Allman Brothers & Nurses... Ho-hum !!

Well "Greetings" World's !!

A big  "Hello" to my Russian reader - who seems to read my words... even when I'm too busy to write anything new !! I thank you for your time, it's nice to know you are there !!

Ok - it's a Monday... I think, here in England... and it's about 2pm. Sat on the floor, just to my left, is my beautiful Daughter ME... she has been writing some letters (not sure what about) and is now looking for some envelopes, to post them in !! Helping with this search is My Wife & Dearest Friend B, who had some (envelopes) last night - but, can no longer remember where they are !! To the rescue - I've handed over some smaller ones.... not perfect... but, they seem to be Ok !!

So - that's the family - where those who still live here.... which just leaves J - who as some of you will know, is at Uni in Wales. As far as I know, he seems to be happy in his choice. B gets some text messages from him, but.... that's all I know folks !!

The music of the moment is, of course, another of my new Allman Brothers concerts !! This time, it's a 3 Cd set from Chicago - recorded on August 20th of this year. The tracks are:

Now then - I'm a big love of the Allman's - go on, admit it, you all know I am.... and, I love their live sets !! Usually, I'm over the moon if they do some really long tracks on them.... on this one tho' - only 3 of the tracks are over 10 minutes in length & one of them hardly counts, but... it's a really good set !! With tracks like 'Gilded Splinters' lasting a mere 5 & a bit minutes, it's a very "tight" set list... really good !! A special bonus - is the inclusion of 'Rain' + 'Spots Of Time' - I'm well happy with this one, I really am !! One of the better ones, that I've heard lately.... onwards !!

It's about 2.30.... which means, in a very short while, the nurses will be here to change my back dressings - that's going to be "fun"..... it's been hurting like hell, this weekend, so - I'm not really looking forward to today's session !! Anyhoo - I'll take a beak here & get back to this, as & when I can....

Ok - it's now an hour later & the nurses have gone !! Today, Jo came with one of her "bosses" - who came really, I think, to find out why it's taking sooooo long to heal up. To help, I printed off a copy of the earliest pictures I have of the wound..... which, honestly shows my back bone & everything..... that was enough to convince her how well the nurses have done, in getting it sorted out, over the last month & a bit, since I came out of hospital !!

It seems that the ladies are going to continue coming to visit me, 3 times a week....... but, I can live with that, as long as things continue improving, the way they are !! My biggest fear is that the infection will return & - if that happens - things will go back to how they were !! I do not want that.... I really do not !!

I had to go to the hospital yesterday evening.... I was in sooooo much pain, with my back, they called an ambulance out, to take me to the hospital. After some x-rays, I was told I had to wait to see a spinal doctor - but, as they couldn't tell me exactly when that was going to happen & ME + B were with me, well - I went against the doctors advice & signed myself out.... it was nearly 3am when we got home & - as I said to the Dr's - if the x-rays show anything, give me a call !!

There is only so much waiting around, that I can expect the ladies of the house to put up with - so, home I came.... and as nobody has 'phoned, I'll expect things are Ok !! Life goes on.....

Right, my plans for today... none at all really.... !! I don't have anything lined up & to be honest, I'm glad of that - after their (the nurses) visit, the pain takes a while to subside.... nevermind, it's getting better & that's brilliant, it really is !!

Ok - I think I will be on my ways...... I'm sure I'll think of something else to write about - but, for now, I thank you all for logging in & reading my words.... until next time....
