for me. I was a little bit uneasy.... the way I always feel, when I see some body new. But, after meeting with him & spending over an hour talking together, well - he put me at ease & hopefully, over the coming months, he'll be able to help me out a bit...... coming to terms with my situation and all that goes with it !!
He won't be able to help with the physical effect of my problems - but, he'll be there to advise me on how to deal with it all & stuff like that.... I will let you know how things develop over the coming
times !!
B has just come down stairs now - having a shower & a change of clothes !! While I was asleep, she went over to the neighbour... the one she helps out... and got a little dirty, cleaning up some mess & stuff !! As she said, she feels "cleaner" now !!
The neighbour is a little poorly & B goes over to help as much as she can... today, well - she got a little dirty in the progress !! Never mind..... she is only helping.....
Yesterday, while I was in the place - seeing the new guy... B went & picked me up some more Cd's to listen to !! She knows the way to my heart !! Anyways... this Hendrix Cd, the one I mentioned above + his first album 'Are You Experienced'.....also, 2 Talking Head Cd's - which I have on cassette, 'Speaking In Tongues' & 'Naked'...... another Hendrix 2 Cd set... 'Live At The Fillmore East'... which, I don't think I had ever heard before ?! Ah - so much music & sooooo few brain cells to listen to it all with !!
Plus - with all of that... a question !! When is a bootleg, not a
bootleg ?! To explain.....
When the last Peter Gabriel DVD came out - I, as I often do - recorded the soundtrack, from the DVD over to Cd.... strictly for my own ease & enjoyment !! I find it a lot easier, to listen to Cd's, rather than playing the DVD over & over.... it's the way I am...
Anyhoo - one of the Cd's B picked up yesterday, is the official 2 Cd set of the same show.... It's called 'Live Blood' and it's really good !! My question is this tho'...... why is it almost identical to the 2 Cd set that I recorded off the DVD !! It really is !! It has the pre-amble at the beginning & the studio track, at the very end..... it's all very weird !!
I tell you honestly - Mr Gabriel..... it's exactly like my Cd's !! So - when is a bootleg, not a bootleg ?! I guess, when the artist releases it officially...... shame it wasn't just a little different from my copy.... But, never mind - it's good to have the "proper version" of the show !! Thank you Peter G for putting it out !!
J has just gone out, to take Murphy (see earlier posts) for a walk....... B usually does it, but having just had a shower & stuff, she has let J do the honours...... I don't think he minds too much + it gets him out of the house !!
Ok - as it's September 14th... I can only write about one Zeppelin concert, from this day !! It was recording in Berkeley California, on the 2nd night of 2 in 1971..... and it was out on a 2 Lp bootleg, famously called 'Going To California'.... it was brilliant & the Cd versions of the shows are well good !! The tracks are:

As always, don't buy bootlegs - just buy the official stuff !! Talking of which.....
....the 2007 re-union concert is coming out very soon !! You will be able to find it in some film centres & in November, on DVD & (hopefully) on Cd as well. If it's been worth the wait.... the live tapes, of the show, came out so quickly, I'm surprised they haven't released it before !! We'll have to wait & see if it's worth it..... only a month & a bit too go folks !!
Right.... all I've talked about today has seemed to have been music !! The family has taken a bit of a back seat at the moment !!
B is still say here, cutting out some craft stuff - for the Christmas cards she'll make..... the table is covered in cut out Reindeer !! Oh well..... our life goes on & on !!

bootleg ?! To explain.....
When the last Peter Gabriel DVD came out - I, as I often do - recorded the soundtrack, from the DVD over to Cd.... strictly for my own ease & enjoyment !! I find it a lot easier, to listen to Cd's, rather than playing the DVD over & over.... it's the way I am...
Anyhoo - one of the Cd's B picked up yesterday, is the official 2 Cd set of the same show.... It's called 'Live Blood' and it's really good !! My question is this tho'...... why is it almost identical to the 2 Cd set that I recorded off the DVD !! It really is !! It has the pre-amble at the beginning & the studio track, at the very end..... it's all very weird !!
I tell you honestly - Mr Gabriel..... it's exactly like my Cd's !! So - when is a bootleg, not a bootleg ?! I guess, when the artist releases it officially...... shame it wasn't just a little different from my copy.... But, never mind - it's good to have the "proper version" of the show !! Thank you Peter G for putting it out !!
J has just gone out, to take Murphy (see earlier posts) for a walk....... B usually does it, but having just had a shower & stuff, she has let J do the honours...... I don't think he minds too much + it gets him out of the house !!
Ok - as it's September 14th... I can only write about one Zeppelin concert, from this day !! It was recording in Berkeley California, on the 2nd night of 2 in 1971..... and it was out on a 2 Lp bootleg, famously called 'Going To California'.... it was brilliant & the Cd versions of the shows are well good !! The tracks are:

