A wet trip to town..... with music "Wow" !!

greetings...

Just a quick post today.... it's cold & wet !! No - really, that's not really an excuse..... but, B & I have just come back from a quick trip to town & I really need to warm up a bit !!

Talking of My Wife & Dearest Friend - B - she is sitting a few feet away from me, watching the lunchtime news & drinking a hot chocolate drink...... as the "pilot" of our banger (aka - a car) she probably needs warming up more than me !! I could, at least, just sit back & enjoy the trip..... with the heater on !! B had to concentrate on the road !!

As for the rest of the family...... well, J is about here, someplace....... while, ME is upstairs, in bed. She is working thru' tonight, so she is trying to get a bit of sleep under her wings !! I don't envy her driving out, later tonight.

In parts of the country, there is heavy snow..... but, we just have the rain - and, in places, more flooding !! Hopefully it will pass over the weekend, tho' I don't know what the forecast is !! Nevermind.....

I took the chance, as we were going into town... to use the
Mini Egg !! "Wow" !! Compared to the old iPod thingy, we have been using... the Egg just blew it out of the car !! It sounded sooooo much better !! It's one of the few times I've given it a proper listen - I was not disappointed !!

I really hope to get full use, out of it, while I'm in the hospital...... judging on what I heard, in the car, I will not be too upset by what I've got !! I'm not sure how long the powerpack will last - but, if I take a laptop in with me, I will be able to "charge" it up every day.... even if I don't use the hospital's Internet service.

As I've mentioned before - to use the "net" - while in the hospital - costs £7.50 per day & I think that's a little too expensive !! I will use it - but not everyday...... If I'm in there, for say, just 10 days (I hope) that's way too much money - to use it every day !! I'll see how things go.....

..... as yet, I've not even got a date, to go in !! So - I'm kind of jumping the gun a bit, worrying about how often I'm going to use a blooming computer !!

Also - if the surgery goes to plan.... I'm not really going to be thinking about computers, while things are going on around me !! It's not going to be a "pain free" stay - so, I'll worry about everything else, once that's under control !!

I'm still not convinced it's going to happen...... it's a big unknown, at the moment - so, as I keep saying "time will tell" !!

Alright - I must away..... I've got nothing to do & all day not to do it in...... if that makes any sense at all - in the meantime, I will just sit back & warm up a bit !!
