Another Monday.... & more music !!

Greetings World's !!

It's a very bright Monday, here in England...... I thought about it, a few hours ago - B & I were just waking up, to a bright dawn & I couldn't help notice, given how early it was... well, how light it was !! Only a week or two ago, we were having really dark mornings.... now, almost with-out noticing, the mornings have got brighter, heading into Spring, I guess !!

Having said that - tomorrow will be dark, dank & dismal !! Never mind - I'll take whatever the good Lord gives us !!

Ok - enough of the weather forecast !!

As mentioned - it's another Monday. I didn't write over the weekend.... I needed a bit of a breather, to be with the guys & to just "chillax" as my Daughter has a habit of saying !! We - well, B & I - went into town, on Saturday, to pick up a bit of food & stuff. The supermarket was really hectic... so, I didn't go a lot on that... but, for a change, I enjoyed the chance to get out of the house !!

I did get a little pissed at one woman...... B was opening the boot of the car, ready to put my chair away & the groceries & this lady literally pushed me out of the way !! Honestly... I was just sat there, waiting for B to give me the car keys - then I get a push from behind, as this lady went to go past me !!

It's what we call the "does he drink tea" syndrome !! Yes, I am disabled & yes, I do have the use of a wheelchair - but ...... I also have a brain & can move myself thank you !! All the lady had to do, was say "excuse me" & I would of moved out of her way !! But, no... she saw a guy in a wheelchair, took it for granted, that I was a "plank" & moved me herself !!

Oh well....... next time, I'll run her over.... and then, just for the heck of it, go back & run her over some more !!

Right... the family...

B has gone up to her Dad's place, to help him out with a few odds & ends. I probably mentioned before, that he is selling his house, in order to get some money - or as he puts it, get a smaller place !! Each to their own I guess !! Anyhoo - B has gone up, to help with some stuff he can't manage. She will be home, in an hour or three.... depending how long it all takes...

I could of gone, for the ride along..... but, I didn't fancy that today. I'm quite happy here, playing music & stuff !! Which, at this very moment, is Led Zeppelin's 'Carouselambra' - from their 'In Through The Out Door' album.

I'm still moving stuff, from tapes to Cd's & this is one of the tracks, I've done, this morning. I'm still disappointed that they didn't play anything from this album, when the 2007 concert happened !! Oh well - maybe they just wanted to forget about the album...."Hello !!" Some of us really liked it guys !! Nevermind.

With B out & ME at work... that just leaves J, here, to look out for me. I will be good today & not give him too much to worry about !!

I am still putting things onto the Mini Egg...... but, it's getting to the point where I have sooooo many Cd's on the table, in front of me, that I need to have a good go at moving some of them !! It all takes time tho' - so, I am not going to rush anything !!

The music has just changed to 'Los Desaparecidos' by Little Steven..... I really love this track - it means so very much to me !! Not only that - it means I have reached the half way point, on the 'Project 87' tapes !! Yippee !! I think - so far - I've used 28 Cd's to record 21 tapes.... I knew it was going to take a lot of discs... but, I was hoping to keep it under 50 !! I don't think that's likely now..... not at this rate, at least !!

Ok - my plans, for today & the rest of the week.....

I don't think I have a 'clinic' meeting this week... well, unless the lady's plans change... so, that will give me a break, before going back into the hospital, on Thursday & Friday !! It's the week, when I find out, one way or another, what they plan on doing !!

For those, who haven't read my page before ("Hello to you")... It is likely that i will be having another surgery, in the not too distant future. If it happens, I think it will make it my 5th or 6th surgery, in the last 2 years.... tho' - to be honest - I've really lost count !! lets say the last 3 years, just to be on the safe side....

However, this next one... well, B is worried to death about it... not the surgery itself, but "what if" something goes wrong ?! So... along with ME telling me "It's really going to hurt" and stuff - well, it's going to be a "biggie" and we'll settle for that !!

But - on Thursday, I will know, for sure, what the plan is & whether, or not, I want to go ahead with it... which, considering what's likely to happen... well, I'm not going to say no !! But - it will be good, to know for sure !!

That's all going to happen, on Thursday... and, if all goes to plan... on Friday, I go back & have a few tests done, on my lungs... to make sure I am fit enough, to have the surgery in the first place - or something like that !!

So - all in all - it's going to be a bit of a hectic week !! Nevermind.... life is good......

Oh - I forgot..... as mentioned before, in earlier posts - we have missed Church, since before Christmas. It's been a combination of things, but.... well.... On Saturday night, The Bishop 'phoned & we talked thru' a few things & he is more than happy with us, to continue, as we are, until we can think things thru' - once we get all the surgery stuff behind us !!

So - that was nice of him........ we will no doubt talk again, in the not so far future !!

But - for now... I really must be on my ways..... things to do & stuff !! Well, not really..... but it sounds good !! So... until next time....
