Well Done J !!

Greetings Worlds !!

It's another Saturday, here in England.... and, after several days of snow - the rain has come & washed most of it away !! Looking out of the window, it's a bright & cheerful day, with just the odd patch of the "white stuff". Oh well.... it was kind of fun, while it lasted.... but......

ME, bless her, managed to get to work... all thru' the worse of it - so, what happened outside (of the house) even more funny, than it looked !! To explain.....

The little close, that we live in, was really deep with snow, hence ME parked her car in the village, in order to get to the main road.... well, last night - for some reason - the NFH, decided to get a spade out & clear two tracks, away from her area, into the close.... we assume, to help get her car out, this morning.

It was a good idea, if you were going out, at that time....  but, all of the weather forecasts, showed us having warm weather, with lots of rain !! So, why on Earth she decided to dig her way out of the snow, when - by this morning - the whole road was clear - well, it's beyond me !!

It was "fun" to watch tho'..... especially, looking out of the window this morning & seeing everything back to normal !! Oh well - I've given up wondering why she (the NFH) does what she does.....

Right, I mentioned ME.... well, she has gone to work again, this morning... and, I think is only doing a morning shift, so will be spending the afternoon with M (her boyfriend). She's working tomorrow morning, so I expect her to be home in  a few hours or so...

A little while ago, B & your's truly, went into town... mainly as we needed a few bits of foodstuff & what have you. i wasn't going to go - as I thought B was going to the gym... but, in the end, she decided against it & I went for the ride. It's the first time I've been very far this week... so, it was "nice" to get out & about - even if I did stay in the car !!

At the moment, she (B) is behind me, in the kitchen, cooking up some things.... including a cherry pie - so, if you all want to come over, we'll cut you up a slice !!

That just leaves our Son, J... who - I'm really glad to say - has won a place at a Uni in west Wales, starting in the Autumn term, I think !! he had all of the paper work, well, some of it, come in the post - so, after a few years off, from study, he will get back into it, in a few months !!

I'm proud of both of our kids - especially  when things like this happen......  hopefully J will get into it &, in a few years, get the qualifications he is looking for !! Well done J - I'm proud of you....

The music of this very moment is by Dream Theater - a track or two from their live album 'Live Scenes From New York'. It's a 3 Cd set... tho' I'm not 100% when it came out - quite a few years ago now.... but, it's still good !!

The track of the day - continuing with my "project" to list a track, each day of the year... well, it has to be Robert Plant's version of 'Song To The Siren'.... the old Tim Buckley track. I'm going with Plant's 'Alpha Mix' version..... I just like it, that's the only reason
really !!

I actually saw Mr Buckley once... at one of the Knebworth concerts.... probably in 1975, tho'... I'm not sure about the exact
year !! I think he was on the same bill, as Floyd, but... I honestly can't remember !!

I was going to continue, to put stuff on the Mini Egg.... but, as I hadn't posted for a couple of days, I decided to write instead !! I will never fill up the Egg - but, I'm enjoying doing it tho' !! Lots of music.... more than enough to keep me "happy" during my next hospital stay !!

As yet, there is nothing new to report on any actual dates - for the surgery... but, I'm sure it will all work out soon !! I still have the 4 hospital visits, in the pipeline... so, I'm guessing, if they decide to go ahead with it, i will know shortly after all of those !!

As mentioned before, I could not get to the "clinic" - on Wednesday - but, I had a nice 'phone call, from the lady I see there, to arrange a visit this coming week. I thought we were going to have a two week break, but... her plans changed, so... it's back on for this week !!

It's all good..... I even have to see my local Dr, on Monday (I think)... which will give me the chance to go thru' a few things. I've had all this stuff booked, in the hospital, but.. to be honest.. some of it, I don't understand !! I know what the basic stuff means - but, some of the more complicated stuff.. well, I hope he can explain it a bit simpler for me !!

B & I were talking, on the way home... about how things are going to be, after the surgery. it will be an interesting year & that's a fact !! I will try & keep you all up to date, on how things are..... while I'm actually in the hospital. It is possible to use a computer & tap into the system, in the actual rooms... but, as I've never used it before (in the hospital)... well, I don't know hoe good it's going to be !!

Time will tell, I guess.... so, it's all good !!

Right... my plans for today....

Well, I want to put some more music, onto the Mini egg... so, that will keep me going for a few hours. As for tomorrow - as it's Sunday, well - i would like to go to Church - but, I don't think that's going to happen. It's all too complicated, to write about (again) today... but, if you want to read some of my older posts, they will (kind of) explain it all !!
