Ten Years After... again... ho-hum.

Greetings World's !!

It's a cold Saturday, here in England - B & I have just got back, from a trip into town.... it's not too nice outside !! Nevermind... it's warmer in here, I'm glad to say. I've felt like crap, for most of the last 24 hours - some sort of bug, oh well..... !!

I've just had a 'phone call, from the Missionaries..... they want to come over for a visit !! I explained about my bug - but... they still want to come over !! Bless them.... As I said, if they catch my bug, they will not love me anymore !! But - they're coming over tomorrow - about 4pm.... hopefully they will not catch anything !!

Back to our trip into town.... I picked up a copy of Joe Bonamassa's new album... 'Different Shades Of Blue' - I will give it a listen... not for a while tho' - B is watching another part of 'The West Wing' !!

If I've not written about this before - we started watching all of the seasons, from number one.... we're right up to season 4... I'm not sure what episode... they all blend into each other, after a while !! Nevermind... I still think Jed Bartlett (sp) was the best president that America never had !! Oh well.... back to the family !!

B is sat a few feet away from me, knitting ME (our Daughter) a pair of gloves.... a kind of pink colour, with white in there - hopefully she will like them..... B sure does knit well - a skill handed down, from generation, to generation..... sort of !! Smudge, our oldest cat, is sat with her... I think he wants to eat the wool !!

Back with the family.... ME - our Daughter - hasn't been around, for a day or two.... hopefully she is doing Ok - she & her partner - M - are a brilliant couple, bless them... plus their cat.. Bruce !!

As for our Son - J.... well, there is next to nothing I can tell you about him, except he is someplace !! I've not heard from him, in more than a while - if he's doing Ok, I have no idea !! Life goes on.... and that's a fact !! We're not 100% sure, what his long term plans are... maybe we're see him for Christmas - that's up to him.....

Back to music - even tho' I wasn't talking too much about it before... I've had a really good, but strange day !!

If  you go back to yesterday - I wrote about a Ten Years After track... 'Love Like A Man'... Well, in the post, this morning - as if by magic... I had 3 more Ten Years After albums !! To get 3, in one go - well - that was a bit of a fluke !! Anyhoo... they are:

'Undead' - from 1968
'Stonedhenge' - I think from about the same time..
'Roadworks' from their 2004 tour, unfortunately, without Alvin Lee

I'll give them all a play, over the coming days & weeks, well I have time !! As I've said before... too many albums & too few brain cells !! It is great tho' - to have some new Cd's to listen to - even tho' I don't really have time at the moment !!

I must also give a mention to the Status Quo concert, that was on our BBC radio - a few nights ago... it's really good !! B was tapping her foot along to it, earlier - it's really a great bit of fun !! Give it a listen, if you get chance...

Right my plans, for the rest of the day.... as usual, none at all !!

I just want to kick back & rest up - if this bug doesn't get the best of me first !! I really do feel like crap.. oh well !! For now, as usual - I thank you for logging & reading my words.... until next time....

No - not really....

A guy from this country, was killed while fighting with the IS forces........ if he becomes some kind of person, that others look up to, well - that would really stink.... each to their own... but.... until next time..