It's not the complete concert - being a straight copy of the 2 Lp set.... but, for an old idiot like me, it's really good to have !! It replaces the Lp version very nicely, thank you !!
As always, don't buy bootlegs - just buy the official stuff !! Talking of which.....
....the 2007 re-union concert is coming out very soon !! You will be able to find it in some film centres & in November, on DVD & (hopefully) on Cd as well. If it's been worth the wait.... the live tapes, of the show, came out so quickly, I'm surprised they haven't released it before !! We'll have to wait & see if it's worth it..... only a month & a bit too go folks !!
Right.... all I've talked about today has seemed to have been music !! The family has taken a bit of a back seat at the moment !!
B is still say here, cutting out some craft stuff - for the Christmas cards she'll make..... the table is covered in cut out Reindeer !! Oh well..... our life goes on & on !!
For now tho'.... I really must be on my ways !! I'm still feeling slightly out of it, from my sleep earlier...... never mind... I'll catch up

Nothing to do & lot of time not to do it in....
Hi Everybody !!
How is your bit of Internet Space treating you today ?! Mine is wet & "so-so" .....I'm staying here in ye old Homestead for the rest of the day - it's too wet for me out side !! Having said that... B & ME have just headed into town.... to explain.
Today, M... ME's boyfriend.... is having his graduation from Uni. It's a little complicated, so stick with me. M has been attending the town college & did an extra year, in order to get his degree. So - today - the "big" Church in town is hosting his graduation ceremony.
While he & his folks are at that, ME is going to sneak into his home & leave some type of "congratulations" stuff in his room. The idea being, whenever he gets back, he'll find it as a bit of a surprise !! I'm not sure if it will work - but, that's her plan anyways !!
I think B went along for the ride.... and to keep our Daughter company. Life is good.... especially for me, as I'm here in the dry !! J is here to look after me, should I run into any problems - not that I'm expecting any !!
The music of the moment is 'The Pearlfishers' from Bizet...... one of my all time favourite bits of classical music !! I'm transferring a bunch of tracks, from various classical Cd's over to just one disc.... to make it easier for me to play my favourites !! I hope they will all fit.... with some of them lasting 15 minutes or more, I'm struggling to pick which ones I want !!
Oh well.......
I'm not having a great day, for making things fit.... I found an old video of Page & Plant, which I guess I recorded about 1994.... it was only an hour long, but the DVD - as it turned out - only had 58 minutes of space.... so, it missed the last bit !! Bummer - I'll have to do it again !! That's an hour of my life wasted !!
Never mind....
Tomorrow, I have to attend a new (to me) clinic...... I think it's here in town, as opposed to the hospital. I know B has told me where it actually is - but, I'm a little confused about it all !! Nothing new there folks !!
Anyhoo - as I have to be there for 11 or 11.30... and it's going to take at least one hour to go thru' everything, it's unlikely I'll have time to write tomorrow !! Not exactly knowing when I will be home & everything !!

So - check the news tomorrow & - I guess - there will be some dates for the release. Hopefully there will be a 2 Cd set to go with it !! That would be good.... but, we'll see what the wind blows out first !!
Right, my plans for today.... none really....... As I have this clinic thing tomorrow, I better get myself organised for that !! There isn't much I can do.... but, maybe I'll have a think about what it all entails !! I do not like going to new places - especially when it comes to my

