Greetings World's !!
I hope your days have gone well..... mine has, so far, been pretty good !! Less than an hour ago, the fantastic looking Allman Brothers "2012 Year Of The Peach" box set reached me & it looks sooooo brilliant, anything I write about it... well, it wouldn't do it any justice at all !! Check it out on the bands web site....
Why I deserve this.... well, that's down to My Wife & Dearest Friend, B !! It's our 25th wedding anniversary next Tuesday & this is her pressy to me, to celebrate !! It's going to take me hours to listen to all of the 27 concerts.... but, for now, I will be happy to just look at it & take in what a lucky man I am, to have a Wife like B.
As for the lady herself...... well, she has gone out with ME, for a trip to visit some relatives & take in a bit of shopping. Not B's favourite pastime, but when ME is at the wheel - well, shopping is almost always on the menu !! They will be back some time later.... I've no idea when.... but.....
The music of the moment is some old Bruce Willis album...... I can't really remember what it's called, but it's on one of the Project '87 tapes, so.... enough said !! For the record - it's tape 36 out of 42.... and, I think, Cd 46 out of I've no idea !! It means I won't get it all transferred onto 50 Cd's.... but, hopefully, less than 60 !! Time will tell on that one I guess !!
While the music is playing, I've got the News on, quietly in the corner..... there was an election, yesterday.... in one part of our lovely country. It seems that the Labour party were a bad 4th. I don't really care too much, who wins or anything else really.... but, for the, so called, main opposition party to only get 4th place.... well, that's kind of strange !! Hopefully is will make room for some kind of change...... oh well !!
Just back to music.... the last of the 3 "new" green Day Cd's came this morning, 'Tre!' I'll get around to playing it, as soon as I can - but, not today.... when I finish this bit of writing, I'm off back to bed.... mainly as I feel like crap again & need my beauty sleep !!
It's one thing, not to sleep too well, overnight.... but, when it drags into the day as well.... my only answer is to sleep & hope it all goes away !! Never mind.... it will be interesting, to see how things will be like, after the next surgery !! I'm not too sure how it will alter my sleep problems - but, hopefully it will get a little better !!
My friend in Bristol 'phone a little earlier..... I might have put him off his lunch, when I told him what was going to happen !! Oh well........ hopefully, just hopefully, things will get better...
