So, it's a Tuesday (again) and I'm sat here typing these words - with the guys eating there evening meal a few feet away from me !! I can't say it smells all that good, but it's food and they are not complaining... so that's a bonus !!
Actually, it's only 2 of the guys... J & ME.... B is out at weight watchers or whatever it's called. Bless her - she has lost 10% - so that is pretty cool, but I love her no matter what !! She is my Wife & my Dearest Friend...... nobody is going to take that away from me.
Anyhooo - for once I'm not playing any music !! The guys are watching TV, so I'll save the Cd's for later..... it'll be the 'new' Whitesnake live album - how do I know this ? Simple, it's already in the deck and will be played as soon as possible !! The reason it's ready to go is 'simple' - I got a copy of the album today and I want to hear it.... just as soon as the guys finish with the TV !! Never mind - it's their home as well, so I can put up with no music for a while....... a little while that is !!
Oh, the album is 'Live At Donington 1990'..... it was on the BBC live-ish on the day and I'm guessing I have a tape of it here someplace, but - well, it's nice to have a Cd of the show !! I would of liked to have got a copy of the 1983 show - as I was at that one, but.... it's a good live set, so no moaning on my part !!
Ok, so what's new ? Not that much really...... B took me to Taunton today to do some shopping, so that was great to get out for a while and just look around the place - just to look, without much time pressure, which meant we could just go at our own pace.
Mind you, B did most of the shopping - me, I just hung out and followed her about as best I could !! Since I got my new chair, I've been able to zip around at my own speed and that's brilliant as far as I'm concerned... real fun !! I'm not reliant on people pushing me - unless it's really uphill or I'm poorly - no biggy !!
Taunton was pretty crowded really - we were surprised, considering it was a week day morning..... I guess people go out when they can - today was their time as well, but it was crowded. Didn't see any Elder's to "shout at"... but they were busy I guess. Never mind, life goes on and on and on.....
One good thing about toady - I finally got J's bedroom furniture completed !! Yippeeeeee - J helped as much as he could, so - that's his room finished, brilliant !! Now I can get on with the rest of the landing area - maybe tomorrow, I'll see. I have a lot of sanding down to do first, before I even think of painting !! It's mostly going to be gloss stuff - which I hate (especially the smell)..... but, that's what I got left - so it has to be done !! I can't leave the job part done.... no way !! It will be done, maybe after I've had a couple days rest.
Anyways - I just remembered 'Quantum Leap' is on again tonight, so I'm thinking the music will wait a while longer..... never mind, it's a good show and I can use the time to slow down a bit !! Not that I'm rushing around that much - not this late in the day....... for now tho'.....
