Tom Petty 'Hypnotic Eye' & other stuff..

Hi & Greetings World's !!

I hope your bit of the Universe is treating you well ?! It's another Wednesday - here in the wilds of England..... well, the South-Western part, at least  - I can not tell you what day it is, in other parts of England.... I guess it depends on how your brain is working !!

Anyhoo - I'm home & the music is blasting away quite nicely..... more of that later.

As I type, B is upstairs - I think in her "Craft Cave" - she was here, just a short while ago.... not to worry. It's only a small house - so, our paths will cross again soon. I hope so - mainly as, in a very short while, I have to head into town, to get my dressings changed again !!

I wish I had kept a count, on how many times I've had my dressings taken care of !! It's been at least 3 times a week.... since last May - of last year, I should say !! It all started in May 2013 & - well, I wish I had kept a count..... it must be pushing into the hundreds now !! Oh well...

If you here screams... at around 2pm - you will know it's me !! No - I'm not that bad.... I just go into my bubble & let the nurse do her job !! Bless her - I quite like the lady who has been working on me, over the last few weeks... she does her best not to hurt me too much !!

Staying with the rest of the family - and to fill in the blanks, for my "new" reader.... "Hi" to you & I thank you for your question...

Apart from B - My Wife & Dearest Friend.... we have two children. ME - our Daughter & J - our Son. Neither of who live here any more, having settled into their own lives !! I also have a Son, from a former marriage..... as far as I know, he lives over in Canada - tho', to be honest, I have no idea where he lives now !!...... I hope that answers your question ?!

As I type, the music of the moment is Tom Petty's album 'Hypnotic Eye' which, I believe, came out earlier in the year.... the tracks are:

I only pick it up a few days ago & this is the first time that I've given it a play thru'... so far so good !! I loved his album 'Mojo' - which must have come out a good while ago..... plus, of course, the various live sets he's done over the years !!

Anyhoo - apart from listening to the album - I'm trying out my new Cd deck....... seeing if it actually records !! I bought the thing, at least, a month ago - sooooo, I figured I ought to see if it does actually do what it says on the packaging !!

B helped me wire everything in - last week, I guess.... so, this is the first time I've tried it out !! All of the lights are on - and, as I'm listening to Tom Petty, I decided to record the Cd..... it's not as if I'm going to cry, if the thing doesn't work...... If I was trying it out, on something irreplaceable, well - then I would get upset !!

I'll see what happens - as with all of my stuff, it takes a while to get it "set up[" the way I want it..... I used to get pretty pissed off, if things went wrong... not now tho...... well, maybe just a little !!

Ok - my plans for today...

Well, in a little over an hour, as mentioned, I have to go to the hospital, to see the nurse... apart from that, I don't really have that much that I want to do !! I should really tidy off my computer table & see what is burred underneath the various magazines - which, at the moment, seem to be all over the place.

So - I will away, for today... I thank you all, for taking the time, to log in & read my words... until next time..
