Pigs On The Wings & other stuff......

Hi again everybody !!

How are you all doing this fine Tuesday ?! It's another cold day here in England.... sure, we don't have the snow, that other parts of the UK are suffering with - but, I don't think they worried too much about us, when we were in the deep white stuff..... so, now it's their turn & my turn not to worry about them !! Does that make any sense at all ?! Never mind.....

Right - as I type, it's a boys at home alone, kind of day. The ladies of the house were here, a little while ago - but, once again, ME decided to go shopping & took B with her !! Luckily, J & your's truly, did a quick tidy up this morning.... so, that has given B a little bit of space, in her "I'm going to do the housework today" plans...... We "men" do have our limited uses !!

I didn't have a great night.... I was down here, in the living room at about 2 or 3am. The knock on - well, I had hoped to sleep a bit longer this morning.... but, that went kaput, when there was a loud knock at the front door !! It was enough to wake me up......oh well...

It was my old teacher from college.... he pops in, from time to time, to see how I am & to leave some magazines. He is a devout Jehovah Witness - and even he knows we are Mormons (honestly !!) he still leaves his mags - to try & convert us, maybe. Anyways - this morning, ME pointed out I was in bed... so, he didn't stay.....

I would of liked to have spoken with him.... but, I was too slow to get down the stairs, he was gone, before I could stop him... I'll see him, next time around.

I've spent some of the morning, sorting out the piles of unlisted/unmarked Cd's that are floating around the place. Honestly - I found stuff from early last year, that I haven't down anything with yet - I am working on them now tho' - so, I've made a start, at
least !!

I did find a Neil Young live set, from his most recent USA tour.... I had been trying to find that one for yonks !! I knew I had a copy - I just didn't know where it was !! Oh well..... now it's found & life is good !!

The music of the moment is a bit of a strange one, really. It's part of a 3 Cd set - that I did (for myself) from a Mostly Autumn DVD. This disc - the one I'm playing - is completely made up of Pink Floyd cover versions !! I kid you not - it's been well good, to listen to again !!

In my own defense - I'm taking the tracks off a scrap of paper, I found in the Cd case - if some of them are wrong, I'll say "sorry" now.... it is good tho' - I'm going to check it out, to see if it's been released officially !! I want a better copy.......

As it is - this version is going onto the Mini Egg..... which now has over 21,000 tracks on it !! That should give me something to listen to, when I'm in hospital !! Well - for a day or two, at least !! Sooooo much music & sooooo few brain cells to listen to it all with !!

Ok - my plans for the rest of the day....... well, I did think about giving my entire Cd collection, to the first person to leave a comment on my home page - or whatever it's called.... but, I worked out that, it probably going to be classed as bribery (is that even a word ?) or something - so, we'll forget that idea, in case I get into trouble....

So - I will be on my ways & try & sort out some more of the Cd's.... until next time...
