The Master's Apprentices.......

Greetings Worlds !!

It's the end of another week.... a cold & breezy Saturday afternoon. B & I have just come home from a quick trip to the supermarket, it's well cold out there !! Never mind - I'll light the fire in a little while & that will soon warm the house up !!

Just taken a break - the fire is now lit & should be warming up the room, very shortly !! Even tho' I put the heating on, about 11am... it hasn't done very much so far. The flames should help tho'.... It's purely coincidental - but, as I type - the track playing is 'Steam' by peter Gabriel !! Now - that's what we need to warm the place up.... steam pipe, going from room to room...... !!

B, J & your's truly are home at the moment.... and ME is out (thankfully on a day off work) with her boyfriend M.... I think they are coming back here for supper, in a few hours, so I better make sure the house has warmed up by then !!

As mentioned.... I'm playing a Peter Gabriel track at the moment... from his 'Secret World Live' DVD - which, is my usual thing..... a Cd which I've made of the DVD. For first time readers ("Hello") - I do this a lot.... buy a DVD & then record the soundtrack over to a Cd.... it's much more fun !!

I was playing a collection by Australia's Master's Apprentices..... a sort of 'best of' selection. I only have 3 albums by the band.... plus 3 collections. I must look check up, on the Net, to see what else they recorded !! It's thanks to one of my Australian pen-pals..... from many years ago, that I first heard of them..... and I've been hooked ever since !!

I mentioned, earlier in the week, about the chance I was seeing the 2nd Consultant...... his staff lady had 'phoned here to see if I could attend a clinic, on Tuesday - then called back, to cancel it..... When, since then, she has called back & the Tuesday appointment is back
on !!

It's all very complicated.... but.... My main Consultant wants me to see the 2nd Consultant, to check out a few things & that's now going to happen on Tuesday afternoon, at about 3pm.... or there about !! So - despite my feelings of "nothing is going to happen".... things are still moving along !! I hope, if they can do the surgery, that it will be done as soon as possible..... it's going to be May - at least - before I go back again, to see the "main" guy.... so, I don't want to be hanging around all thru' the Summer !!

I was stuck in the hospital, right thru' August & most of September once.... it was sooooo hot in there, at the time !! Even sleeping with the windows open, it wasn't very nice at all..... hopefully.... well, we'll see how things go along this time !! I'm still not convinced anything is going to happen..... but, we'll see.....

Right, my plans for today & the rest of the weekend.... none at all !! I will no doubt put some more albums onto the Mini Egg..... but, I'm not sure about that. I want a quiet day really.......

...... mainly as, once again, I landed up on the floor last night !! Bummer.... I was in the kitchen & felt a bit poorly, next thing I know, I'm on the floor coming around !! Nevermind.... B was there to look after me.... so, all was well with the World !!

Maybe, tomorrow, we'll shock everybody & go back to The Taunton Church.... even tho' - as far as we know - we are no longer in that particular area !! I tell you - The Church really does make life hard at times !! The weekend will come & go, no matter what..... so, I will away for now.... until next time...