REM & other old stuff... ho-hum....
Hi Again Worlds !!
So, after a short break - I'm back again...... my thanks to you all, who have logged in over the last couple of days. I'm sorry there was nothing new for you to read.....
It's a Tuesday, here in old England. It's a little cold out side, but nothing too bad. I had to go down to the Dr's this morning.... another blood test !! This time, to try & get to the bottom of why I'm bruising up so bad. I'll get the results in a day or 2 I guess.....
Never mind.... B took me down in the car & now she has gone into town........ mainly to do a bit of shopping & to take in a gym class. It's the first time she has been, since last week. The Dr told her to rest & that's exactly what she has been doing. As far as I was concerned, she could of missed today, as well - but, she wanted to go.... so, I'm not going to argue !!
So - with B away for a couple of hours, J is here looking out for me....... ME is at work today, so she won't be home for quite a while. I don't think she'll finish until after 8 tonight, so it will be at least 9pm before she gets home.
The music of the moment is Nine Inch Nails set from 'Woodstock 94'..... I was making a DVD copy of the video (recorded at the time) and the Nails were on it - that reminded me to dig out the Cd of the show. It's well good & has been a big favourite of mine over the years !!
I also have a Zeppelin show, from September 11th 1971....... it's only part of the concert, but the tracks are:

Just to show how "bad" some bootlegs are - the second Cd was listed on the cover as being from Leeds, here in England ..... only 3000 miles out there guys !! So - as always, don't buy bootlegs, get the official stuff instead !! More another time.....
As I've mentioned, I spent some time recording the 'Woodstock 94' video, over to DVD..... as I type - I'm making myself a copy of REM's 'Unplugged' show.... from many many moons ago !! I knew I had a copy, some place, but it was still a surprise to find it !! I've thrown away sooooo videos now, I'm sure I've missed a few good ones !!
And - just staying with music.... B took me into town yesterday & I picked up a copy of Black Country Communion's 'Live In Europe' Cd..... it's Ok - but, not so good as I hoped. Disc 2 is - for me - the best... the Joe Bonamassa guitar work is well good......
Anyhoo - enough of music....
It's September 11th & the anniversary of the attacks on the Twin Towers in New York. Our thoughts & prayers go out to all of you who lost loved ones on that day... or were, in some other way, involved.
Myself - as long term readers will know - I was in hospital at the time & my friend (a porter) kept coming in & telling me what was happening. I didn't see too much of it, until I came home a week later - but, as with most people - will never forget what happened !!
I'm also thinking of a guy, who was in the next bed to me (in hospital).... he didn't know anything about the attack, as he had just had surgery & was more or less "out of it" for the whole of that day. When B brought me in the papers, on the 12th.... well, he couldn't believe what he has missed.
He actually lived here in our village & unfortunately died a few years ago......
Right - just going to turn the Nails off & listen to a bit of REM.... the video is near it's end & I don't want to mess up the DVD. Quite a difference - between the hard rock of Nine Inch Nails & the acoustic guitars of the unplugged set !!
I had a good bit of news this morning.... my friend in South America is coming back here on Friday. I'm not sure if he's going to be staying or not - the last I heard, he was hoping his girlfriend could get a Canadian visa. maybe he is bringing her with him..... whichever, it'll be good to meet up again.
The music of the moment is now a 1988 Gun's & Roses video !! Not much of a change.... it's surprising how well the old vid's sound after all these years !! Well pleased about that.......
Right, my plans for today.... I don't know really !! I'm listening to some old tapes & transferring them over to Cd.... but, that takes a bit of time & concentration on my part..... something my brain lacks at the moment !! I'm sure I'll find some thing to amuse myself with, for a few minutes at least... ho-hum !!

Murphy, Baking & NCIS....
Greetings !!
It's a warm & sticky Saturday, here in England..... outside, it's not very nice at all... too hot, but sat here in our living room, it's cool & much better !!
As I type, B is in the kitchen, baking up some cakes - and looking after the bear, commonly known as the dog Murphy !! I can't really describe this animal - he's big, full of cuddles & - I'm sure -
part bear !! Cute with it tho'......
He's not ours - I must point out - incase you're a new reader !! He belongs to our neighbour (P) who has gone away for the day.... so, we're on "doggy sitting" duties again. To be honest - we don't really mind... but, it seems that P has forgotten he has a pet & is relying on us (most weekends) to look after Murphy !! Oh well - it's not like we're going too far today !!
Tho' having said that, B, ME & me went out to a craft centre this morning... just for a short ride & to see what they had today. B picked up some various things - and ME fell in love with the hamsters..... - it wasn't too bad a trip out........ it's also a pet/garden centre, incase you're wondering.
For some strange reason - they had some lama's there as well
today ?! I'm not sure if that's the correct spelling..... big sheep, if that makes it more understandable ?! They did smell a bit tho'.... I'll put that down to the heat !!
Anyhoo - that was this morning... we're all home now....... J is up in his room, some place. Not 100% sure what he's doing - probably best not too ask !!

