Greetings.....

Well, greetings Worlds.... how are you all doing this fine, hot day ?

It's a Wednesday, here in England..... and, even tho' I'm stuck in this bloody hospital, the Sun is blasting thru' the windows & the temperature is rising.... higher & higher !! It's almost too warm, but luckily, one of the nurses has opened a few of the windows, to cool us down a bit !! It seems almost dumb, that here we are, trying to get well - yet the thought of giving us cool, fresh air to blow over us.... well, it's some un-written rule, you can't have have natural air in the room !! Oh well........ life goes on, and on !!

Anyhoo - it's been a good day, so far....... tho' - last night wasn't so good !! With-out any warning, we were moved, from our perfectly quiet room, all the ways down the building, to one of the worst spots there was to have !! A Real bummer....... so, last night I spent most of the time, reading book one of 'A Game Of Thrones'. I actual woke up, at 5 this morning, with the reading light on & the book in my lap !! I didn't mind that so much, but I couldn't get back to sleep - that was a bummer !! Oh well.......

So, now, at 4.30pm  I'm completely knackered !! Even trying to sleep during our "quiet time" (after lunch) was ruined by a guy, who for some reason has visitors at all hours of the day. I no problem with that - but they really are too loud for my liking !!  If only they could be a bit quieter, I would be a happy man !!

Nevermind......

Back to the family......

I've not seen either of the "kids" since Saturday...... when ME & M came in........ I've not seen J at all, these past 5 weeks - he hates my guts, so.... that's up to him !! Tonight B is taking him, with her, to her Dad's place - to pick up his TV.

As mentioned before - he is moving house and doesn't want the TV anymore - so, it's coming our way. I don't know how good it is, but we might be able to make use of it - either that, or it will go to the dump !! Time will tell on that one......

I mentioned B.... well, she was here this afternoon, for a couple of hours. It's really great to see her, it's nice to know she is still hanging in there and not letting my - over long - stay here, get to her too much !! Tho' - when I called her, last night, she wasn't overly happy !! The quicker I get home, the better..... tho' I doubt that J will find that prospect too exciting.... I repeat, he hates my guts, and there is little else I can say on that - with-out going over a 6 week old story, which, at the moment, I don't want to get into....... !!

As for the music of the  moment..... well, it's been mostly old concerts by Rush. It's quite strange how the music, that they do on stage has "mellowed" for want of a better word. Some stuff I was playing from the mid 70's was really heavy rock.... now, it's much more - um, mellow !! Still good tho' - I would say to all of you, give them a listen !!

A friend of mine, calls their music some strange name.... but, it's still good. Going back a goodly number of years, I sent a Rush Lp, out to a friend in Russia....... he wasn't too keen, not heavy enough !! So - I sent him out an Iron Maiden Lp - only to have the authorities mail it back - Iron Maiden were not welcome in the USSR !!

Anyways - I best be on my ways....... I thank you all for logging in & reading my words - I'm so glad, given the number of weeks I didn't write, that I wasn't deserted by you all............. many thanks, to you all !!
