I quite like the quiet......

Greetings Worlds !!

How has your weekend gone ? here, well - it's been quiet, inter-spaced with low moans..... more on that later.

It's now a cold & breezy Monday - the snow, that was promised for today, has yet to reach us. We did have a few showers of the white stuff, last night, but that didn't last very long...... just enough for ME to get excited about, as her car started to go white !! Never mind.....

Talking of my Daughter..... she has driven B into town. I'm not sure how long they are are going to be gone - judging by the looks on their faces, as they went outside.... into the cold...... they will be back pretty quickly !! Neither of them go a great bundle on cold weather !!

So, that just leaves J here, to keep an eye on me & to make sure I don't get into trouble - I will try to be good & keep myself out of mischief !! It's early yet, so........

This is a fantastic concert... well, to me at least !! I'm not a great lover of the band, when they have The Duke Horns backing them up..... but, this show is really good. They don't over shadow the rest of the band - just add to it all !!

J asked me - a day or two back - if the Allman's would ever release another studio album.... their last, 'Hittin' The Note', came out in 2003.... so, it's been 10 years - but, for me,  all of the live shows they have brought out, since then, more than fill the void !! It helps that I really like 'live' albums..... but, they are still really good.... check them out, if you get the chance !!

Getting back, to the weekend.... once again, we didn't get to Church. B asked if I wanted to go - but, it's got to be a joint decision, especially, as she is one who drives the car....... So - as she didn't make any effort to get ready, I guessed we were not going..... and we stayed at home, again !!

Nevermind - maybe next weekend..... I will have to wait & see what happens !!

As it was - we had a very quiet couple of days. I don't even remember, what we did on Saturday !! I really need to get a new brain implant, or something !! I honestly can't think what I did, 48 hours ago.... that's crazy !! Oh well.... it will come back to me...... maybe.....

Oh yes - I mentioned the low moans....

Yesterday, I really was in a lot of pain !! No matter how I sat, stood or lay down... I just felt like crap !! It was a bummer & I am sooooo glad, today, that I feel a bit better.... at least, a little bit !! At least I'm not moaning so much - well, I don't think I am !!

Just playing a bit more of the Allman's concert.... they have just done a great version of 'Death Letter' !! I think it is the same song (well the lyrics) as the track The White Strips play ?! I'm not sure about that - but, it's the only group I can think of, who play it !! I'm open to suggestions on that.... all comments are greatly received !!

Looking out of the window.... the sea, off in the distance, is really bright today !! I'm guessing the tide is probably in - it usually is, when it looks this bright. I'm also guessing that there aren't too many people out there swimming !!

Right, my plans for today.... well, none at all !! I have a bundle of Cd's here, beside me, which I hope to put onto the Mini Egg..... but, to be honest - I'm running out of steam.... so, I might give up, for today & have a bit of a rest !! The Cd's - nor the Mini Egg,  - aren't going anywhere.... so......

As for the rest of the week..... well, I have no Dr's to visit.... or the 'Clinic' to attend - the latter finished last week - so, it's going to be very quiet !! I shouldn't moan, really.... I quite like the quiet........

Anyhoo.... I best be on my ways - for now at least.... I thank you all, for logging in & reading my words... until next time...