I don't have a Zeppelin concert, from today.... but I do have one, from tomorrow & so, I thought I would write about that one. It's another 1970 show, on 2 Cd's & recorded in Boston. The tracks are:

There are 2 versions - one is an audience recording & the one above is from a soundboard tape. I don't think there are too many copies of the latter about, but it's worth a listen if you ever get chance. Anyways - that's from September 9th 1970. As always - don't buy bootlegs, buy the official stuff !! More another time.....

ME worked all of last night.... bless her, she snuck home very quietly this morning, so quiet in fact, that we didn't hear her come in !! Apart from one of the night staff asking if it was her "can of beer" (which had been tipped over) it seems to have been a good night - if just a little long !! For the record - it wasn't beer, but some kind of energy drink !! The staff member is a bit of a bi**h and likes to stir things up !! Oh well....
My plans for today... none really !! I'll probably record some more video's over to DVD's this afternoon.... it depends on how things go I guess. I hope, tomorrow, we'll manage to go over to Church. That will have to wait until the morning, to see how I've got on this coming night !! No point in looking too far a head !!
So - with the baking smells, from the kitchen, filling the house, I will be on my ways..... I thank you all again for logging in.... until next time..

Ok - it's almost the end of another week.... a warm & bright Friday, here in England. B & ME have just gone out shopping, which leaves myself & J here in the mini-homestead. I didn't want to go very far today - I need a bit of "stay at home" time. Once again, I didn't get too much sleep last night - so, it's time to re-group & have a rest !!
ME is working all night, tonight... and had hoped to get a bit of sleep today. Unfortunately, when she came down stairs, she blamed me for waking her up - but, it wasn't me !! I'm usually to blame, for waking her up.... but, this time it was her Brother, J !! I'm not guilty this time !!
Right.... in the post this morning, I had a new part for our lawn mower..... our old one seems to be having a problem. So in the post, a new switch has arrived & we'll attack the mower a little later. I hope it's the right part - to me, it looks different.... but, J is confident it's the proper one !! We will wait & see how it goes a little later !!
The music of the moment is the same "singles" collection, by Nazareth, that I was playing last night..... I didn't get to play it all, so I'm finishing that off, as I type. I have several collections by the band, but this one has different tracks on.... which aren't on the others. The Stones' 'Ruby Tuesday' has just finished - not too bad a version !!
I don't have any Zeppelin shows for today... but there are quite a few coming up.... especially from their concerts in Japan, in 1971 & 1972 - so, I'll cover them as I go thru' the rest of this month & October.
Long term & short term readers (I guess) will know that B goes to the gym.... not only to lose weight, but - as I put it - to get away from me a bit !! Well - she has been getting some headaches & today she popped in to see the Dr..... guess what ? She has over done it a bit - at the gym - and has to rest for at least 3 days, before going back !! Sooooo to much exercise is bad for you, after all !! It seems she has twisted her neck or something - so, a mandatory 3 day rest has been prescribed...... I'm sure she will get back to it soon !!
Oh well....... life goes on & on....
I think I've mentioned before, about transferring old video tapes over to DVD..... well, as I type - there is an old Sci-fi film on the recorder, copying over to disc. I doubt very much that I will ever find a copy on DVD, so.... this is the next best thing !! Considering the age of the tape - it's coming out pretty good !!
Right, this is going to be shorter than usual today..... I'm struggling to see the computer screen & that makes it had work !! But - I will be back soon..... maybe on the weekend.... if so, I might have an answer to a question ......
Our neighbour - who we're helping out with the dog/bear Murphy has phoned & asked me what size TV we have !! All very strange !! I'm sure I'll understand more as the days go by !! I thank you for logging in & taking the time to read my words..... until next time...

