Asleep at the keyboard.....

Well - "Greetings" Worlds !!

It's another Wednesday - and it's about 8pm. As I type, B is a little ways to my left, watching a great TV programme, about weddings..... that might not sound too exciting, but... it covers loads of different Religions & their various rituals & stuff. This is the 3 or 4th one in the season & it's been a lot of fun !! Oh well......

As for the rest of the family, J is upstairs, on his computer..... well, I think he is - but, as my computer is running really slow.... it's a safe bet !! Nevermind..... ME has gone off to work - she is doing a couple of nights, so.... who am I to moan !! Well - I have moaned a little bit...... but, that's been more about weekends !!

At the moment - she seems to be working all the weekends, every week...... but, as she (ME) explained - there are only 2 full trained nurses - so, she is doing the weekends - at the moment !! I hope, she will get a break soon - it would be really nice, to have all of the family here - for a Sunday meal, together !!

All well - it's up to them...... I used to work every weekend, all the day - except for holidays & illness. Our lives are sooooo different tho' - it's no comparison !!

As there is no music playing tonight - because of the TV..... it's all a little quiet !! Earlier - well, things were going pretty well, lots of rock blasting away to itself !! The last bit was The Who's 'Baba O'Riley'  - as played live, by the Blue Man Group !! Oh-hum......

My typing will get a little slow now......... I've just burnt two of my fingers, sorting out the wood, for the fire !! Never mind - it will heal & just add to my various scars !!

B took me out, this morning.... we went & had a look at a new place to live !! We have this house.... where we have lived, now, for about 14 years...... and it's "Ok"...... not perfect, but it's become a home to us. So - with all of that, my health has gone down hill & now we are considering getting ourselves into a bungalow type of place.

Anyhoo - we were told about one, this morning & so we went around to see it...... expecting it to be empty & open to view. Wrong !! There was a guy there & he was really pissed off by our being outside of "his" home - all being it, only for the next 3 days !!

All wasn't too interesting tho' - it was a detached home & what have you.... but, it wasn't for us. It was in a built up area & didn't appeal to either of us - it was kind of crap really !! Oh well........ maybe next time !!

Right - I must away now....... I took my evening pills & potions a short while ago & need to switch this off, or else I will fall asleep at the keyboard !! We can't have that happening now, can we ? I thank you for all for logging in..... until next time...
