The last clinic & more music..

Well "Hello" World's !!

How has your day gone, so far ? Mine is pretty crap.... I had great plans for this afternoon - all kind of secret, to surprise B tomorrow. But, that's all gone by the wayside..... never mind - I'll try & think of something else !!

Anyhoo....

It's another Monday, here in old England. It's not too cold, but it's very overcast & misty outside. I say this, from the vantage point of my chair, in the living room & looking out thru' the window !! I am not thinking about going very far today...... I'm staying in the warm !!

I'm "home alone" again !! The guys have shot off, up to the Mall, on the outskirts of Bristol... and B - well, she has just left, for a meeting in town..... her second of the day !! The first being here in the village - this afternoon's is being held at the gym.

So - with everybody out... I'm not 100% sure how I'm going to spend my time !! I've been playing music all thru' the morning - as well as loading some more stuff, ready for the Mini Egg..... so.... I'm not sure if to play more music, watch TV - or even head off to bed !!

I'm trying very hard to multi-task..... not easy for me !! I'm transferring stuff, from the Project '87 tapes, over to Cd + I'm trying to load stuff, onto the computer, ready for the Mini Egg + I'm writing this post !! For me, this is very complicated & I might really need to lie down !!

If you have read these words of mine, before - especially over the last 2 years or so.... well, I really like to surprise B & enjoy it if I can pull off the surprise, with-out any "give a ways". By that, I mean - with-out her having a clue as to what I'm up to !!

Well, as it's our 25th wedding anniversary tomorrow.... I had great plans & hoped I could get some flowers delivered tomorrow morning, for her. But - all my plans went out the window, when B decided she couldn't find the bank card - the thing I needed to use, to order the things !!

So - after much searching... she was heading into town, to go to the bank, to cancel the card.... now, she has just 'phoned to say the card was in the wallet.... all along !! So - here's the thing...... She checked the wallet, I checked the wallet & now - I would say, almost magically, it has appeared - in the wallet, the thing we both emptied out !! The Lord works in mysterious ways........ but, it does mean, B will not be getting her flowers now....... oh well. Magic !!

These concert albums are fantastic.... if you are a fan of good rock music and enjoy live recordings.... heck, even if you're not a great fan of live recordings... buy at least one of the shows, just to check them out !! They're great value for money & each show is a treat to the ears !! I've got 27 to work thru' - and they really are worth it !!

Ok - my plans for the rest of the day....... well, I'm not really sure !! It's not quite 2pm yet - so, the day is pretty young. I will no doubt find something to while away my hours !!

Oh - I forgot... I wasn't able to go to Church (again) yesterday....... I really needed to be at my best & yesterday I was far from it !! I didn't sleep too well, over night & there was no way in the World, that I was going to make it to Taunton, the way I was feeling !! Maybe next week.....

Tomorrow, I have my last clinic meeting.... I can't believe I've had 12 of them already !! I was not really sure, what to expect from my time there - but, it's been worthwhile & I'm really glad I was able to go !! It has helped me, thru' the highs & lows of the last... well..... I was going to say... the last 20 weeks, or whatever it's been, but - it has helped me get over the last "everything" !! Not just the time I've been going.... but, lots of stuff !!

So - with it being our anniversary + I have the clinic... well, it's unlikely I'll be writing anything tomorrow. I hope we will be able to go up to Weston - after my clinic finishes.... but, we'll see how things go, I guess. It might be pouring with rain & that would not be too good !! Time will tell on that, I guess !!

Anyhoo - I best be on my ways........ until next time...