Lots of music... oh yes..... !!
Greetings Worlds !!
I must say a big "Hello" to my Russian reader again... you've been reading a big chunk of my words this week - so, I thank you & everybody else around the World, for your time & for logging in !!
Ok - it's another Thursday, here in old England. I didn't post yesterday - in fact, I didn't do much of anything yesterday !! B took J into town, to a job meeting thingy, and I went along for the ride....... and in the process, came home with some more music to listen to. More of that later - as I picked up some more today !!
First - the family..... B has just gone out to a gym class..... only one tonight. Last week, I think, she did 2 on the Thursday & paid the price, with aches & pains, for a few days afterwards !! So tonight, she is only doing one class.... better safe than sorry !!
So - that's My Wife & Dearest Friend.... ME is sat here, a few feet away, doing some "e-learning"..... whatever that is !! "When I was a boy..." we used paper & pens !! Never mind - she was home a little earlier today...... but, she is working all night tomorrow !! Bummer !! I think it's a one off.... part of training course...
Oh well.... that just leaves J - who has just gone upstairs to his dungeon.... um, I mean bedroom... probably to play some kind of game on his computer. I don't really know - so, if you're reading these words, J - come on down & tell me what is happening !! Never mind - apart from the 3 cats, that's the family taken care of....
J has just come into the room.... no, he wasn't reading my words... just offering a bag of sweets around !!
The music of the moment is by Nazareth....... and is a new 2 Cd set of their singles, from over the years. That's one of the "new" recordings I've picked up over the last 2 days. I've also got a new (to me) Jimi Hendrix 'Live At Winterland' Cd.... 3 Cd's of Iron Maiden's "best of" from 1980-2010.
The new (2012) Patti Smith album, 'Banga'.... I've been playing that Cd to death today !! What else - the new Neil Young Cd.... 'American'.... which I think will grow on me over the coming months. At first listen, it was a bit "strange"... to say the least !! His version of 'God Save The Queen' is a bit off the wall, but.... it will grow on me, I'm sure !!
Plus - I picked up a copy of Pink Floyd's 'A Foot In The Door - The Best Of Pink Floyd' - why, I don't really know.... I have all of their Cd's + a couple or 3 'best of' sets already !! Never mind - it's all music folks & it's better than nothing at all.... tho', after playing some of it, all day, B might disagree with me !!
I think that's all of the new stuff - tho'... I might have forgotten something or another !!
I was thinking of something earlier.... not music related.....
Many moons ago, I went up to Lancashire (with my ex) and we took our big owl with us..... to explain. My old man used to work for this company, that - well part of it - used to make big stuffed toys. The owl, which is called "Evod" weighs in at about 12 kg & stands about 2 feet tall. He is really a big toy - but, anyhoo... "Evod" was sitting in the back of the car, as I was driving south, along one of the motorways...... and this other car went by. A little girl was in the back seat, and had obviously seen the owl & was pointing at our car & telling her folks "loooooookkkkkkk !!" !! I wonder what she is doing now ?! Does she remember "Evod" ?! Oh well.....
This all came to mind today, after the horrible events that have taken place in France. A family were shot & the police found a 4 year old, unharmed, under her Mum's body !! Her folks are dead, but her Sister is alive - well, she was the last I heard. It is very bad & our prayers go out to them & their relatives..... It really is a sick World !!
There was a cyclist found dead at the same place - but, as yet, I've not heard why or what happened.
Ok - onto other things.... I see, from your e-mails, that my listing the Zeppelin boots is still popular. What I'll do next year, well - I don't know..... I could keep going, but... as I don't really know what I've written about, this year, I'll more than likely mess it up !!
But, I do have another concert, again from 1970.... this time, part of a concert the band did in Honolulu, Hawaii. I only have one Cd of part of the show - but, it's all good... the tracks are:
1) Immigrant Song
2) Dazed & Confused
3) Heartbreaker
4) Since I've Been Loving You
5) What Is & What Should Never Be
6) Moby Dick
7) Whole Lotta Love
8) Communication Breakdown
It's only short - but... worth having in the collection !! It's got a bit of a weird thing on it - for some reason, 'Dazed & Confused' was played before 'Heartbreaker'..... it's a bit strange, as it changed the running order & that didn't happen too often. Some writers claim it was a mistake - but, I don't go for that.... Page didn't make any attempt to play 'Heartbreaker'... leaving Jones to play the opening bass line of 'Dazed'... Ok - it's a sad fact, I have no life & I listen to far too much music..... heck, what else am I going to do ?!
I'll have more shows, another time, but for now - as always, don't buy bootlegs, buy the official stuff instead.
Oh - one last thing on music..... the family have decided, that for Christmas, I can have the complete 2012 Allman Brothers collection !! How cool is that !! It will be released in a box & will contain every show the band has done - or will do this year !!
When they were working out Christmas gifts, I said I would like the box set & - to my surprise - B said it was Ok & the guys are going to chip in & help pay for it !! I'm over the Moon & if you're reading these words Lady V.... put my name on one of them...... hopefully B won't change her mind !! That would be very sad & I might cry about it, if she did that !! Only joking.... but it sure would be great to get the box set !!
But - with that in mind... I should be on my ways. Oh - I forgot something.....
Last night, I fell over (again) and i woke up this morning with the makings of another "black left hand"... if you read earlier posts, you will see this has happened before..... tho' this time, it's not quite so big or painful !! Great stuff - just when I thought I was getting away with any injuries, this goes & happens !! Never mind !!

