From Jonathan & Charlotte to Pink Floyd, Joe Bonamassa & other stuff....

Hello Worlds !!

How has the Internet Universe been treating you today ? It's another Tuesday, here in the wilds of England.... a bit on the cold side, with more than a little rain to go with it - but, nothing too exciting !!

Parts of the country have been having floods & really bad weather - so, compared to that, we've been pretty lucky so far, I guess.  Anyways - onwards !!

I've done next to nothing today..... I've not been lazy, just haven't been in the mood to do very much, that's all !!  I landed up, yesterday, sleeping for quite a bit, in the afternoon... and, the same thing nearly happened today !!  But, rather than give in, to my bodies lack of "get up & go"... well, I just stayed here in the living room !!  I put some old videos in & transferred them over to disc & basically chilled out for the day !!

As I type - I'm recording the old 'Gum-ball Rally' film... I honestly don't know how old it is.... but, we've had it for years.... so, unless I can find it on DVD some place, this copy will do !! Oh well....

As for the family.... B has just gone out to help at Weight Watchers & will be home in an hour or two... J is here, upstairs, keeping an eye on me... which just leaves ME, who is working today.  She has just had 3 days off, now she has to work today & tomorrow !!  Hopefully, she will be home around 9pm !!

So - with everybody "doing their own thing"... it just leaves me here typing these words & listening to the Pink Floyd 1975 concert.... which I mentioned over the last few days !!  It is a great copy of the concert tho' - it will get lots of plays over the coming weeks !!

I don't have any Zeppelin concerts from today... but, in a day or two, things will be back on track !! So - more later in the week.....

Tomorrow night, we're having some friends over, from Church.... their first visit in more than a little while !! It will be good to see them again tho'....... and I'll get to know more about our chances of going to Temple, at some point !!

Then - on Thursday - we're having more Church visitors... this time, the two Missionaries..... not the new ones, the lads who have been here for quite a while now.

So - after going, what seems like, for ages.... we're having 2 sets of visitors, from The Church, in two days !! I know this is all leading some place - probably, as I've said before... with a trip to Temple, but it all seems a little too much, too soon..... !!

Having not heard anything, about being allowed to go to Temple, in 4 years... well, it does seem a little rushed at the moment !!  Life will go on.... no matter what, but... I'm not holding my breath about it
all !!

Just going back, to music & to yesterday.....  B's latest birthday pressy reach her safely !!  It was a Cd by a couple called Jonathan & Charlotte & the Cd (which came out yesterday) is called 'Together'.  It seems like these two were on a talent show, of some sort.... but, the first time I saw anything of them, was on Breakfast TV, last week.

I could see from B's face, she liked what she heard by the two of them... so, the Cd has been added to her list of birthday pressy's !!

Now then - I like music, from rock thru' to whatever.... but, these two can really sing !!  I would recommend this Cd to anyone - it's a little on the short side, but it's well good & worth your money !!

Also, yesterday... I had the official Joe Bonamassa 'Live At The Beacon Theatre' come thru' - as yet, I've hardly played it !!  From what I've listen to, so far, it's pretty much like the DVD soundtrack, that I did for myself, a few months back !!  But, as always - it's worth having the official Cd's of the show.......

Right - my plans for tonight..... well.... I'm going to get an early night, being as we are having visitors tomorrow night !!  I don't want to be falling asleep while they're here !!  That would not be very good really.... a bit rude... !!

I do have a few odds & ends to sort out.... but nothing that won't wait.... nothing that I'm going to worry about at least !!  So - with the video & Cd's coming to an end - I better be on my ways & sort those out, before I forget.... !!
