Brothers & Sisters

Hi everybody !!

I hope you are all happy ?! I think most of the UK is wilting in the heat at moment - it really is very hot...... but, as with all of my most recent post - I'm still stuck in blooming hospital !! It's now been 7 weeks & 4 days, since I came in - not that I'm counting !!

A couple of times recently, I've been asked - kind of thrown into conversations - whether, or not, I'm feeling depressed. Which I hasten to say, as I've said to the staff asking the questions, I'm not !! But after sooooo long, in this place..... I'm really starting to get
bored !!

There is only so many times you can count the tiles in the ceiling, or look out the window - and count the illegal smokers !! This is a "smoke free" zone...... which means, in theory, tho' not practice, that - if you need to smoke...... well, you cannot do it inside of the hospital's buildings or grounds. That all sounds really good - but, it's a big place & there is no way then can enforce the rule !!

I guess tho' - if you smoke a lot (which I don't) - being stuck inside this place must be a kind of "hell". A guy - in this little area - smokes a lot & he sneaks out, for a "bit of fresh air", about 10 times during the day & a equal amount during the night !!

I've no problem with him smoking - but he does wake me up, as he goes out, in the night....... mainly as he's often as not, connected to some "thing" or another, which, when he has disconnected himself, starts "beeping" noises. Of course - it only beeps..... long after he has left the room !!

Oh well.... that's my moan of the day....... oh no - I do have once more !!

There is a guy, in here, who has to wear the same kind of brace as me....... Well, this morning, a nurse was "helping" him put the thing on..... and it was fitted wrongly - so, I said as much......... only to be told, in a sarcastic way, to shut up.

Anyhoo - the physio's are here, now as I type, and the nurse was wrong !! So, when I see her again...... I will have to - some how - point out, that - in this case, was right....... !! I will enjoy doing
that. !!

Right... the family......

Well, so far - I've not seen anyone today........ maybe later, time will tell on that one.

As for the music of the moment... well, I was playing The Doors 'In Concert'..... it was the 2 Cd set & I really enjoyed listening to that..... it's been a while ( a long while) since I have, so.........

Oh... B brought me the new 4 Cd version of 'Brothers & Sisters' by the Allman Brothers Band. The packaging is really great - and the tracks, the extra's - well, I can't wait to play it, as soon as I get
home !! If - and at the moment, it's a big if - I get home, for another day visit - I'll try and put it on the Mini Egg.... there is still plenty of
room !!

Ok - I shall be off for now..... I know, it's been a short, crap kind of post...... but, there is very little to write about, at the moment !!