Live On Blueberry Hill & other stuff....
Well Greetings Worlds !!
How are you all today ?! I'm doing pretty good.... I actually got, what for me, was a good nights sleep !! Every time I woke up, I seem to get back to sleep pretty quickly, so that was a bonus !!
Anyhoo - a big "Hello" to my reader in Russia !! I hope you are doing well today - is there any news on Pussy Riot ? Our news services seem to have forgotten about them...... So, anyways - "Hello" to you & my other readers around the World !!
It's another Tuesday, here in England..... B just went out & it seemed to be quite warm outside. The one bit of "bad news"... the NFH has returned from holiday !! Bummer - it's been really quiet around here for the last few weeks - while she was on holiday..... now we'll have to put up with The Lord knows what again !!
Our other neighbour, P, is still trying to sell his house..... his wife walked out on him & wants her half of the value !! I've been there - it's a strange law !! The man walks out & the wife - more or less - gets to keep the house. The wife walks out & she is entitled to half of it !! It's not so simple as that.... but it's a strange one !!
Another neighbour... well, her long term partner has had a heart attack !! This is a crazy old part of the World & that's for sure !!
Oh yes - I think B is getting fit to bust over another neighbour !! Their Son's have been given a drum kit, I guess for a birthday or something.... anyways - they are banging away at the thing, at all hours of the day & B is getting really fed up with it !!
I keep telling her, that there is nothing anybody can do about it.... it's not like they are banging away thru' the night or anything..... I don't mind too much, myself........ tho', sometimes, if I'm feeling poorly in the afternoon, it gets a bit much.
The "upside" of it all - if there is one.... the family cannot really complain about other people's noise, not while their Son's are hitting the drums all day long !! Onwards..... that's enough of the neighbours !!
As mentioned, B has gone out. She is taking in a couple of gym classes & doing a small shop....... getting a few things & what have you. Being a Tuesday, I get a chocolate !! It's just something B does - each Tuesday, she buys the TV mag & picks up a bar of chocolate for me... bless her !!
J is here, in his room - not sure what he's doing at the moment...... more than likely on his computer. Which leaves ME, who is at work today...... after a very bad start !! Too explain.....
She gets up, about 6am each morning, to get ready for work..... this morning tho' I was called in, to do my "spider killing act" !! There was a big house spider, about an inch & a half across, sitting in the bath, waiting for ME to get her shower !! So - I was woken up - and went got the thing for her....... I've been doing that for so long, ever since she was really small !!
ME has had a bad few days really. Not only a spider this morning, but on Saturday, her car battery died !! So, we called out the repair man - at about 9pm & by 11pm she was sorted !! Ok - I know it was late - but, we pay about £50 per month, to cover both our car & ME's for this sort of thing.
That might sound like a lot.... but, we are covered for breakdown & courtesy cars & everything - so, it's a good deal really !! Last year, or maybe the year before.... ME was heading for Uni & her old car broke down. Not only did she get brought home, she got a courtesy car for 4 days, until her's was fixed & she only had to pay £25 towards the cost of the repair !! So - it's a good deal..... if you need help, it's there to be used !!
Mind you - we won't be paying it forever !! When she eventually moves out - she will have to cover that sort of thing on her own..... not yet tho' !!
As for the music of the day.... at the moment, I'm playing a 4 Cd set from Bruce Springsteen's New York concerts, recorded in the summer of 2000 (I think). I would have to check the exact date - but, it's from around that time. I have the official 2 Cd set that came out, in 2001 (I think).... but - I prefer this version of the show(s) !!
When I was in hospital, for 7 weeks, in 2001 - I remember B bought the 2 Cd set for me, to listen to. I had a compact disc player & would play Cd's all day & some the nights as well !! I remember B bringing this in for me.... but, later I sorted out this 4 Cd set, for myself........ it's well good !!
I have a Led Zeppelin show, from this day, in 1970....... I've no doubt written about it before, but... it's the famous 'Live On Blueberry' set. It was the first ever Zeppelin bootleg, I ever owned, apart from stuff I had recorded off the radio..... and it was the first boot, I think, apart from 'pb' (Mudslide) to actually go on sale !!
Looking back on it - it was sooooo easy to pick up a copy of this, when it first came out on Lp. I actually had 2 copies, on different coloured vinyl....... my first one got a little marked up - so, I went & got a 2nd one !!
I now have it on various Cd's - so... I've picked one of those to list the tracks from:

