A Late Night Trip... in more ways than one !!

Greetings !!

Isn't life strange ?! I'll try & explain why.......

Having done a full days work, ME has come home - only to find she still has her work keys in her pocket. Now - having been home, for less than an hour, she - along with B... for support.... is now driving the 40 odd miles, back to work, to return them !!

She works with people with learning disabilities - most of who live at the place. I mention this, because.... as it's a home, with lots of people there, you would think they would have, at least, one set of spare keys, for the place !!

Never mind... the ladies of the house are now out, for a couple of hours - leaving me here, with J... blasting the music thru' my head phones & I am well happy..... B gave me my evening drugs, about 2 hours ago & now - well, given the stuff I'm on... lets just say, I'm well happy !!

I was expecting to write anything today - but, as I don't really want to be in bed yet, I thought I would a few words & listen to some music at the same time. At the moment, I'm playing 'Lost Angeles' by Colosseum & it's well good !!

I'm actually transferring another Project 87 tape, over to Cd..... I hadn't done one, for a day or two & I needed to get going on them again.... just to keep up with it all !! So far, I've transferred 28 tapes & I'm on Cd 36, so... there is very chance of fitting it onto the 50 Cd's as I hoped !! Bummer - no, not really..... it will take as long as it takes & that's all there is to it really !! it is great fun tho'...... listening to these old tracks !!

Remember, all of the tapes were recorded in 1987... so, there is nothing on them, that is from anything newer than that. It was my musical diary, of that year & I'm really getting a buzz, by listening to them again !!

Oh - the Allman Brothers Box set, will be posted soon !! I had another lovely e-mail, from Lady V letting me know that things were coming together.... hopefully it will come soon..... then maybe, I can get the shows onto the Mini Egg, before going back to the hospital !! That would be cool !!

Talking about the hospital.... I've mentioned before, that I have to see another Consultant. Well It's quite possible that I will meet him next week !! After a quick phone call, he left a message, to say he would see me on Tuesday..... but, a short while later, that has to be called off, as he is busy that day &, as he wants to see me in person - not let a junior Dr see me - and from that meeting, his findings will go up the chain, to my spinal Consultant & then we will know what is going to happen. Mind you - I thought all of this, back a week or so,  & was kind of upset.

Never mind...... if things happen - well. that will be a huge benefit to me & B....... but, as I don't think it's going to happen, I'm sort of giving up, on the whole thing !! I'll have to let you know, as & when I have any news to report !!

B went up to a local sea side town to day, to collect her prize, of a free hair cut....it was sooooo cold there !! It was really blowing in, across the beach area & it was well chilly, I can tell you... we got home safe & sound - so, no big problems along the ways....... plus B has a really good hair style now, tho' just a little shorter than normal, for her !!

Ok, I must think about signing off soon.... but, first - did anybody watch the Brit Awards, last night ?! It started well, with Muse blasting a thing out, but then - well, it went down hill from that moment onwards !!

The low point, for me at least.... well, it had to be those lads in One Direction !! When someone called them the biggest band of all time, well... come on !! It's alright ripping off, at their concerts, while all the girls are screaming & nobody can hear what they are singing....... but, last night, they just were embarrassing !! They murdered the song they sang.... the best band,  you really need to get checked self into rehab quickly !! Oh well, I guess they are the flavour of the month - but, please....don't call people, who are put together, by a management team.... a band !! A band involves a lot more than looking pretty & singing like shit !!
