Another day.. and no music !!

I hope you all doing well this really hot day, here in England !! I've no idea how things are in the rest of the Universe, mainly as I'm still well & truly stuck in this bloody hospital !! I kid you not - it really is hot today + I and I am still in hospital !! But never mind......

But first, the family.....

B came in to see me earlier (it's about 9 pm now) and, as always, it great to see her !! It gets really boring in here...so I'm really pleased when My Wife & Dearest Friend pops her head around the door !! I had to 'phone her earlier, as I've moved bays. To explain - the ward is made up of 4 bays & 2 or 3 "side rooms"....

As they were looking for space, in the bay where I was & nobody else wanted to move.... I was "it" so to speak !! I think the guy beside me, knew - that by moving bays - he wouldn't the attention he had become use to....... It's Ok - it's really quiet here........ which I'm happy about - I might get a full nights sleep !!

As for the rest of the "Clan" - well, nobody has been in...... tho' B says ME is coming to visit me, tomorrow night. That will be nice, especially as she going back to work on Monday - after about a week off - and that will probably mean I won't see her for a while. Oh well......

As for J - well, apart from hating my guts & biting B's head off - about not over sleeping, when he gets to Uni - I don't really expect to see him, anytime soon. Oh well......... not to worry !!

Long time readers will remember The "Neighbour From Hell" (NFH)..... well, after about a year, they have started the work on their house. Stage one, appears to a big shed, in the garden, to store stuff. It went up today, while B was here, with me. I 'phone B, a short while ago & she told me about it.

I don't really care - as long as they don't block our entrance !! B has put an "A4" size sign, pointing out that, the entrance is used 24 hours a day..... so, they hadn't start messing us around, or we'll set the cats on them !!

Someone has died on the ward - the guys have just wheeled them out. I hope it's not someone from the other bay, that I was on - I kind of got to like those guys !! Mind you - it's sad, no matter who it was....

Back to yesterday... Friday.......... I had my 5th surgery & hopefully my last, but one. For some unknown reason, I was in a right messed up "high" when I got back to the ward !! I don't know what happened - but it wasn't funny !!

As for the surgery itself - it seems to have gone well........ They seem to have closed up the biggest part of my wound, but I still have a large chunk of it l to be dealt with. I'm not sure if that can be done in one surgery, or maybe even 2 or (hopefully not) 3 !! Time will tell, I guess........ but I'm going to be stuck here for a week or 2 longer.... "Boo-Hoo"

I've just been told - it wasn't one of the guys I knew.... it was a "very sick old lady"... It's still sad for the family left behind, my prayers go out to them this evening.

As for the music of the moment - well, there isn't any !! I've not played anything, at all, the whole day !! I really didn't feel too well, during the morning & after lunch, B came along to visit. Since then - well, I've done next to nothing - before starting tonight's posting...... kind of lazy really, but there bis very little to do here as it is !!

But - staying with music... a friend is sending a couple of new boots my way by Led Zeppelin...... so, that will give me something else to play, when I get home...... eventually !! I'm going to have so much to listen to.... it's really going to have lots of fun !! Oh well...... I better think about going to bed...
