Hello everybody.......

Greetings World's !!

I trust you are all doing well this hot & humid evening ?! It's a late - well, 9pm-ish - end to the day, for me... and first off, I better say a sorry for not writing anything, over the last few days...... "Sorry"... but, it's not been a lot of fun !!

First the news..... we have had the birth of a future King !! It seems it all happened this afternoon - but, I didn't get to hear about it, until a short while ago !! To explain.......

I'm still in the blooming hospital and as such, I'm not watching any TV.... or listening to any radio, for that matter.... anyhoo - one of the guys here had a phone call, from his Wife, to tell him the news. Well, as I'm the only one here, with a laptop.... I was moaned at, for not having told anyone sooner - by logging in to the BBC's web site !! Honestly - you guys - if you want to know the news, watch the TV's.... at £10 a day, or bring in your own computers & do it yourselves !!

As it was - I didn't have the computer on anyways......... and as soon as I did, one of them wanted to know the spelling of some words, for a text he was sending !! Oh well....

Back to more important matters... the family !!

As our car was in for it's yearly MOT test... I didn't expect B to visit today. So, when her & ME walked in, it truly was a fantastic
surprise !! MY fantastic looking Daughter had her haircut & then brought B into Taunton to come & see me !! A nice & thoughtful surprise !! They stayed about a hour - so, as I wasn't expecting them - it was great !!

As for J - well, he still hates my guts.... so, as always, it's not likely I'm going to see him, anytime soon !!

Getting back to the car & it's MOT test. It passed - but it's going to be very expensive !! Things I should of checked myself - well, they had to be replaced & I'm guessing we're going to be charged top rate garage prices.... oh well !!

Nevermind.... it's one of those things !!

Back to the hospital.... I've been here so long, I'm wondering whether or not if to get my post re-directed !! No - I'm only joking !! It's only been 8 weeks ago, this very day, that I was admitted.... despite all of the drawbacks, I'm still glad I went ahead with the whole thing !!

Unfortunately, one of those drawbacks... well, on Friday, of last week, I had surgery number 6 !! Honestly - you couldn't write a better story, if you tried !! I came in, for one surgery - knowing there were some risks... and 56 days later, I've had 6 of the bloody things - with at least one or two, still to go !! What to do !!

Well, there is very little I can do about it !! I can say "screw you, I've had enough of this" and go home with a big hole in my back..... or, I can put up with it all & hope they - eventually - get it right !! Oh well...... I can still bloody moan.

Anyhoo.... the music of the moment - none at all !!

I was playing quite a lot earlier.... all sorts of stuff really. Some classic rock, right thru' to some real classical music !! Oh well.... not to worry... there is some Within Temptation lined up & ready to go !! Oh - I forgot....

All 4 of the Elders have been in to visit me over the last 2 days !! I don't see a single Latter Day Saint (Wife not included) for over 8 weeks & then 6 or 7 of them show up inside 4 days !! What is this World coming t !!

One of them made me laugh - mainly as he was sooooo shocked !! To explain........ I showed them the pictures, taken of my back, before it was stitched up (last time) - it's not a pretty sight, but he was quite interested...... then he asked the question - was I awake, when the picture was taken ? !! He was shell-shocked, to know that, despite having a gaping hole, in my back, over 30cm long, I was not only awake - but allowing myself to be photographed as well !! It was great fun, to see his face - he couldn't believe it !! Maybe English men have a bigger pain thresh-hole than their American counter-parts !!

That's going to get me some bad press & that's for sure !!

I must away - 'tis getting late & my head is getting tired....... the rest of me fell asleep about an hour ago !! Oh well.....
