Another misty day in England....

Greetings World's....

It's a Wednesday here in England...... and it's misty & horrible
outside !! But - at the moment, I'm staying in the warm & dry - maybe later, I'll head out into the "wild blue yonder".... but..... not
yet !!

Yesterday was a very busy, but really great day !! It was our 25th wedding anniversary !! Yep - after 25 years - we're still together & we have 2 great kids together..... one of who is actually hoovering the living room floor, as I type !! Our Son does have his uses !!

In her defence.... ME did do the dishes earlier.... so, she did well on that front. It's good to know they're help out, when we need them
too !!

So - the kids are home.... and B has gone into the gym, for a class of some sort or another. it starts at 10am..... so, she won't be home for an hour or so. Later, I think, we are going back into the shops - tho' I'm not 100% sure if I'm going or not.  I can't remember what the plan is !!

Sop - that's the family..... me, of course - I'm typing these words to you all..... my readers around the World..... from Russia... all the ways thru' Europe & across the pond to the USA. My "Hello's" to you all !! I thank you for your time & taking the time to read my words.

The music of the moment... well, it's another Allman's concert - from the 2012 box set. This time, from March 17th of last year. The tracks are:

CD 1

1) Bill Graham Intro (1971)
2) Midnight Rider
3) Trouble No More
4) I Walk On Gilded Splinters
5) Announcement
6) The Sky Is Crying
7) Statesboro' Blues
8) Egypt
9) Desdemona
10) Hoochie Coochie Man

CD 2

1) These Days
2) Dark End Of The Street
3) Announcement
4) Gold Dust Woman
5) Stage Banter
6) Southern Man
7) Ain't Wastin' Time No More

CD 3

1) Maydell
2) Manic Depression
3) Announcement
4) That's What Love Will Make You Do
5) Jessica
6) Crowd Noise
7) One Way Out

Two things - without listening too much to this, that stand out, for me........ Bruce Katz gets to play piano on 'The Sky Is Crying' & - after seeing Gregg Allman, in 2011 - I now can picture BK going crazy on the keyboard !! Plus - there is a version of Neil Young's 'Southern Man'.... so this 3 Cd set has paid for itself, right away, without me actually listening to it yet !! Life is good......

Back to yesterday.......

I had my last visit to the 'clinic', to see B.... who I will now promote to the office of Lady B - to stop any confusion, with My Wife & Dearest Friend...B !! Anyhoo.... Lady B & I had our last visit together & I can't help feeling a bit of loss !! I've been going to the 'clinic' for several months now & it has helped me sooooo much, it really has.

When I first started going - I didn't know what to expect- to expect, & how things would turn out !! I know I'm not perfect & I will still have my very low points - but, I hope...... well, I hope I don't get that low again. There are things I won't bother you all with, here..... but, Lady B has really given more than she has taken & that has been really fantastic !! If you ever read these words, I thank you Lady B.... for everything !! I will try & not let you, my family.... or myself down !! "Thank you" !!

When I was finished.... B & I headed off, up the motorway to Weston...... not exactly something we had thought too much of doing, but there is a Cd shop & crafty shop there - so, we both had something to look at !! As it turned out - neither of us bought
anything !! Me - in a music shop & coming home empty..... I must be sick !! But - anyways.... on the way's back... we went into a garden shop & I managed to buy B some orchids that she liked !! So.... she will have those - instead of the flowers I wanted to get for her, yesterday. The orchids, hopefully will last longer !!

The low point of the whole day... well, that was the really long - 30 minute - traffic jam, on the ways back !! Nevermind - it will teach us to avoid "rush hour" in town.... not helped by road works & crazy drivers !!

It was followed by a quiet night home.... which suited me fine, I was really knackered by the night time !! Oh well..... Not the most romantic way to spend a wedding anniversary.... but, that's just the way we are, I guess......

As for "now".... well, I have a couple of e-mails to write & then, if we go into town... that will the day done & dusted !! "Such Is Life".....

I will away for now...... again, I thank you all for logging in & reading my words...... until next time...

Bye Bye
