Therion & a very strange dream.. Ho-hum..

Hi again, everybody !!

How are your first days of 2013 going ? Mine are carrying on, where they left off, in 2012 !!  Feel like total crap & - looking on the better side of life - the music is louder & rockier !!  Can't be bad really....

The ladies of the house, have gone out shopping - I think they have headed up towards Bristol... not really sure on that one.  B wanted to go early (tho' it was ME's idea) so, it was done & dusted.... then she can take it easy for whatever remains of the day !!

That just leaves J... who is behind me, as I type.... plus your's truly, home alone !!  Hence the music is getting louder, by the minute !!

It seems we are having some Internet problems, so.... I'm not sure if these words will actually get posted or not - that's beyond me, I'm sorry to say !!  As for as computers are concerned, if I can't fix it with a quick bang, on the side of the main box thingy... well, I kind of give up !!

Not to worry...

The music of the moment has been Therion's 'live Gothic' 2 Cd set.... Cd one is almost at an end - so, I'll just let keep playing, onto Cd 2..... it's really loud !!  To stop waking the neighbours up too much, I've put the headphones on (for a while at least).... time to turn it up a bit louder I think !!

Tonight - being a Wednesday, we usually have a visit from our Church teachers.  However, as we don't seem to have a Church at the moment, I've e-mailed one of them & asked him not to come over tonight !!

It might sound a bit "mean"... but, I can't see any point in having lessons, about our Lord - or going to The Temple.... especially as we're not going any more !!  That is to say - as we no longer are part of the Church, that we've been a part of, for all of lives - in the Church... well, I don't see any point in any part of it.. I will no doubt  be "wrong" - as far as others think.... but, this time... I really have had enough !!

Onto other things.......

This years "Project"..... today's track of music, can really only be one thing....... 'Dreams' by the Allman Brothers Band. To try & explain........

Last night, I had - you've probably guessed - this really weird & strange dream. It featured stuff, from sooooo many years ago, well - I can't really put it all together !!  Part of it, was living at my folks house, some furniture that belonged to my Grandfather (who died in about 1961)... including some stuff, that I remember he had - all very weird !!

Add to that... there were some guys, who I've not seen in so many years + some thoughts about my ex-wife & her plans in coming back to England.... yep, it really was a nightmare !! Never mind....

The strange thing... if the dream itself wasn't strange enough.... I didn't think about it, not until I started playing an Allman's concert from September 1971, which featured a 19 minute version of 'Dreams'. Oh well... so, that's today's track.... even if I never get around to putting all of this stuff down, on paper, tape or Cd.... at least, I've written about it here !!

Onwards...

My thanks to all of you, who have logged in today... from America, thru' Europe and on to Malaysia... thank you all for reading my words - who knows, I might write something interesting, one day !!

Right - with Therion's 'Grand Finale' blasting away... I better be away, for now at least !! I want to transfer some Within Temptation tracks, over to the Ipod thingy...... I'm nowhere near to filling it up yet (the 2nd one) but, I want to get as much stuff on the thing, as I can...... If I don't go into the hospital, for another 5 months, at least I'm all prepared, music wise !!
