A Very Wet & Clod day In England.. Ho-hum

Well hello Again.... from a very wet England !!

B & I have just come back in, from a quick shopping trip to town.... it's really horrid out there !! I didn't actually get out of the car.... B parked up & I just sat & waited for her to get back. Even with the engine off, it got so cold in the blooming car I was regretting getting out of my nice warm bed this morning !!

Never mind... we're home, in the dry now !! Yippeee... I made sure the heating was left on, so we came back into a very warm & welcoming house !! I even had my slippers on the radiator, all nice & warm !! Great stuff !!

Having said, all of the above.... B has just gone across the close, to Murphy (the bear of a dog) out for his lunchtime walk in the garden. P (his owner) has gone away today... so, we're on Murphy type duties !! We have bought him this massive piece of bone, so... he can chew on that for most of the day !! If he was a bit cleaner, we would have him, Murphy, here with us, for the day - but, boy does he ever get into a mess !!

I'm not a dog person - so, it wasn't until we started helping P out with Murphy, that I found out that they (dogs) don't exactly go out of their ways, to keep themselves clean !! I'm guessing that's the same for all dogs (?)..... but, being a cat person & having 3 of them around the house - most of the time - I knew that they kept themselves clean.... but, not dogs !! Remind me never to actually have one on a permanent basis !!

Right - the family !!

B is sat a few feet away from me, having a cup of Mormon regulated hot chocolate... J is upstairs, & a little later on, ME & (boyfriend) M will be here for tea. ME stayed at M's all thru' last night, so.... when they get here, they can - maybe - help me with this new iPod I've
got !!

It's really cool.... well, I think so.... black, in colour & 20 times bigger than the 2 I have here... the ones I've been playing with, over the past few weeks !!

I don't mean, their 20 times bigger... as in size wise - can you imagine an iPod 12 inches long & 15 inches wide ? Oh hang on - they're called iPads !! No really - by bigger, I mean in the amount of music it can store & play back !! I'm going to have sooooo much fun messing around with this thing..... It's been called "Mini Egg".... mainly as that's the best name we could come up with, at the time !!

So - I'm the proud owner of a Mini Egg..... which, as I've already told them, is a family thingy.... It is mine - but, when some one wants to loan it, they can !! As long as they don't fill it with music I can't stand.... well, we'll be all happy puppies !!

I had an e-mail, from Lady V... to say the Allman's box set will be on it's way very soon.... so, maybe, just maybe, I'll put all of the box set on the mini egg & give them a listen, when I'm stuck in hospital
next !!  Whenever that might be....

We'll have a better idea on February 7th... when I see the Consultant's team.... and if we decide to go ahead with the whole spinal surgery !! Time will tell on that one... but, it's less than a month from now - so, it won't be too long, before we know what we're going to do !!

I decided... sorry, just back on music.... I decided that the track of the day, for yesterday.. well, after buying 'Rainbow Rising' (with ME's Xmas gift voucher) yesterday... the track of the day, just had to be 'Stargazer' !! I'm not sure about today's track yet.... it's not quite 2pm - so, I have time to think about it.....

As I type, the music of the moment is Status Quo's 'Forty-Five Hundred Times' from the live Cd, or one of them, I picked up from the library yesterday !! I have a pre-recorded tape cassette of it, someplace... so, in a way - it's great to hear it, with-out all the tape hiss, that goes along with it !!

As it's a Saturday.... I suppose there is a vague chance, we might go to Church tomorrow..... very unlikely tho' !! As I've written before - we are no longer members of the Taunton area and, as yet, we've not been told where our new Church is, even if we felt like going !! Oh well....

..... We actually had a text (on B's phone) this morning, from a lady member of the Church - trying to get us to do something. Two problems with that... (1) it's none of her business & (2) it's unlikely we'll be going to The Temple now, anyways.... so, we won't be doing what she wanted anyhoo !! All very complicated !!

Right... I better be on my ways...... I've got very little to do, but... I intend spending all day, not doing it !! My thanks to all of you, who have logged in, so far this year & a big "Hello" to the reader, in Canada... who logged in earlier !!  My thanks to you all... until next time...