As always, don't buy bootlegs.... save your money for the official recordings that have come out - not just by Zeppelin - but, by any group you might like !!
I mentioned yesterday, my plan to sort out the DVD's.... now that most of the video's have gone to the recycling yard. Well, I did that yesterday & it's sooooo much better !! A shelf for music, a couple of shelves for Sci-fi (mostly 'Star gate') and - more importantly - 2 shelves for B, so she can find the DVD's that she likes !!
As I type, I've been making DVD copies of various video's that we still have & that I want to keep, in some form or another !! Stuff from many years ago - that, for what ever reason, never seems to come on TV any more.... as I do them, the tape gets put back, ready for the next trip into the recycling yard..... I have got quite a few still to do, but at the end of the day, it's been worth it - just to tidy up, if nothing else !!
I actually found 2 X 4 hour tapes of AC/DC !! What the heck is on them, I have no real idea.... but, I'll check them out later. If they are any good - I'll transfer them to DVD... if not, I'll just dump them !! Onwards....

Mind you - we won't be paying it forever !! When she eventually moves out - she will have to cover that sort of thing on her own..... not yet tho' !!
As for the music of the day.... at the moment, I'm playing a 4 Cd set from Bruce Springsteen's New York concerts, recorded in the summer of 2000 (I think). I would have to check the exact date - but, it's from around that time. I have the official 2 Cd set that came out, in 2001 (I think).... but - I prefer this version of the show(s) !!
When I was in hospital, for 7 weeks, in 2001 - I remember B bought the 2 Cd set for me, to listen to. I had a compact disc player & would play Cd's all day & some the nights as well !! I remember B bringing this in for me.... but, later I sorted out this 4 Cd set, for myself........ it's well good !!
I have a Led Zeppelin show, from this day, in 1970....... I've no doubt written about it before, but... it's the famous 'Live On Blueberry' set. It was the first ever Zeppelin bootleg, I ever owned, apart from stuff I had recorded off the radio..... and it was the first boot, I think, apart from 'pb' (Mudslide) to actually go on sale !!
Looking back on it - it was sooooo easy to pick up a copy of this, when it first came out on Lp. I actually had 2 copies, on different coloured vinyl....... my first one got a little marked up - so, I went & got a 2nd one !!
I now have it on various Cd's - so... I've picked one of those to list the tracks from:

It's been a while since I've played this concert.... at the time it came out, it was really a must have - now, there are so many concerts, which in my opinion are far better, that this one sort of pales in comparison !! We were just glad to have a live Zeppelin show... well.... more another time...
As always, don't buy bootlegs.... save your money for the official recordings that have come out - not just by Zeppelin - but, by any group you might like !!
I mentioned yesterday, my plan to sort out the DVD's.... now that most of the video's have gone to the recycling yard. Well, I did that yesterday & it's sooooo much better !! A shelf for music, a couple of shelves for Sci-fi (mostly 'Star gate') and - more importantly - 2 shelves for B, so she can find the DVD's that she likes !!
As I type, I've been making DVD copies of various video's that we still have & that I want to keep, in some form or another !! Stuff from many years ago - that, for what ever reason, never seems to come on TV any more.... as I do them, the tape gets put back, ready for the next trip into the recycling yard..... I have got quite a few still to do, but at the end of the day, it's been worth it - just to tidy up, if nothing else !!
I actually found 2 X 4 hour tapes of AC/DC !! What the heck is on them, I have no real idea.... but, I'll check them out later. If they are any good - I'll transfer them to DVD... if not, I'll just dump them !! Onwards....
Right, my plans for today.... none at all really. I'll just kick back & play music, while I'm doing the tapes. That sounds like a plan to me.... so, again, I thank you for logging in... until next time...
